Training Grounds!

This is one of the areas where the eighth division can train at. It is a large, big room that has an equipment room off to the side of it. The room is spacious with mats against the walls on each side in case things get rough. There is another door in the back of the room that leads into a small hallway which ends in a small room that has nothing in it except for a mat to sit on and meditate.

The items that are in the equipment room are used in many different ways. There are dummies that can never be destroyed. Some of which are better for swords. Others of which are used to practice Kido. There are also other tools such as throwing knives and other things in case someone in the squad wants to learn how to use them in case they need too.

Masaki entered the training area and set up a few dummies in a circle around him. He set his zanpakuto down in the ground and looked at all the dummies. It was time to get serious. In his head, Masaki simulated a battle situation. He was surrounded on all sides by an enemy and had lost his zanpakuto. He had to rely on Kido and Hakuda alone.

Perfect.

Masaki crouched down and kicked himself into the air. In a real fight, the enemy would follow him up. He performed an aerial spin kick to knock the enemy away and pointed at one of the dummies. "Red smoke escape!" He vanished in a puff of smoke and reappeared back on the ground. At this point the enemy would be confused for a split second. Masaki knocked several of them down with a kick to the legs and flipped over them. He picked one of the dummies up and threw them at the "pursuing" dummies. Know the enemy was more disoriented and he had more time.

"Sokatsui!"

He fired a blast of blue energy, creating blue flame that crashed down. It gave him enough time to grab his zanpakuto. He threw his arms back and hurled it forward. "Show your fangs!" He yelled, still holding his sheathed zanpakuto. Nothing happened. Masaki smiled and put his sword away. He didn't like releasing it in a non-battle situation, even practice.

He put all the dummies away and found a small room with a mat on it. He decided to take a nap on it.

⊰♌⊱ Ash had went by her office and saw that Misaki wasn't there. So she had decided to look for him. After all, being alone, was terribly boring. In the end she couldn't find him anywhere else so she decided to come here and train a bit.

Ash entered slowly. Her swords were along her back. One moved along her arch of her back, going up to her right shoulder. The other, moved along the back of her waist, facing her left side, was swishing lightly against her while she walked. The red glint of the sheathed could be seen through the windows of the training area when the sun hit them. Though as she looked around she found that things were a bit out of order. Sure, there was nothing out here and everything was in the storage room. But she still felt like it was out of place. She check the storage room and sure enough, it looked as though someone had been in there and moved things around. She tilted her head and sighed, but also smiled. She had a feeling she knew where Misaki was.

Leaving the storage room, Ash headed towards the back room that was more of a meditating room. There she found who she was looking for. "Hey. Weasel. Wake up!" She told Misaki. That nickname actually felt right to her. She nodded. "Weasel!!" She yelled slightly. So he would wake up. "Come on. I want to show you something." She told him nicely. "Now that you're in this Squad, you get to use something awesome." She told him.

Though at the same time she also wanted to go there to train herself. Sure, this training room was nice. But there was something better. And Ash always loved to go there and train. It was actually better to train there anyways. A lot more space. More terrain to work with. And down there, its easier to commune with the Zanpakuto. Though, at times her Zanpakuto wouldn't show herself. Ash frowned at that. She sometimes had trouble talking with her Zanpakuto. Thinking that her own Zanpakuto didn't even like her made Ash worry.⊰♌⊱

Masaki opened one eye and looked up at his squad captain. Ash seemed to be in a good-ish mood. "Something awesome, eh?" He yawned, then sat up straight. "And what exactly is this super awesome thing?" He hadn't realized that being a part of squad 8 would give him anything cool. Or cooler than being on the 8th squad. But this. He had to bite.

Masaki leaped up and stood at attention. "Alright Cap'n Ash, let's get to it!" He got enough sleep as it is. Masaki gripped his zanpakuto's hilt eagerly and leaned against the wall. "I can see you've been holding out on me." Through the hilt, Masaki could feel that his zanpakuto was eager to be released. He rolled his eyes. It was a weird sword. Eager to get out sometimes, but once it got out, not always eager to work.

Sort of like Masaki himself. He grinned. Two weasels.

⊰♌⊱ Ash smiled. She then waited for him to move away from the mats. Though she laughed about what he said. "I've been holding out on you?" She asked him. She then laughed some more. "Not at all. This is your first day here. I've only now gotten a chance to show you anything. So how is it possible that I was 'holding out on you'?" She asked him.

But instead of waiting for an answer she moved to the mats. After kneeling down and feeling around for a moment she managed to push a button. The mat that she was just moving around on shot downward and opened up to show a staircase. Smiling Ash looked at Masaki. "Come on Weasel. Follow me down here." She told him. After that she headed down the stairs. She didn't bother to wait for him. He'd follow if he wanted. But once he did follow the mat would go back into place.⊰♌⊱

Masaki stood up and smiled. Maybe he would get a chance to spar with his captain and see exactly what she was made of. Maybe. He really liked the idea. And showing her what he could do would earn him some points too. This, he was looking forward to.

He watched his captain descend the staircase and leave. He grinned a weasel grin. Masaki liked hiding places. Very much. Masaki looked down at Itatsi. It wanted to play. "Sh," He whispered. "You'll get your chance. But this is for fun, not hurt." He tapped the side of his sword's hilt. "You like that more than hurting anyway."

Yawning to hide his interest, he descended the steps with his captain and entered the secret training grounds. Into the dark, he could see a new area opening up before him.
