Moema, deep black pelt, easily lost on the darkest midnights, exluding her back covered in an obvious marking of green. She was a blur, legs carrying her happily, wind blowing in her pelt and tongue dangling. Her mood had never been so lifted as it was during teh night. "Water.." She huffed and figured now would be the best time for some form of refrshment, not so luckily she foundwater, but with water woudl come guests, and guests woudl mean talking. She enjoyed it, loved meeting new people, but who woudl she meet at night. She'd alreayd had a bad experience with it once, a male whom was all to friendly with her, quickly solved with some easy attacks, but he was a Father, a new Father who didn't knwo what he was doing.

She approached casually, but with an obviosu sense of awareness, her tail was slunk and ears forward, eye's wide and gazing about, she grumbled frustrated with ehr bright green markings, blaming them for giving her away to anywho who may be around.

Lying on her back in the grass only a few meters away from Moema, Palia gazed at the stars. She was tired from a long day of travel and hunting. As a lone cheetah she stood little chance of catching a decent meal on her own. In fact she failed more often than she succeeded, though her success rate was by no means below average, but when she did catch something there was always enough for her. It made life interesting.

Her ears swiveled. Someone was close by. She rolled over cautiously, being careful to make little noise, and sniffed the air. A leopardess. Well, she was in the mood for a little company. Palia stood and stretched her long legs, clearly visible now as she casually made her way to the watering hole. “Hey there. Nice night, huh?”

"Beautiful night." Moema seemed almost unstartled, her ears turned and swivelled to hear the cheetah better, but beyond that ot an inch of her moved. She was nestled all cozy in fornt of the water now, head dipped to get a drink form teh water and then she gazed warmly to the other female. Relaation was needed for this travelilng leopardess. "Absolutely beautiful!." Her eye's clsoe and she takes in a breath.

"The air always smell s so much more fresh around water, don't you think?" She offers a simple question, something slightly personal, an opinion quetsion. She was indeed fond of the air there at night, it made her breath easier and thsu provided a better place to sleep.

Palia nodded in agreement, though she found the repetition of ‘beautiful night’ a little annoying. Yes, the night was beautiful, that was established and did not bare repeating. She loved clear nights like this, since she often navigated by the stars. Or sometimes she didn’t. It really depended on her mood and the weather. Both could be quite random.

As she emerged onto the sandy bank her feet became visible. Her toes were a brilliant yellow orange that seemed to blaze even in the darkness. There was something fiery in her personality too, though for the moment her attitude seemed cool. “Unless it smells like crocodiles,” she joked. “I like your markings. Very interesting. Like a butterfly.”

She smiled, even giggled at the cheetahs joke then eye'd her markings with an annoyed expression. "They're easy on the eye's, but also easy to spot. She sighed with a half smile. Mood shifting a little, but nothing big. "I wish they were real wings sometiems! Wish I coudl fly, be truly free and out of reach of others." She nodded slowly, as if the fantasy was untold, but half existed.

"What is your name.. I'm Moema." He rmind shifted completely and realized she had not even introduced herself, how rude, she scolded herself lightly. She wasn't quite used to being around others just yet.

Palia smiled crookedly and bent to drink. She was quite bubbly, this leopard. As someone with butterfly wings on their back Moema showed that appearances don’t always deceive. Once her thirst was quenched, she sat down and scratched herself behind the ear. “Well that’s easy. If you want to fly all you have to do is run until your feet don’t touch the ground. Or take a running jump off a high place,” she said nonchalantly. She half-glanced at Moema. “My name’s Palia. I’m a traveler.”

Moema watched the cheetah move slowly to the water. "I don't much like the idea of jumping off of.. things." She nods and smiles a bit more. "Palia, such a nice name." She doted lightly, she noticed the annoyance from before on the emphasis towards the night and wanted to avoid that.

"Find anything interesting on your travels?" She asks curiously, she'd met an evil little cub and a few others, she feared she may even meet the cubs Father and unfortunately form what she had heard, it'd not end well. This Angra character didn't seem to great.

"I've met a goddess. Other than that, nothing worth wasting your time with." The way she spoke she didn't seem to think much of her encounter with the goddess. Although she did have some interesting accessories the goddess seemed rather shy, and shyness was not something Palia expected from a creature with that kind of power. She assumed that the goddess she met must have been of a lower order. A small god. "So, where are you headed?"

Moema had never met a God or Goddess at all and she believed the toen Palia carried was inappropriate, Gods deserved a better tone at least, but Moema put her nose in a different area. "I am headed to a pride." She paused. "I don't knwo which, but I want a home." She nodded slowly, lightly, an almost invisble agreement with herself. "And you.. Palia where does your mind take you, any set road?" She asks curiously, head tilting with it. She felt the conversation was just going on forever and her body switched into a lazy mode, muscles relaxing.

Palia openly scoffed at the idea of a pride. Where was the thrill of the unknown? Where was the wind in your face? Where was the freedom? And Moema was a leopard, a species known for their independence. She shook her head and pointed at the sky. “You see that band of smoke and stars? When I need a road to travel, I run with those stars.”

Of course, Palia did not always need a road. She was just as content to wander where ever her heart took her. Sometimes though, having a little direction helped. She looked at Moema with one arched brow. “Why would you want a home? Home is just a place that keeps you tied down.”

"A home is also where I can start a family and settle in a cozy life, and I can easily be free to wander if I'd like." She imagined her pride to be as a free spirited one, a place where she could be individual, but one with the group "Your style of travel is wonderful though, I loved it." Moema was in fact just about ready to be on her way just now, she had a good lot of ground to cover before she could sleep/rest again.

“Of course it is. That’s why I use it,” Palia answered with an aloof shrug. She was feeling quite bored with this leopard herself. Start a family, settle in, bah! How could anyone live like that? Palia leaned forward and stretched out her front legs, curving her body into a kind of lopsided J shape, as if to signal not too subtly that she had grown bored and the time had come for one of them to leave.

Moema sighs softly and relaxs a bit more then stands. "Its time for me to get a move on I think." She shrugs lightly in return and shakes off an invisible layer of dust. "Have a fun night Palia!" She smiles pleasantly and walks passed the female in an abrupt end to their conversation.
