During the first siege of the Alchemist base which was lead by Tokushi Sarin, Gomuun made the decision to transport a very secret project to a remote underground location; a secret facility at the base of Mount Fuuren, which was said to still be an active volcano. Gomuun sent the Sky Base out to shuttle the small ship that carried this project which was given the code name MTP, Metal Tyrant Prince. But after his arrive at Mount Fuuren a small error happened, a wire that lead to a high chemical which keep Him a sleep was ruptured. Project MTP was slowly awaking. When he completely awoke he slaughter half of the highly trained Alchemist warrior that were stationed there. He then took a file detailing both his data and the data of his biological and almost identical elder brother, Tokushi Sarin.
Project MTP was another attempt by the previous alchemist leader to create a homunculus who would serve under the alchemist, but after the failed launch of Tokushi, who was known as Project MTK it was decided that Project MTP would not be released. Although they had decided to not release Project MTP his was just a child and no one had it in them to take his life, so he was keep in suspended animation.
As Project MTP returned to Ginsei a mysterious woman also arrives claiming to be Gomuun's wife who was supposedly eaten by a homunculus. Upon her arrive Gomuun is a little hesitant in believing that it is truly her but after a series of questioning and blood test finally gives in, but she didn't come back just for Gomuun she came back to warn Gomuun of Project MTP and his current plan to return to Ginsei. She is given a high rank without even going through any of the mandatory training and all of her advice is taken even if it is asinine. Because of this problems spark between Gomuun and his long time friend, Duke Seyer.
