Girls are often view, and view themselves, as more spiritual than men. To illustrate this they have scented candles and foam yoga mats.

So this begs the question, how deep is your spirituality?

Very Deep, I'd say.

Extremely Deeply Spiritual. However women are not necessarily more or less spiritual then men. they tend to just have different goals and applications for spirituality.

Basing it on the yoga mats and scented candles not very much. Same thing with reading scripture/bible and attending mass. I gots my learning about it in school and am confirmed in the faith. I have good spiritual defenses, or so I would like to believe, and unshakable morals...Unless zombies are involved. then my morals are different.

I don't buy into this spirituality thing. Maybe if someone could define it for me, I could give an opinion. But it's one of the vaguest terms ever.

Spirituality is generally the focus of being "at one" with others. Religions often deal with this "oneness" in some form or another. Christianity generally refers to this "oneness" in reference of being separated from the "oneness" of G-D. This "oneness" with others often seems to be the core of spirituality. Some seem openly aware of it others tend to be unaware of the application it has in their lives.

i'd say everything about me is Spiritual, but it takes on an identity that many Spiritualists and atheist alike find to be very unexpected and confusing.

I don't know. On the whole I'd say it's pretty deep, but I think a lot of people here could say that because they're here discussing spiritual matters. On the whole, I'd say mine's nothing extraordinary but I feel God's Presence enough that I can breathe, and I'm not floundering the way I was once.

I practice a internal style martial art that improves energy flow. And I go out in nature and commune with the life in it. It's hard but well worth it.

I would have to believe in spirits to believe in spirituality.
Now, how in-touch am I to myself, mentally?
In large amounts and broken limits I could not begin to explain.
Spiritually? No, because I don't believe I have one.

My tradition does use femininity as a symbol for intuition which my religion believes to be humankind's link to my God. Now as to women being more spiritual then men, I can't say. More women come up to me asking me about Gnosticism and Christianity than men I've seen so far but I don't want to make the jump and say that women are more spiritual since I feel I would be giving into a confirmation bias.

I'd say I'm fairly spiritual. I pray, meditate, read and interpret scripture, practice personal devotion rituals,... Not as much as I would like to but enough.

Now I do have to ask what does scented candles and yoga mats have to do with spirituality and why does this practice beg the question?

Heh, this is the first I heard this particular definition. But now you used another word you'd have to define - oneness. Is this like "connection"?

P.S.: The Wikipedia definition: an inner path enabling a person to discover the essence of their being; or the “deepest values and meanings by which people live.”

yes spiritualist traditions often express how everything is connected looking at the entire picture (everything that is connected) is essentially the oneness however their are many disagreements how this oneness is defined among spiritualists. In the end you really have to decide for yourself.

Wikipedia is explaining the basics (and some advanced material) of spirituality in the definition you provided.
