Im interested in buying a headset, but want to know how much they help your game. Do they help a lot of a little sweatdrop ?

I just higher the volume in my tv. But i consider headsets better. They help u in s&d most of the time

its very good when your not doing well and you mouth of someone who is acting tough, gets the heart pumping and the blood boiling.....making me and maybe you play hell of alot betta ;D

I don't really use the headset because I am too lazy to put my headset on even though it is right next to me.

its really helpfull so u can communicate with ur team mates and plan out the game so u can beat the crap out of the other people

It's better to hear all of the cool sounds that come out of the video game but it's even better if you have a higher quality sound coming from the video game, So you can hear nearby footsteps or nearby enemies shooting off their weapons with a silencer. So yes it actually helps if you want the upperhand.

I have a turtle beach x1 headset and my mate has a turtle beach x4.
With a £100 price difference all thats different really is that x4 have wireless.
Sitrep pro with a turtle beach x1 = Amazing.
I killed a whole team on search just by knowing where they were.

Headset = No need for Heartbeat Sensor. You can make out footsteps better with a good headset, and if they are using ninja pro make them silent, the Heartbeat wont matter anyways. Plus, being able to communicate with your team will always increase your chances of survival and winning. Just remember, if you get a headset, it comes with a mic too!
(As you may be able to tell, one of my biggest pet peeves is someone with a mic but does not use it to give out critical information such as "The bomb is on the ground by B" or "x Amount of people are at Y".)

Heres me and two other gentlemen as we played Sabotage the day I got my headset...
Me: Damn. Got noobtubed.
Noob1 : MAHN, F**K THOSE LITTLE HOES
Me: Careful, there are about two noobtubers peeking out those windows...
Noob1: AWW, THANKS FOR TELLIN ME NOW, I JUST GOT BLOWN UP
Noob2: *mumbling* Hey SnowDude....join...clan...
Me: ...What about a clan?
Noob2: *still mumbling* ...join our clan?
Me: You...want me to join your clan?
Noob2: Yeah.
Me: No thanks I'm good.
Noob1: I HATE THESE MOTHERF**KIN B***HES
Me: *sigh* Can someone help me plant the bomb?
Noob1: I"M TRYIN TO KILL THESE N****AS
After about several attempts, I planted the bomb by myself, and we won.
It goes to show you that not everyone should have a mic/headset...

Turtle Beaches get me paranoid. One time I heard footsteps so I checked behind me and I ended up getting shanked from the front. I have to remind myself not to have them too loud.
