I know the feeling of feeling as though your faith is slipping through your hands like fine sand. And I will pray for you, but two things come to mind: In 2 Timothy 2:13 it says "If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself." and in Romans 10:17 it says "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." But my other question is that how can you quantify (assign a number to, e.g. 15 km.) faith? Note that faith is defined as, "confidence or trust in something." Romans 10:17 then can speak to this situation and also a principle we see in 1 Corinthians 15 where Paul reminds the church in Corinth about the Gospel, not because they need to hear it again, but rather because it is good to remind ourselves of it. So then my question for you is this: How often are you in the Word?

As for your boyfriend, that doesn't sound logical, not to be mean or judgmental, but you say that he believe but does not, please explain. But I would say encourage him as though he was not a believer, i.e. share the Gospel with him and witness to him and pray for him.
