 At the edge of Cerulean City, the deep cave known as the Dungeon awaits those either brave or foolish enough to enter. The cave is filled with many Pokemon, both powerful and rare. But many People believe a demon awaits at the dungeon's basement floor and that it will slay any who dare enter it's domain. Anyone venturing into the Dungeon should be extremely careful to watch themselves and come well prepared. Appearing Pokemon sad Generate a random number between 1 and 32. Kaya suddenly found himself sitting inside a cave, no entrance in sight. Rem floated by his side, looking around as well. "These mystic artifacts are so hard to get used to...." the Jirachi commented as he lifted the Winged Talisman from Kaya's bag and looked at it.
"So...where are we?" Kaya managed to have caught his breath by now and clambered to his feet, looking around. The cave was dark, nearly impossible to see inside. "This isn't good..." Holding out his hand, he felt around for a wall, or a rock or something to give him some kind of clue. Nothing came.
"Why not use that funny glowing stick of your?" Rem suggested.
"Huh?" Kaya looked around for the Jirachi. It was hard to discern where the Pokemon was when he made no tangible sound to trace. "Oh! You mean the Hana Nagamaki!" The man smacked himself on the forehead as he pulled the staff off his back and held it up. The glowing, fruit-like orb on it's end provided just enough light to stumble around in semi-darkness.

"Bah! I still can't see anything!" Kaya complained as he tripped over the 50th rock{He'd been counting} while stumbling around.
"I apologize, Master, but neither can I." Rem provided, 'helpfully'.
"Oh, hardy har har." Feigning laughter wasn't really his forte, but cursing under his breath when he stubbed his toe on yet another rock was, apparently. Rem gasped slightly as a string of curses escaped Kaya's mouth that made nuns in Hoenn start praying for forgiveness.

 Hiding in the darkness, there rested a small Pokemon curled up in the shadows. It's small, furry form kept it insulated against the cold deep inside the cave. The sound of footsteps awakened the tiny creature and it looked around. Having lived in the darkness for so long, it spotted Kaya and his Jirachi easily. "Chiiraaaa?" it questioned, curiosity getting the better of it. Humans didn't come into this cave but very, very rarely. And this one didn't seem to be here on purpose. Oh, but what if he was lost? He could die down here in this dungeon. That would be bad. Especially since the small critter could help him get out. "Mii! Chira chiramii!" Rushing towards the human, the small creature scampered up his leg and hid in the bag on his waist. It would reveal itself in the future, if the human really needed it's help.

Kaya jumped slightly as a Lickitung rushed out of the darkness with a Rollout aimed at him. Jumping back, he quickly called on Linux for assistance. "Let's go Linux! Discharge!"
Linux obeyed quickly, unleashing a rapid pulse of electricity from his processing core.
Lickitung's Rollout, having missed, had come to an end and it stood erect just in time to get hit by the stray lightning blast. Shaking off the numbness, it glared at the Porygon, unleashing a loud Screech, which echoed painfully off the stone walls of the cave.
Linux, with the plans in motion, once more Dicharged bolts of electricity.
Lickitung, struck once more, seemed to struggle and strain for a moment before it's rubbery body sparked and crackled. ~Me First~ it shrieked, letting loose with the powered-up Discharge.
Linux unleashed another Disharge, lashing out at the Normal type.
Lickitung rolled up into a tight ball and began to roll around, picking up speed before it rushed the hovering Porygon.
Linux let loose another Disharge, finding himself sudden;y struck with two consecutive strike from the Lickitung's Rollout. He summoned up his energy reserves and released another powerful Discharge, watching as the smoking Lickitung was blasted back into the darkness.

Kaya whipped around at the sound of a voice. A murmur, even. Everything was so much louder in here. "Who's there!?" he called as he swung his staff around, hoping the faint light would help him see.
No answer came. No sight came. Still in the pitch blackness, he jumped at the sound of beating wings. "Oh, dear Gods, get me out of here..." the ex-prince sighed as he barely dodged a Golbat on the prowl.

The voice moved slowly, for once in his life, actually being careful. He knew he'd have to plan this carefully. Kaya was tense. Wary. He was ready for anything to rush him. He didn't seem to know where he was, though. This could prove beneficial to the encounter. Give it a few more minutes, Travis. Wait until he starts getting desperate. Panic sets in. The rational mind shuts down. Reactions use up too much energy. He'll exhaust himself before you evere make a strike.

Despite his dislike for the interior of this cave, Kaya wasn't panicking the way his stalker had hoped. "Seriously, Kaya, get a grip. There's nothing in here that's going to eat your face off."
"Talking to yourself is the first sign of insanity, Master." Rem joked with Kaya.
"Au Contraire, mon ami." Kaya replied, surprising himself with what little French he remembered. "Talking to oneself is a sign of genius."
"Apparently so, considering I didn't know you knew any French." the Jirachi replied.
Neither expected the creature lurking in the shadows when it came.

Despite the rising distaste for his situation, Kaya kept his cool. Whatever was lurking nearby, he could handle it. He knew he could. He hoped.
He heard a rustle of movement behind him and spun around to find a Persian glaring at him from out of the gloom, it's eyes glowing gold.
Reaching to his waist, the Bounty Hunter grabbed a Pokeball and pitched it into the darkness, releasing Aoibhinn. The Metang's crystalline body shimmered in the faint light. "Take Down!"
Aoi lunged forward slamming full force in Persian's body. The force of the attack shoved the feline into the nearby wall, it slumping to the ground there. The Cougar-like Pokemon glared at Aoi and it's forehead gem glowed as it summoned the earth energies around it in a Power Gem.
Aoi lunged forward at greater speed, barreling into Persian and forcing it into the wall yet again. The Pokemon Slashed at the Steel type, finding it's hard body resistant to it's claws. It jumped to it's paws and fled to a farther distance to await the Pokemon's human to issue orders.
"Take Down again, Aoi." The Metang lurched forward, it's hard, metal body striking Persian painfully. The Feline once again summoned up the earth energies and unleashed a Power Gem.
"One more time, Aoi." Aoibhinn, tired from the attacks, sped towards Persian once again. As he contacted the Pokemon, he found claws in his face as Persian Slashed again.
"Confusion!" Kaya called, knowing this would be the end of it. Aoi nodded and his eyes glowed blue as his mental power emerged, lifted Persian from the ground and throwing it back into the darkness.

Hey, Kaya? Its Bray. I'm in Celadon right now, and it might be a bit hard to believe (although... considering our record, its not that far-fetched), but Moltres, Articuno, and Dialga are here. I can't understand really what they're discussing, but hopefully they can figure out something to do to help.
Currently, there is a barrier kind of thing blocking off Saffron, Lavender, and Fuchsia. I'm a bit worried about home. I got a call from my parents a short while before the barrier came up, and they said that Team Rocket had the place completely overrun. I haven't heard anything from them since the barrier went up, however...
Wherever you are, hope you're safe. When you can, maybe you can meet back up with us? Hate to admit it, but I miss you. =)

As Kaya watched the Persian being blasted away, he jumped at the sound of his PokeGear going off. Looking at it, he wondered what was up. Noticing that it wasn't a call, he summoned Linux. "Can you get me a Satallite uplink so I can check this message?"
"Linux can and will." the Porygon replied before vanishing back into the device.
A moment later, The Pokemon voice echoed out of Cyberspace. "Kaya should be able to check his mail now.. Linux has also installed a holo-keyboard for return message input."
"Thanks Linux." Reading the message from Bray, he nodded to himself. "That sounds right." He glanced at his global map and found that his position was now marked. He quickly typed a message back to his husband.
Upon hitting Send, he stashed the device away and called out Tintreach. "Gimme some light, pal."
