I'm looking for an IC mate for Bitterleaf. Naturally, the buck would have to be part of the Tidewalkers (wow I really need to add a members list). Mostly I'm looking for compatible personalities because I am looking specifically for RP reasons.

In all likelihood:

- This would largely be an arrangement of convenience to provide a figurehead pair for the tribe, more than affection, although I would expect there to be some measure of mutual respect or even friendliness.

- An older/more mature buck would be the better bet, although Bitterleaf may be open to the brash, young type, as she has a weakness for exerting her maternal influences and that kind of effed-up dynamic would be really fun to play.

- Bitterleaf IS going Legendary at some point, and soon, so she'll be a mare and there is that to contend with.

- Your buck's appearance doesn't matter but something that'd make pretty babies with Bitterleaf would be a plus, of course. She's mostly neutrals so that's pretty easy--hard to clash with grey and brown razz

- Bitterleaf would expect her mate to be mostly monogamous and she would be mostly monogamous as well, so if you have a buck you're eyeing multiple flings for, he might not be the best choice--although Bitterleaf discovering his philandering might admittedly make for an interesting story arc. Sell me on it, if you wanna try smile

Interested? Please post your boy and tell me about him as much as you can smile

I will pester you for like. A ton of RP if I pick you so please be ready to go through with it biggrin

Pine-Rooted-in-Rocks has a name that speaks of desolation and hardship. He's somehow been bred to be a harder soul than his flighty father, and would be entranced by tales of a life made worthwhile through challenge and hard work. Naturally he would follow along with a patrol on their grueling march through thicket and muck across the whole of the swamp. When he finally made it to his destination, he'd be sold on his first night of unobstructed stars, crashing waves and a bed of sand.

I'm not sure how he'd pull off a leadership position - maybe he adapts much quicker and more enthusiastically than the rest off the Kimeti brought in by the same patrol. Maybe he's just a little smarter. Maybe he's a natural born leader, bossing around the other initiates or gently advising them (I suppose that gentle would not sell though). Maybe he'd just have a physical advantage, a little extra brawn and a rack of antlers (most of the year, maybe. Do antlered Kimeti shed their antlers?) allowing him to do things others might not be able to do.

Even if this doesn't work out, you can look for him to join the Tidewalkers. I think he'd work out well there.

I should think so! Let me try to wrap up what I've got going with Lost right now, though?
