Background History:
Shiiba was born in a village that stood between the land of ninja, and the land of the samurai. His mother was a kunoichi of Kumokagure, and his father was a samurai. Word went out of this meeting, and his father was sentenced out for a public execution for being considered a traitor by his own people. Shiiba's mother went to raise the child in her own village. During his childhood, Shiiba had exceptional strength for someone his age.
Shiiba joined the ninja academy at an early age. He practiced in mainly Taijutsu, and didn't bother that much with Ninjutsu, or Genjutsu training. He focused, and succeeded the academy at the top of his class. He quickly took the chunin exams a few weeks after his graduation, and only a few missions with his squad under his belt. He was one of two ninjas to pass to become a chunin at the age of thirteen. He went on countless missions, and succeeded them all with his platoon. Over four years later he developed his signature elemental-gauntlet techniques, and earned him the title of Jounin, and the title 'The Smiling Cat'.
Shiiba was chosen amongst an elite force to fend off an invasion of a foreign army. During the fighting Shiiba's team was killed off, and Shiiba managed to hold off a army of samurais byimself by fighting for a two days straight until the current Raikage could send reinforcements. He was carried back to Kumogakure, and went to give his report to the Raikage. He was given the title of Sannin by his village's leader. After this accolade, he was considered a hero in his village, and couldn't stand the attention. He left the village, and wandered around the land for five years.
