A pair of red eyes peered out from behind a pile of rusted metal and old carpets and cautiously looked around. All was quiet, much to Twi's relief. The small drow sighed in relief, and darted across the alleyway and into an empty building. Inside he rummaged through debris until he found the pouch that he had stashed there earlier during the raid. The invaders had been so intent on destroying the House, that they hadn't even seen the small pickpocket sneak in their midst and filch the pouch from their leader's belt. Twi smirked triumphantly, opened the bag a few inches and peered in. He about lost his breath when he saw the shining rubies and emeralds inside.
"Now this is treasure!" He laughed gleefully and pulled the bag shut. He shoved the pouch under his tunic and under his left armpit. There was no way he was going to lose loot this magnificent to anyone, not even the old coot that called himself "master" of the young pickpockets that he allowed to sleep in his warehouse. Nothing in the master's warehouse was ever safe from him. Twi was going to have to find another place to keep the loot. But just where would that be?
Since he had been turned into an orphan, only three years before Twi had had to learn to depend on no one but himself. Sure..there were always those who claimed they would help him and keep him safe from the slavers, but they always lied. If the old master knew just how pretty Twi was under the smudged dirt on his face and the tattered clothing he wore, Twi would have seen the inside of a slever's cage by now. And it wouldn't take long for some rich b*****d to snap him up for his own debased pleasures.
Twi shuddered at the thought. The only thing for him to do was to keep his head low, keep himself looking dismal, and find someone who he would want to serve. Of course he still had some childish fantasies of finding a mother, a mother who would care for him and actually treat him kindly. Though he knew that wasn't very likely, he still held on to the hope that it could be possible. He just had to find the right person. There had to be some female that would want a child pickpocket as gifted as he was to build up her House coifers.
With his treasure now in hand, and no adults around to shoot odd looks at him, Twi skipped off humming a tune to himself as he made his way to the marketplace. If he was lucky, he'd find the perfect stooge to sell some of the gems off to. Normally he stayed away from the marketplace and sold his collections to a fellow with an actual storefront, but Twi was in a hurry and wanted to get some coins quickly. Not to mention ravenous.

Caramon was walking through the market place with his brother. Quite unaware of any of his surroundings. Most his market time wasn't to purchase, he was there to watch over his brother and protect him.
Raistlin was actually in better health than he had been for years right now. The mage could walk with no help from his brother and his staff he held, not needing it for support. He tried to get his twin to stay at home but he wouldn't listen and came anyway. Oh well, he was only out to get a few supplies from the market anyway.
((sorry it's short but they'll meet like soon anyway lol))

Twi'leit roved the marketplace, his eyes flittering around nervously as he eyed every drow that was taller than him in a suspicious manner. This pretty much meant every drow that was in the marketplace, as Twi was well under four feet in height. His feet had ceased skipping when he had entered the marketplace and his eyes had grown older and sharper looking. Twi knew fully well that anyone could grab him at any opportune moment and drag him off to anywhere. That was one downside of being so small and vulnerable. He rather hoped that he'd grow up to be big and strong, like the monstrous male that was walking behind him.
Twi was surprised he hadn't spotted the guy before, he was way to obvious and didn't seem to be thinking about keeping a low profile. Twi frowned as a sudden thought came to him. Maybe the fellow wanted to be seen. This was a strange concept to Twi, as he was always careful to hide and stay out of sight.
Twi spotted a vendor that dealt in precious and rare stones and ran over to the tent. "Anyone awake?" He called, trying not to be too shrill or loud about it.
A few moments, a slightly flustered drow emerged from the back and peered out. he frowned when he didn't see anyone and would have left if Twi hadn't called out, "Down here!" The drow's eyebrows shot up and he leaned over the tall counter and peered down at Twi, whose eyes barely made it over the top of the counter.
"What is it that you want?" He asked suspiciously.
"My mistress sent me to sell something, hold on," Twi said, reaching into his tattered tunic and pulling the pouch out. He kept the pouch down at his waist and pulled out one of the smaller gems and held it up for the vendor to see. "How much would you pay for something like this?" He asked.
