The sewer systems of Inaba have become home to a young girl named Yuki Kiryu. The girl doesn't know that's her name but she has taken to living their after being orphaned and losing all of her memories. At the end of one corridor in a small outcropping of abandoned sewer systems Yuki sleeps in a nest of bundled up news papers. Her belongings, while not many, are carefully laid out for her occasional late night trips into the land above on a small improvised shelf. Anyone who tried to invade the young girl's home will most likely find themselves face to face with a very angry amnesiac girl.

Yuki Kiyru If I were alone..in the forest...would you give me water to drink? A young redheaded girl was curled up in her tiny hovel at the end of a sewer walkway. It was fortunate that the sewers had been for the most part abandoned, it allowed Yuki to spend her days quietly relaxed in her tiny underground home. Stretching out cat like on her newspaper bedding the red head yawned loudly and scratched her head. Looking around she peeked her head out around the corner of the her little sleeping area to make sure no one was there. It wasn't so much necessity as nervousness. The animalistic girl had heard a lot of noise from the night before and it had her on edge seeing as the tiny town was never so loud. Seeing that the cost was clear Yuki reached over to some of her stores of stolen food and drink and grabbed a large can of beer. She didn't exactly know what the liquid was, but she had stolen a lot of it from the liquor store one night when the owners had forgotten to lock it up and it was better than drinking sewage. Gnawing at the top of the can Yuki was working her way through the metal rather than just opening it. She didn't remember anything, she didn't even remember what it was like to remember. So she sat there chewing through the top of the can, and eventually she would break the metal and eventually she would be content to sit in her hidey hole for the rest of the day drinking the strong tasting liquid she had stolen.

Captain Naniyori, Asura of Spirits
"Come here you stinking alligator. You've gotta be around here somewhere..." Naniyori said, taking another heavy drink of sake before throwing the bottle away, walking through the sewers blitzed in search of the elusive 'Sewer Gator' for him to pick a fight with. It would probably mean something if he could take one of those with his bare hands, right? And either way he knew at this point there was no reason in searching for something as a prize for Embryon, the last few he'd captured gone in a matter of time each, all because he couldn't managed to spend 24/7 babysitting the base and no one else seemed capable of taking care of his job but Balmung. "W-what do we have here..." Naniyori grumbled, noticing an unusually high mound of stuff for a random place in the Sewers, secretly a sign of Yuki's presence. He couldn't find the gator, but there seemed to be something around here, and he was gonna catch it...Crocodile Hunter style.

Yuki Kiyru If I were alone..in the forest...would you give me water to drink? A small red headed girl walked quietly down the sewer tunnels hearing a voice from around the corner she stopped and looked out around the corner for a second. Big man...big sword...Yuki began to shy away slightly and then she noticed he smelled like some of that strong tasting liquid she had stolen. He seems to drink a lot because he smelled like he swam in it. He was strong...maybe he smelled her fire water and came down looking for it. Walking out quietly from around the corner Yuki stood out of arm and sword length. "Nnngggh? Nggh?" She grunted out to him a scared curled up posture taken by the little girl trying to show her fear of his intense strength. Taking out a handful of blueberries she stepped closer and held them out for him. "Ngghhh?" She called out questioning, hoping he would take one as her mutual peace agreement. Very quickly Yuki stepped to the right into the little hovel and reached into her piles. Searching around for a moment without taking her eyes off of the large scary man Yuki felt the cold of the bottle. Pulling out the large bottle of stolen liquor and held it out to the big man. "Nghhhhh?"

Captain Naniyori, Asura of Spirits
"There you are you dirty stinki-oh hey, berries. Maybe you're not a giant ferocious human eating crocodile after all. What a shame..." Naniyori said, taking the gift and watching the girl run away from him. It wasn't that he was wasted per say, so much as he'd drank enough...to be utterly out of his mind due to intoxication. Despite this of course he seemed pretty much like his usual self, which probably said something about either his normal attitude or his drinking life, but probably both. "So what's a non-people eating girl like you doing - HEY IS THAT BOOZE!?" Naniyori asked, grabbing the liquor and taking a long drink, practically ignoring the girl. Looking at her a minute later he scratched his chin, knowing that uncivilized people always wanted something in return. "JUIIIIIIIICE. So I take it you what something in return, right? How about a magic trick..." Naniyori lifted the bottle to his mouth again and reached into his pocket, pulling out a lighter. A moment later he flicked the fire up in front of his mouth and opened it suddenly, and a long stream of fire shot down the tunnel as he mimicked a carnival performer's fire-breathing technique. Of course, he didn't have to worry about the fire whipping back, unlike them. "Heh, that was a trick I planned to perform the next time I hung out with the clown. Geist would be pro...pr...Geist would be..." Naniyori paused, sighing again, and looking at the liquor took another drink, this time to shut his own mouth rather than perform the trick again.

Yuki Kiyru If I were alone..in the forest...would you give me water to drink? Yuki eyed Naniyori cautiously. What was he saying? She had no idea... looking down Yuki frowned slightly and looked over at the large man. He was trying to say something and she just didn't understand. Looking at him cautiously when he revealed the lighter. She had one of her own and she fished around in her pocket and pulled it out just as Naniyori lit his flamethrower of liquor. Jumping backwards and grabbing her staff and holding it out to try and protect herself from the fire. It wasn't so much the man... it was the fire something that scared her almost as much as gun shots. After a moment of cautious glances at the big man and after a moment's indication that he wasn't planning to light her up she moved back next to him and took out a bottle of sake. Struggling with the cap; tugging and twisting as hard as she could Yuki frowned deeply and then held out the bottle to the man. "Unhhh...Unh?" She said shaking the bottle in front of his face. She was trying to get him to open it for her although it was quite possible he would just drink it himself maybe he would let her have something to drink...

Captain Naniyori, Asura of Spirits
"Alcohol's bad for you, you know. So is staying in these Sewers, the air is usually slightly acidic so over time it can really wear away at one's health, dampening the immune system." Naniyori took the bottle she was holding out in one hand and reached to his back to grab the large sword, then paused when he noticed her avoiding it. "Oh, it's a...bottle opener..." Naniyori reasoned, remembering a commercial sometime in the past that he'd seen, something which probably didn't mean much thanks to her refusal or inability to speak. Naniyori held the bottle out and swung the sword wide, the blade passing through the top of the glass, and in anyone's right mind it would have shatter in that instant. But instead, a popping sound came a moment later with the top of the drink removed, Naniyori swinging the sword onto his back once again. "Here. You know, you should go to like...Embryon. They have food and stuff. Yeah, Embryon." Naniyori said, nodding sagely as he thought about it, figuring Balmung could use more servants. That damned bunny was still around, and this girl had to be twenty, no, thirty times more useful than her, the Commander could probably think of something to use her for.

Yuki Kiyru If I were alone..in the forest...would you give me water to drink? Yuki took the bottle from the big sword carrying man's hands and raised the bottle to her mouth and took a very long gulp of the alcohol. He kept talking and talking... something... there was something important he was saying, something he was repeating. "Eh-Ehmbriiiiyyyyyoooooonnnnnnn?" She worked the word out and looked quizzically at the large man thinking that maybe she had done something right. She had tried to put together words before and it never really worked out before the big man came down to the sewers. Holding out the Sake to the big man she gave him a fleeting smile and pushed it towards him. "Ehhmbryonnn?" She asked again her mouth forming out the words a little better than before. She was getting better at her very fleeting ability with language but the problem was she didn't know what she might have been agreeing too.

"Embryon. You know what, I don't feel like giving you a choice either...I'm bored. Here we go-" Naniyori said, stepping forward and grabbing Yuki all of a sudden, lifting her and holding her underneath his arm as he grabbed his sword with the other hand, reaching up and slicing the roof of the sewers suddenly. A moment later the ceiling caved and Naniyori pulled himself out of the Sewers with his free hand, up onto a random street in Inaba that was probably going to be in some REALLY big need of repair, and looked around. "Embryon's that way, um...uh...girl? By the way I'm Naniyori." He said, poking himself to emphasize it before pointing at her and saying 'girl' again, then trudging down the street optimistically. A seven foot tall guy on the verge of singing carrying a probably unwilling sewer girl with him was an average sight nowadays, right? Sure it was.

Yuki Kiyru If I were alone..in the forest...would you give me water to drink? The small red headed girl made it back into the sewer system quietly. She didn't understand why she had been taken away the night before but as long as she was back she was happy. Coming back to her little hidey-hole Yuki was about to sit down when she felt the warm embrace of sun on her face. It was not a safe place to be after the last time the large man came into the sewer. Grabbing her staff and pushing the rest of her things into a small bag she had stolen on the surface she made the exodus to another place for her to live. Running completely silently and hopping from side to side of the river of sewage Yuki was looking for a new place to live. Coming to a small abandoned service station in the sewer she stopped however. "Ehmmmbryooooon?" She asked carefully as she looked inside the old dusty glass windows. There was an ancient computer inside but it didn't mean much to her because she couldn't even identify it as anything. Grabbing the door knob she turned it but to no avail, the small abandoned sewage control station had been locked by the last person to leave. What to do? Yuki put her things down and held her staff in both hands. With an olympian swing the tiny red headed girl was able to smash through the window. Tossing her things inside she quickly followed her bag in by jumping into the little station. Quickly laying her things out Yuki laid down underneath the desk and laid her head down. She needed to sleep if she was going to find her way outside tonight and get some food she would need to be rested.

.::~DREAM~::. Once in the dream of a night I stood Lone in the light of a magical wood, Soul-deep in visions that poppy-like sprang; And spirits of Truth were the birds that sang, Dream had made his way to the sewers as per his captain's request. It hadn't mattered wether or not he protested, Gabi was his captain and he had to get the young girl who Naniyori had captured the day before. He had heard she was found in the sewers so it was as sensible a place to check as any seeing as he needed to find her current whereabouts. As he floated down the halls of the small sewer tunnels Dream's mind spun many thoughts. 'Why would someone live in such a place' As he floated down the hall he came to a small area where a large amount of newspaper was laid out like a bed. And then when he turned to look for some sort of trail he saw footsteps in the grimy dusty pathways. Following the small steps he made his way down the sewer until he came to the small sewage control room. Stopping he looked inside carefully and saw a small red head there looking back at him. It seemed the young red head had felt the approach of the pale floating man. "Embryon!?" the girl seemed to ask angrily. The pale man nodded slowly and held out a hand to her. "Yes Embryon." With his other hand Dream pointed at himself still unknowing that the girl had no idea what he meant. Yuki stood up and pointed her staff at his neck trying to back him away and make him leave. Dream looked the girl over, Gabi hadn't been kidding this young girl was very scrawny, it seemed the girl had been having some serious trouble finding and stealing food. Dream carefully and slowly moved his hands. First his hand slowly rubbed his gaunt pale stomach "Food?" Dream then pointed at the young girl and re-motioning food. "You want food?" The young girl eyed the man very carefully and as she was looking the strange man over and as she watched his motions her stomach rumbled. Dream nodded and pulled a small box of animal crackers from his cloak. He had grabbed the crackers for the girl when he was ordered to come down and get her to come downtown. Dream felt that this method would be better than forcing her to leave. Holding out the box of animal crackers he smiled and motioned food again. "Here have these...food...more up there." As the little girl grabbed the box of cookies and tore it open ravenously she watched the man. Dream pointed up to the surface and rubbed his stomach again. As the young girl stuffed the last of the crackers into her mouth she saw the meaning of what Dream wanted. She nodded carefully "Foood!" Yuki exclaimed as she jumped out of the little room and began running up to the surface. It seemed that Dream's method was the best way to get the young girl to follow.
And spirits of Love were the stars that glowed, And spirits of Peace were the streams that flowed In that magical wood in the land of sleep.
