And apparently he's a descendent of Vlad the Impaler, the guy who inspired the character Dracula.
He's the distant cousin of Prince Harry and Prince William, who are distant nephews of said Transylvanian leader, according to some chick at Ancestry.com who apparently has enough time on her hands to stalk a Twifail star's supposed ancestry.
Seriously? SERIOUSLY? One week until the premiere of the third movie of s**t?
I call publicity stunt. evil
I'm so sick of this craaaaap. I had a vague, naive inkling when I first saw a link on Comcast to this story that it'd be legit. but noooo. Just another Vampire stunt.

I'd say that sounds like complete bullshit. Considering it's just a Twitard, who has no genealogy experience, no access to actual historical records, apparently hasn't picked up even one book about genealogy, and is working with that farce of a site 'ancestry.com' I'd say she either ******** it up, or 'doctored' it so it would give her the results she wanted to see.
I'll believe it when a trained professional who knows what the hell they're doing says it. Other than that it's still just fans being fans.
It's about as hilarious as the 50 bajillion people who claim to be related to Henry VIII or Cleopatra.

Why do I keep forgetting to include links when I post about stuff, lol. Allegedly she's a geneologist on Ancestry.com, And I'm not sure she's a fantard, but she did seem positively -tickled- that she found this oh so "magical and mystic" discovery. I quote: Quote: Tracing Pattinson's family back to Vlad was difficult research, but the pieces that unraveled created the perfect accompaniment to The Twilight Saga. Without any myth or magic, we find royalty and vampires lurking in Pattinson's life - making his story just as supernatural as the one he's playing on screen. Ugh. Kinda makes me wanna barf. Who has the bucket?
I mean...Yeah, it'd be cool...if I didn't think it was complete bullshit used to promote this godawful series.

Okay exactly how distant? Because if here's a single whatever-by-marriage then there's no blood relation. And I honestly don't trust anything that mentions Ancestry.com. It may be a good starting place but they haven't mapped the whole of the world's population and relations throughout time.
I say made up.
@Sheba, here, I have the bucket. *gives bucket* have fun.

Really I'm starting to feel sorry for Pattinson with all of this. Sure he brought it on himself by being willing to play mr. sparklepants in the Twifail movies, but I don't think anyone could have predicted the level of sheer freakishness that they achieve.

I mean...Yeah, it'd be cool...if I didn't think it was complete bullshit used to promote this godawful series. Sounds like a twit digging for straws to me. The fact that she types like a love suck teenager is quite worrisome given her claim of being genealogist. Isn't there....y'know a professionalism requirement for that line of work? *Edit: I did some digging around. Do you know that this woman, waving around her 'I am a Genealogist and RPatz ish related to Dracula lawlz' is a 24 year old woman? So if she does have the right education (a degree in family history, or a diploma at the very least) she is probably not nearly as experienced as the article makes her out to be. Diplomas usually take 2 years. Degrees take 4. Even if she got into college at the age of 18 she's barely had that much experience. It makes me highly suspicious considering that if she IS supposedly a professional she has broken the code of ethics in her line of work by over-exagerating the connection. Part of the ethics code states that it is her job NOT to stretch the truth: http://genealogy.about.com/gi/o.htm?zi=1/XJ&zTi=1&sdn=genealogy&cdn=parenting&tm=6&f=20&su=p284.9.336.ip_p504.3.336.ip_&tt=7&bt=0&bts=0&zu=http://apgen.org/ethics/index.htmlThe other reason I distrust her so much is her lack of proof of the claim. There are no links, no pictures, and no information supporting her claim. Just an awful purple-prose sentence gushing about how she discovered the connection. Even so, if she is a genealogist she should get her a** booted for breaking the ethics code. -_- And if she had even a lick of professionalism she wouldn't be treating Vlad The Impaler as though he was some super-dupper-omg-real-life-sparklpire. The man was not a freaking Vampire! It sounds more like an effort to push ancestry.com and Eclipse into public spotlight. Convenient considering both require money. They're probably hoping a swarm of twitards come rushing to the site hoping to find some connection to Meyer.

1. I doubt it.
2. I didn't realize it comes out next week. Time to get out the shotgun, Billy-Bob.

Somebody needs to resurrect Vlad the Impaler, so he can impale Meyer with a giant wooden stake fastened to the ground.
Please?
