Life is so full of wonders! Shortly after her sister Faelwen discovered her pregnancy, Xenia learned that she too would be having cubs. She felt a little guilty after the cubs were born, for it was obvious they couldn't belong to Bhek, but since they were never officially in a relationship she couldn't feel too bad. How could she? There was so much to be excited about!
Sitting outside her den, Xenia giggled breathlessly as her oldest son bounced and scampered through the grass. He was so full of energy and so good on his feet for his age. She could hardly believe how out of breath she felt after playing with him, but he was still zipping about like a bright dragonfly (she couldn't be that old). At least she wasn't the only one. Her other son, Prinny, was passed out in the den after Aiolos left him all tuckered out. Aiolos darted up to his mother, putting his front paws on her leg and pushing on her. He looked up at her with big, sparkling blue eyes. His pink mop flopped over his eyes. "Chase me, mom, chase me!"
No one would have been surprised if Bhek had been the father of this little ball of energy, for he had at least double the spirit of the average cheetah, but in fact the boy's father was a leopard. He was slightly smaller than his brother, with shorter legs and a longer, lankier body, but form Xenia's perspective he was clearly a leopon, exactly the same as his brother."Oh, I'd love to sweetie..." Xenia panted. "But I'm just so tuckered out. I can barely stand up!" She rolled back her eyes and dramatically flopped onto the ground.Rather than be discouraged, Aiolos laughed and climbed onto his mother's head. His mother loved to be silly with him and he knew it. He tugged on her ear, growling playfully.

Running, running, and more running had been todays activity. Weaving in and out of people's legs, trying her bestest to not be stepped on by anyone who was passing by, Luthien was. It was amazing that the girl hadn't smacked into a tree yet, especially considering that she ran with her eyes closed. She tried to explain it to someone earlier, but they just didn't understand the concept she was trying to present: that closing your eyes while you ran made you go faster, or at least she felt like she was going faster, and if she felt that way, she was doing so.
As Luthien sped along, not sure of her course someone called out from nearby by, warning her to watch out. Curious, the black and pink leopon opened her eyes to notice she was on course for a head on collision with who she was told was her aunt Xenia, and cousin Aiolos. The little black and pink girl gave out a tiny squeak as she tried to keep herself from veering into them, subsequently running herself into a bush right next to them.
"OOOWWWWWWWWWW~!" She whined, attempting to untangle herself.

"Luthien!" Xenia sprang to her feet. Oh, the poor thing! Xenia couldn't stand the thought of a cub being hurt. Now that she had cubs of her own, her instinct to protect Achana's youth was even stronger.
"Hold still, baby. Let your auntie help you." She gently pushed the branches aside, being careful not to poke Luthien too much. With the branches out of the way Xenia picked up Luthien by the scruff of her neck and set her down outside the bush. Aside from having her fur a little ruffled Luthien didn't seem hurt. Xenia smiled in relief. "Are you alright? That was a pretty rough landing."
In her rush to save Luthien, Xenia almost forgot about her son. When his mother leapt up Aiolos gasped and slid down her neck between her shoulder blades. Holding on tight to his mother's back, he craned his neck up as high as he could to see around his mother's head. When he couldn't see what was going on he hopped off her back and went to see what the big fuss was about.

Luthien gave off a little growl as Xenia gracefully plucked her from the dreadful attack bushes that had just attempted to eat her whole. Being placed safely on solid ground, Luthien shook herself off quickly and glared at the bush before looking back to her Aunt, attempting to explain, "The bush came out of nowhere and tried to eat me."
Spotting Aiolos as he hopped off Xenia's back, Luthien trotted over with a happy little grin and gave her cousin a nuzzle, attempting to cling to him and have him drag her along as he walked. It wasn't working too well, though, as with Luthien's hybrid lineage, she was a tad bit bigger than he was.

Caught off guard, Aiolos stumbled and almost fell on his side. Why would she push him like that? She must want to fight!
Aiolos smirked. Instead of going along with Luthien as she might have wished, he threw his front legs around her neck and tried to get his little jaws around her jugular, growling ferociously. His style of play might seem a little too rough to Luthien. Aiolos was used to play fighting his brother, who was even larger than Luthien and could stand up to his antics.
Xenia giggled softly as she watched the cousins play. She always knew she wanted to be a nanny, even when she was Luthien's age. She simply never wanted to grow up.

Luthien gave off a little growl as Aiolos playfully went for her neck, attempting to push him away from her. She knew these games, as her brother played them with her as well. He wasn't as rough on her as Aiolos was being, but Luthien was sure she could hold her own. She was a big girl, and was capable of big girl games.
"I am not food!" She purred, attempting to get her paws around Aiolos as she rocked back and forth to try and roll him and herself over. She had learned small tricks for dealing with play of this nature, they didn't always work, but she knew them.

With a joyous smile across her maw, Xenia sat down to watch their game. She had a lot of brothers going up and new how boys liked to play. If the game went too far she would be there to step in. "Be careful, Aiolos!"
Still holding onto her, Aiolos went up on his hind-legs and wriggled furiously, trying to shake her off and throw her to the ground. Instead, Aiolos shook too hard and lost his balance, falling over on his back and causing Luthien to land on top of him. He wriggled on his back and snarled. Too heavy! Wasting only a second, Aiolos tried to roll over on top of her. "Ow! No fair!"
