I've always loved those couples probably because of that one manga picture with them all together. It's always been my absolute favorite colored manga pic.

I'm not a big fan, because of my pairing of Makoto and Sapphire/Saphir. ^^;
I do imagine that they were couples during their past lives. For example, Makoto and Nephrite were a couple during the time of Silver Millennium, but they broke up for some reason or another. Probably because Nephrite chose duty over love.
I think Naru and Nephrite would have been a cute couple!
To me, Zoisite will always be a woman. He looks waaay too feminine in the anime to me for me to ever consider him a man...and I grew up with the English dub. I swear, Zoisite really DID get a sex change in the anime! ^^;
I can see Venus and Kunzite together. I'm not sure about the other pairings, though.

Hmm Houou-chan I really dont think that they were ever ever couples,although that is a beautiful picture, I think it just represented the Sailor Senshi's counterparts, you know because they were kind of like gaurdian senshi for Endymion-sama back on earth, and not couples with the other senshi.
And Naru and Nephrite were kinda together until he was killed hehe and then she had to move on to Umino (melvin for you dubbies lol) hehe, which I think they are cute together biggrin
And Zoisite a girl?? this is what really makes me angry about the dub stressed they have to change things because we have such a close minded society here in america!!
They did this with Haruka and Michiru, and Fisheye!! stressed and of course Yukito and Toya from CarCaptorSakura. it really would have sent a good message to kids growing up if they left it the same that being different is ok, maybe we wouldnt have so many sucicide rates if we as a society were a little more accpting. ohhhh it makes me angry hehe stressed but thats my oppinon and you are entitled to your own ^_^

Actually, Venus did have a crush on Kunzite. And Takeuchi did say she toyed with the idea and would have liked to have done something with it.
I don't think they should have made Haruka and Michiru cousins. I still don't know whether Fish-Eye is a man or a woman. O.o; But for some reason, even knowing that Zoisite is a man, and watching the subs, he just LOOKS so much like a female in the anime, and his mannerisms and speech patterns...that I just think he was born in the wrong body!
I have no official position on gay rights and such. Do I think they should be able to visit their partner in the hospital? Yes. But because of this "cross-dressing" day at my high school (guys wearing fake boobs and stuff), I just don't care for cross-dressing. And when guys speak in this high-pitched feminine voice, it grates on my ears. I don't know where I really stand on the whole marriage issue. I don't hate anyone, but the whole gay rights/marriage issue has always sort have been a grey area for me. Yes, I'm a Christian, but not one of those "all gays go to Hell" types.
Personally, I just don't like to talk about the issue...but know that I don't hate anyone. I may not like a person's lifestyle (i.e. cross-dressing), but it doesn't mean I hate them.

Houou-chan I see what you mean dear, and I didnt mean in anyway to attack your point of view, I was just stating my opinion hehe.
And yes I have seen the interview where she did toy around with making them couples, but she also toyed around with alot of other stuff that never came to be, making it not part of the Sailor Moon continuity hehe.
And you know venus, she has a crush on everyone and there brother hehe (including Haruka at one point XD) I actually thought it would have been nice if Minako and Artemis would have ended up together, since they were so close and I really love that part in the manga when he saves her from falling smile but he is of course destined to be with luna and Im not at all upset by that biggrin
And I think you view it that way because you have always seen Zoisite as a girl, and you cant really view him as a boy in your mind.
And no they shouldnt have changed Haruka Michiru! ^_^
And On the Debate of Fisheye, he is originally a Man, but changed to a woman in the english dub.
They also change the episode where Fisheye is takeing the dream mirror of a male fashion designer, because the fashion designer has a boyfriend but they change it to his brother. And they take out the part in the episode where Fisheye takes of his shirt and reveals a male chest (albeit it looks like the chest of a teenage boy hehe so its very feminine)
There is also a part in the original Japanese series where they are talking about potential targerts at the amazon bar, and Fisheye says something about wanting to get this man because he is attractive, and he gos to put on lipstick, and hawkeye has a funny questioning face and says "You know we are all men right??" So yes he is a man hehe I actually really like fisheyeye hehe.
And I see, well myself being an lgbt senshi, here and in the real world, I have very firm stand point on gay rights hehe
And you are exactly right about those men, crossdressing at your school. I really hate people who make fun of actual transgender people who really do go through an incredibley hard time sad
And about Mairage, Im just going to say.... Can we vote against you being able to get married?
People loving eachother is not a sin..
And Im glad you are an accepting christian, that really makes me feel good inside smile I myself am personally not, and have received much ridicule from many christian for reasons you can probably imagine hehe so It makes me happy to see people like you smile

Anyway, back to the Shitennou...I wonder what would have happened if Adonis/Danburite and Minako really did become a couple?

Yes, thats because the Amazon Trio played an incredibley miniscule role in the manga hehe I really like them I wish they would have been in it more, but oh well hehe. and hmmm O_o it sure would have been interesting if they had, oh the possibilities we could explore smile hehe
