Brutally honest. Very critical of failures- especially his own. Blatantly self-deprecating. Always does what he knows is right, whatever the risk to himself. Bio: His parents died when he was ten, leaving him and his younger brother, Rief, in the care of their older sister, Aka. For a time, they were happy- a close family in every sense. Until a representative of the Guild of the Moon came to visit their village. Stark didn't buy into any of their talk, but Aka seemed inspired by the agent. She began meeting regularly with the representative, her mind steadily being filled with their ideals, then coming home and sharing her experiences with Stark. Stark's concerns grew steadily as Aka's zeal did, but he decided to just ignore it. Until he awoke to his village in flames, his sister surrounded by her new cohorts, and his little brother dead on the floor. Desperately Aka tried to convince him to join their cause, but he refused- what cause was worth so much pain? Without a word, one of the Guild members struck him down, leaving him to die in the burning wreckage of their house. When he awoke, he was surrounded by ashes and splintered wood, his and his brother's bodies miraculously untouched. He swore something at that moment. He vowed he would stop the ones that had taken his brother's life, and poisoned his sister against him- that one day, he would kill whoever had started this nightmare, if it was the last thing he ever did. Appearance: Heavily scarred-and I do mean heavily. Has a cross-shaped scar across the bridge of his nose, three long scars across his chest, a crosshatching of scars on his shoulder blades, etc. Commonly has torn or matted fur. His claws are always chipped and worn from battle, though he tries to take care of them. "Legends are overrated. They're all dead. What can they do?"==~== ::The Smart One Name: Rem Hallen Age: 17 Gender: Male Species: Ninjask Rank: Officer Ability: Speed Boost- The Pokemon's Speed stat is gradually boosted. Moveset:-Fury Swipes -Mind Reader -Metal Claw -Dig -Zen Headbutt (TM) -Shadow Force (Heart Swap) -Ancientpower (TM) Hold Item: None Personality: Subservient to a fault. Very concerned about his new superior, often the voice of reason when Stark is about to do something stupid. Very quiet, keeps to himself. Bio: Rem arrived at a post for the Guild of the Sun a long time ago, apparently unharmed, but in shock from some event. Very quietly, he asked to be taken in by the Guild- if only to have a place to stay. Rem fit in very well at the guild- he was polite, respectful- but still silent about the events that brought him to the Guild. But even so, at least he was a hard worker... Appearance: Rem's wings are tattered and rough-looking, from some event in his past that he refuses to talk about. He always wears a black scarf around his head, marked with some symbol of untold significance. Oddly colored, mostly olive in coloring, with red forelimbs and wings. Often "hugs" Stark excessively (full-on tackle glomp). She's matured slightly, even before her evolution, but she's still very much the same Pokemon. Bio: Abandoned as an egg, Luna was taken in by Stark, then formally adopted when she hatched. She doesn't mind much that she was abandoned by a family- she found one that didn't, after all. Appearance: Slightly smaller than other Marshtomps, Luna retained her grey-and-white coloring after her evolution, but not her "moon fin." "My Daddy's gonna whip you good!"==~==  Name: Geisha Takeoka Age: 19 Gender: Female Species: Mismagius Rank: Officer Ability: Levitate- Gives full immunity to all Ground-type moves. Very polite to everyone she encounters. Never gets angry, but very passionate about what is right and just. Bio: Geisha claims she owes something to Stark for helping to fight off Teacher and his entourage (Fear, Misery, etc.). She doesn't say much about her past, but she's always where Stark is, eager to be of service. Appearance: Just like a normal Mismagius, except an odd cyan color. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Moveset: -Mind Reader -Confuse Ray -Shadow Sneak -Shadow Ball Hold Item: None Personality: Has a bit more life than most Shedinja. Drift is very curious, always investigating his surroundings- much to the irritation of some team members (duh, it's Stark.). Bio: What's to tell? Drift is a result of Rem's evolution into a Ninjask. Nothing more. Appearance: A somewhat oddly-colored Shedinja, with darker colors and more brown and tan tones to him. "..."==~==  Name: William Shaw Age: 20 Gender: Male Species: Luxio Rank: Officer Ability: Intimidate- Lowers the foe's Attack stat. Moveset:-Charge -Thunderbolt -Spark -Crunch -Dragon Pulse (TM) -Dark Pulse (TM) Hold Item: Magnet Personality: William is always itching for a fight- even if it's with his fellow team/guildmates. William tends to follow the crowd, but he always ends up going back to what he knows is right. He also fancies himself quite the ladies' man... Will also speaks with a very slight Scottish accent. Bio: William was an orphan from a very early age, and was taken in by the criminal known as Faust- his foster brother at the time. He went along with Faust's schemes for most of his life, before finally realizing that he wasn't cut out for the atrocities Faust and his gang was commiting. However, there was no leaving Faust's crew once joining- anyone who tried was killed, and someone else usually went with them. Then, at the Lightning Factory, he encountered Team Blacksteppe, who defeated them and forced Faust to retreat, leaving behind a number of the crew. At the end, William saw an opportunity as one of those abandoned- rather than track Faust down, he would turn over a new leaf, and join with the Guild of the Sun- but which team to choose? The answer, of course, was clear- join the team that had freed him. And so, here he is. Appearance: A shiny Luxray with cobalt blue hues and red accents on his legs and tail. Has green eyes, unlike most of his kind. "Let's start the a**-kicking already!!"

Moveset: -Blaze Kick -Crush Claw -Bulk Up -Mirror Move -Lava Plume (TM) -Double Team (TM) Hold Item: None Personality: Very shy, not very vocal at all- treats most people with a sense of awe and wonder, especially his new "sensei," Stark (much to his disdain). On the other hand, he is a very humorous character around those that he is comfortable with. Bio: Foster son/nephew of the famous Kenshin of Blades, Mako was raised by Kenshin after his father's untimely death, shortly after he was hatched. As Mako grew up, and was even somewhat trained by Kenshin, he was told on many occasions that he was not destined to stay with him- that someone greater than he would one day defeat him in battle, and become Mako's teacher, leading him to the greatness he was truly destined for. Mako believes, as his uncle does, that Stark is that teacher, and will follow him to the ends of the earth to rise to his uncle's expectations. Appearance: An average shiny Combusken with slightly darker red tones. "Yes, Sensei!!"==~==  Name: Siegfried Morgenstern Age: 41 Gender: Male Species: Heracross Rank: Officer Ability: Guts- Boosts Attack if there is a status problem. Moveset: -Megahorn -Extremespeed -Close Combat -Swords Dance -Iron Defense -Reversal -Bug Buzz -Focus Blast Hold Item: None Personality: Very honorable, many samurai-like tendencies. Very proud of his singing voice, quite likely to burst into song at a moment's notice. Bio: Siegfried was six years old when he first encountered the legendary Kenshin of Blades- immediately after his father, a legend in his own right, was defeated almost immediately by Master Kenshin. After a few days, Siegfried set out to find Kenshin- not for anything petty such as revenge, or honor, but a single question- how? How was his father defeated so easily by this stranger? Sieg trekked for days across the Warrior's Plateau, before he finally found Kenshin and asked his question. Kenshin offered him the chance to stay and discover for himself. He spent thirty-five years searching for that answer. Sieg was the first and strongest of Kenshin's students- the Resolute- and no matter how many hopefuls came, went, or were taught by Kenshin, Siegfried was always implacable... until Stark and his team came and defeated Kenshin, and Siegfried realized there was still much he could learn. Now he travels with Stark and his crew, training dilligently in his quest to improve his power. Appearance: Sieg has red eyes, and a predominantly green body, with the exception of his wing cases, which are blue inside. "Dare you try and stand against me??"

~::Recruit List (cont.) Name: Alastor Argonne Age: Unknown Gender: Male Species: Lucario Rank: Officer Ability: Justified- Raises Attack when hit with a Dark-Type move. Moveset: -Aura Sphere -Force Palm -Psychic -Earthquake -Flash Cannon -Calm Mind -Dragon Pulse -Extremespeed Hold Item: None Personality: A bit of a loner- can be seen hovering about the rest of the Team, but never really seems part of the cohesive whole. Stubborn, somewhat arrogant, says what's on his mind and nothing else. A very philosophical person. Bio: An old associate of Kenshin of Blades, Argonne seems content with keeping most of his backstory under wraps. Meeting at a memorial service, Argonne was impressed with many of the aspects of Stark's character. He chose to remain with the Team for the purposes of advising Stark on how to accept his responsibilities as the Team's Captain. Appearance: A mostly grey Lucario with red highlights. Still bears the natural coloring of his kind's chest fur. His left ear has been injured, with almost half of his ear removed. He declines explaining further about this accident. "Show me that spark within, or get the hell out of my sight."==~==  Name: Nariko Yoshitsune Age: 18 Gender: Female Species: Dewott Rank: Officer Ability: Shell Armor- The Pokémon is protected against critical hits. Moveset: -Razor Shell -Swords Dance -Fury Cutter -Aqua Tail -Water Pulse -Ice Beam Hold Item: None Personality: Very shy around people she respects, for fear of insulting them, or seeming immature, or whatever other fear she has about talking to respected persons. The only real place she feels free is in battle- all of her normal inhibitions are null and void as soon as she gives into the "dance of war." Bio: A rather unknown person on the Warrior's Plateau, due to her shyness around superiors. Like most of the fighters in her area of the Plateau, Nariko grew up idolizing Kenshin of Blades- until, predictably, the fighter was defeated by Stark's crew. From that moment, Nariko was almost obsessed- who was this warrior that had defeated her idol? What kind of power was capable of such a feat? Nariko attached herself to Kenshin, finding out everything about the ones who defeated him. After training for months and months, and gathering all the information she could about Stark and his crew, Nariko set out to find her new idol. And possibly join with the new most powerful man she knew. Appearance: Nariko is mostly grey, with green legs, and normal colored shells. Her shells are obviously well-used. ~::The Team's Permanent Guest Name: Gabriel Age: 16 Gender: Male Species: Weavile Rank: Officer Ability: Pressure- A Weavile's reputation is fierce, causing enemies who fight Gabriel to waste energy when attacking. Moveset: -Slash -Beat-Up -Agility -Scratch -Quick Attack -Faint Attack -Icy Shard -Night Slash Hold Item: Usually nothing, though occasionally a pair of Black Glasses. Not that he has any real use for them. Personality: Gabriel is, easily enough, something of a hedonistic individual but not one without reason. The Weavile is rather devoted to embracing fun and pleasure within his life with a good sense of foresight. Overindulgence is often painful and he tries to avoid it, though he succumbs to it often enough all the same. The hedonism that is core to his life is invasive of all aspects of his being, though not readily apparent in any of them. Idleness bores him. He's cool and confident with all people; there's almost always a grin on his face and it suits him. He simply doesn't care what others think, so long as they don't present a problem--worrying about it isn't fun, so he doesn't care. The people who dislike him, for that matter, often aren't his definition of "fun". Instead the Weavile spends his time surrounding himself with good people and fun activities. If it's neither, it's typically working towards those two things though very rarely is that the case. Gabriel loves fighting and fighting is a very good way to make money. Bio: Prior to joining Blacksteppe, Gabriel was a member of an older, disbanded team. After the team disbanded he continued on with the four friends he had joined with for some time before they finally went their separate ways. Gabriel began doing solo and mercenary work until he eventually struck a deal with Blacksteppe. In the end he received an offer to join the team and took it. Appearance: Gabriel looks as any other Weavile does, though he often has his blades for work and very rarely wears his glasses. Though unnamed, his two blades are well maintained. Though both are simple steel, they shine and are kept sharp. Aside from the blade, however, the two couldn't be more different. The older blade is held only in a simple black sheath with a grip of only leather string wrapped around cloth. The other, however, has a much more intricate design. Two black stripes run down the sheath, cutting across the otherwise blood red shade that adorned it.
