June 3, 2010We have a subforum!
Every member has been officially sorted into their respective groups on the memberlist. If you have an issue with where your lion is, please PM this account.
As you can see the member's list is crying for information. If you would like to change any of it, please PM this account with your change! As well, if you have the information that is missing, please PM that as well! I will be adding images and banners over the next few days to get this place looking spiffy.
You may now make threads and RP in this subforum! Please do so! Activity is more than good.
If you have an RP that needs to be moved from the "rogue forum" or otherplace to this subforum, please see this thread!
You may now submit requests for our cert with your joining RPs! Here lies a certed example of a member.

August 22, 2011The Metaplot has begun!
If you have not received a PM, your character does not have an assigned RP this week. Feel free to contact other players and start and make your own RPs from this point forwards.
For those who have been PMed prompts, you have approximately one week to finish your RP before the next set of prompts will go out.
There is an ORP located here that you will want to post in if you are interested in perks, or to have your character considered for ranking IC positions.

Two new ranks have been added and will be available to lions! For more information, and to try for a rank-change for your lioness, please visit this thread.
As well, the lions are now in a period of Rogue-swap which means your lioness can have a fling with a rogue without having to get mule permission.

September 13, 2011MetaPlot Week Four has begun! This stage may last two weeks, depending on rate of RP-completion. There should only be one more week following this.
Your lioness' should be ICly put into prides following an Umama of their choice. IC following can be done in this thread.
In addition, the pride is voting on whether or not to kick Biti from the pridelands. That forum can be found here

September 20, 2011It is, in theory, the last day to get your votes into the Traitors in the Dust and The Sorting of Groups ORPS.
Get your votes in ASAP. At max, this will be extended until Saturday. However, those that vote by this evening will have two tickets in the raffle instead of one.
If anyone is curious, we're still accepting joining apps during the metaplot. If anyone needs catching up, all the information is available in both IC and OOC updates threads within the subforum.
The plan after this large meta is to continue to hold small events. IC information should be updated at least once a month from this point forwards, and possibly more depending.

October 23, 2011There have been several IC and OOC adjustments and changes within the pride. The following post outlines all of the adjustments and changes that have gone on in the last few weeks, as many of you may have been following. Because most of these changes apply to both OOC and IC, only one, OOC post is going to be made to cover all aspects. So, pay attention!
Matifu is dead. Gakere and Sokoro have pushed through and established their reign. It is clear, that under Gakere’s watch, things will be changing. Perhaps slowly at first, but Gakere is certainly not his father. Kamal has been spared, and has been allowed to continue in the pride as he always has, a step taken that Matifu would never have allowed. Most of the older pride members know, or have seen Gakere as a young cub and watched him leave as an adolescent, as he grew up in the Boneland’s pride. He was Nahmba’s only cub a few season’s past, and she had begged Matifu not to cull the male offspring.
Biti’s cub, Tunda, has been returned to the pride, safely, by Ulaka and a few other member’s of the search party. Special thanks go out to Onaedo, for finding and helping to track the female hyena who hid the cub in the first place.
Matifu has had one last litter, with Njalo’sasa, which has produced “7” cubs. Six are blood related, and the seventh was found by Njalo on her birthing journey. They are half-siblings to Gakere. This is the first litter born in the new lands, and shows the pride is making a comeback.

Member’s of the pride looked lowly upon are now better able to prove themselves useful to the pride with Gakere’s new reign. As such there are now more options for male cubs. They are still considered Lusizi, but have a chance to change this title as they get older. Information on changing ranks as they get older can be found in the rank change thread. As the litters get close to adolescence, there is likely to be a contest for those who wish to become Enda, so keep this in mind!
For those that have been looking for rogue-breedings, a section of clarification has been added for non-natural colors in the Boneland’s pride. This is listed under “colors within the pride”. Be sure to read and understand this. This will become especially true as Gakere’s belief-system slowly seeps into the pride.
The breeding threads have now merged into one, beautiful breeding thread. Not all RPs are up to date yet, but will be added in slowly over the next few weeks. There is also a new system for breeding your females to Umholi using the staff credit system. This should make it easier on both Umholi owners and those ready to RP. On that note, rogue swap will only be OOCly available for the next month. That means, you can post rogue-swap forms in breeding threads November, but you will not be allowed to post them in December without seeing IC consequences occur!
Seeing as several of our members are older, and in the future, there will likely be old lioness’ and lions, the Ritual/Tradition section has had two information topics on death in the pride added to it. These should be read, and understood, for anyone interested in doing an ORP in the future surrounding this topic and/or naming a cub after the dead.
This officially wraps up the meta-plot. Everyone is free to RP as they choose. This does not mean, however, that pride-wide events are going to cease. There will be plenty of ORPs and random-events popping up now and then for the pride to adapt to, but specific characters will not be getting full-plots with brand-new characters introduced.
The owner's list has undergone a revamp! It should be up to date, but several characters have no personality blurbs. Please send these to the mule so they can be added to the owner's list! Thank you! Also, if your lioness is unsorted, you can send 'follows Beru/Simoshele" to the mule as well, and they will be placed in the appropriate area.
