OK guys. I brought this up awhile ago and it's apparent that you're all too lazy to post something about it so here it is! I was thinking about preparing a few months ahead for a BIG fun amazing meet-up and we need ideas! The idea me and some others were thinking is to maybe have an Oaks Amusement Park meet-up where we get there kind of early, have a wonderful time and then have like a lunch thing where we all can bring some food to share and eat and then ride more rides and whatever else we wanna do there SO this is my idea. Any questions, comments, thoughts or concerns are loved. I'm open to ideas guys Edit~ Well I'm sticking to the Oaks Park idea. It's final, we have people that can help pay for others tickets. Not only that but the park has a lot of deals like two for Tuesdays, Safeway and Fred Meyer days and what not. So I'm now thinking towards the end of summer might be good. Around the end/middle of August or so. Comments are loved

It sounds like a great idea, but yeah, there's the money problem. I have a possible solution to that. Maybe some of us if we have a little extra money could pay for other people as well as ourselves? It would probably depend on how many people were going. But I get paid $68 a month. So if I saved a bunch of that I could probably pay for a few people.

I didn't think Oaks costed any money unless you wanted to ride the rides. I was under the impression that parking and admission were free.

I know some of you don't have money, that's why I wanted to plan this ahead of time so you can save money for it. There isn't really too much to do at Oaks Park but ride rides, unless you just want to go to the Arcade but that still costs money. But the parking is free And I love IosefKoranison's idea

I'd love to go.......on a weekend of course, with WORK and all, the unlimited ride bracelet was only $15.00 for all day. If we all brought food then we wouldn't need to buy there, $3.00 for water, etc, etc. OH, and the Go Karts are separate and cost $5.00 per ride. smile ~

Sounds interesting. There's also the Family Fun Center as another option. I haven't been to Oak's in a few years (as in around eight years or so) so I don't know if it's improved any since I was last there, though when I was there last it looked like it was all but dying out. Perhaps they've improved it, though.
However, I can't spend much money until I come back from Star Wars Celebration V and Disney World (I'll be leaving in about another month, August 13th I believe). I need to save all the money I can for the trip-- my costume has been more expensive than I thought, about $500 now, so that put me back a little more than I'd planned. But after I get back I can probably do a bit more as I'll know how much money I'll have left. smile
So, after my rambling, I may or may not go depending on if it's before or after the trip and my money situation.

8 years?! Geez, yea I'm sure it's improved since you were there last. They've added some new rides in, changed a few rides and moved some rides to since I've been going there. So I donno much, or anything about the Family Fun Center but we can hold off this until you get back from your thingy because I want you to be there and have a good time too. I know you don't get out too much xD

I don't know much that I can say to help, other than I'll definitely help pay for stuff. And I'd love to go to Oak's Park. So I guess whatever we get figured out is good for me.

Yeah, I could probably pitch in some money as well, though again not until I get back from my trip. Unless I happen to win the lottery, of course; than I'll buy everyone's tickets. xp
