User Image

(Quick Version)
Build: Slightly Muscled but not intimidating.
Hair: Dark Brown
Eyes: Forest Green
Skin: Slightly tanned, reddish arms.
Scar across the back.
Tattoo's on Arms: Guardian and Tempest
Distinguishing Features: Black tail and leopard ears (Spirit Form Only).

(More Detailed Version)
At first glance, William looks like any normal person who goes to the gym every once in a while. Upon looking him up and down for more than a glance, William's build seems to be more structured and perfected. His build is no more than a fit person who goes to the gym once or twice a week, but his movements dictate careful training and a relaxed attitude. He has a Caucasian skin tone (but reddened arms), earthy brown hair, and forest green eyes. He lets his wild curling brown hair grow no more than three inches.
In the real world, he wears some loose-fit jeans, a plain leather belt, and any sort of t-shirt that he can find. When he is in spirit form, he has a black tail and leopard ears to match. His fingers and toes also have retractable claws that are not good for much more than scratching faces and peeling oranges. In his spirit form, he wears a haori which is missing most of the back and all of the right shoulder. Both his hakama and haori are a dirty black but not pure black. He wears a plain silver necklace that he acquired in 1500 AD from a princess of Europe. A gourd of Sake or Whiskey always hangs at his hip for him to sip from. He has a tattoo on either arm which read "Guardian" and "Tempest" from right to left respectably. He has one scar on his back from when he spared an opponent in a battle around 500 AD.

Personality: He was a very friendly young man who could be called lazy, but other people like him would call him free-willed. He simply didn't see the point in doing something that would be done eventually by the person it needed to be done by, namely not him. William also seemed somewhat unpredictable in his actions, going from a complete rest under some sakura trees in Japan, to a few fight clubs in America. Though this seemed like he was unpredictable, he usually did one thing right after the other. He would rest for a time and cool down only to jump back up later at a moment's notice to do something entertaining. He rarely had friends, but only because he traveled so much. He always had contacts when he returned to somewhere he had once been, but he never had any true friends.

This was all true up until World War I of course. The war made people hate him for his nationality rather than his personality, which embittered him to the point that he lost both his spark to jump up and find something entertaining and his want to travel. He learned how to use anger as a weapon both violently and non-violently if it could be believed. He still enjoyed some treats of life and drank regularly but never enough to make him sick. He had become a calculating lazy fighter by trade, winning his way around the world on bets of his wins. He detested normal work, finding the fight much better suited to him. He did like to have good conversations with people, but he never really wanted to get to know them because of his lifestyle of traveling.

Although he stayed very friendly, lazy, and somewhat of a fighter, he lost his wanderlust entirely after the war. He is a thinker, relaxes in Soul Society under sakura trees, and his fury which he brings forth when he needs it, serves him well. Despite his laziness, he will fight when he needs to and do what he is told if ordered by a superior officer.

Zanpakutou:

Zanpakutou Spirit: The spirit of William's zanpakuto has three forms depending on his mood. When he is feeling lazy, his zanpakuto's form is that of a black leopard with dark blue patches of fur here and there. When he is feeling happy or content but not lazy, his zanpakuto is similar to a nekomimi with tufts of black and dark blue fur here and there. When he is angered or ready to fight, his zanpakuto becomes a mix of both human and leopard (essentially a wereleopard) with the same fur coat colors. When he is angered, however, blue sparks of electricity jump across his zanpakuto's fur here and there. The zanpakuto's eyes are electric blue. The zanpakuto is human sized when human, leopard sized when a leopard, and roughly half again as large as its human form when in hybrid form.

The zanpakuto is female and shares the same personality aspects as William with the exception that she can be flirty (even with him). She acts like a child on the rare occasion and tends to point out what William did wrong, even if he knows it. She's rather neutral when it comes to ethics, but she doesn't like seeing others suffer that don't deserve it.

Inner World: His inner world is a tropical rain forest much like Earth's where a permanent thunder storm rages and rain falls when he's not sad. When he's angry, there is a monsoon. When he's lazy or happy, there is a slightly heavy downpour. When he's sad, the world is dry and there is no downpour. There are several waterfalls to be seen that vary in size and complexity. There is one enormous burnt tree that can be seen from anywhere in the world. It looks like lightning has struck it hundreds of thousands of times but it still lives. His zanpakuto is infinitely fast here and is the whole cause of the thunder storm, for she loves to travel across the world.

Sealed Form: There are two swords, but they don't look like Japanese swords. They look like two short swords in the shape of gladius’. Before William learns its name, the swords in their nameless form have a hilt of azure and black, and a flat-ended pommel of solid metal. They cannot be removed from their sheaths and strike similar to brass knuckles when he strikes 'unarmed'. They shift up his arm when he swings his arms around, but they must be physically locked into place before he can start to swing them around with any effect. He can block with them, but it is risky because an enemy blade can slide off the ends and cut him. Naturally, this means their wielder has to be dexterous to avoid having his arms cut.

(Attained: See Below Posts for Reference Link) Shikai Name: Kuro Hantoresu (Black Huntress). Release Phrase: "Play with your prey, black huntress of the lightning filled skies." (Anata no emono, kaminari no kuroi josei shuryō-ka de purei, sora o ume tsukushita.)

Shikai Description: The gladius’ retreat up his arm until they are covering his hands in what looks like shifting black stone gloves. The black mass takes shape around his fists and coats them in black fur with blue spots up to his elbows. His claws grow thicker and are able to strike things with their razor sharp retractable tips. The blades do the same to William’s legs up to his knees. When he is angry, blue sparks of lightning jump around through the fur and give off a minuscule static shock to whoever is touching them at the time. The fur is part of his skin. Once he has gained Shikai, he can summon a thunderstorm, but he cannot do anything with it.

Shikai Powers/Attacks:
[Not Able] Inazuma Kiba - Mostly he becomes faster because of the extreme speed of electricity now flowing through his body. When this ability is activated, he’s actually somewhat slower and clumsier because he has to get used to the electrical signals that have no target, but he becomes faster and faster the longer he has it active. This state is called Inazuma Kiba or “Lightning Fang” and takes up so much effort to maintain that he does not have a special attack for Shikai (speed is his essential attack). This makes him roughly five times as fast as someone of the same power level. When fully activated (a minute or so after activation), he is as fast as a Lieutenant can move with their Shikai out. The only visual effects of this activating are both a small increase of sparks flowing through his fur and his eyes light up with the glow of a hundred thousand sparks passing through them.

[Not Able] Inazuma no Chi - Once he has achieved Shikai, he can absorb electrical attacks up to the same power level as himself; however, stronger opponents will still damage him to a degree, and has an affinity to electric kidou (half as long to master, 1.5 times stronger). He isn’t as adept at learning other kidou though (takes twice as long to master and is half as strong). There are two visual effects: a) there is an initial flash of lightning that arcs between his fists and feet, and b) there are constant electric blue sparks flying through his fur.

[Not Able] Inazuma Yoroi - At a later interval (close to bankai), he may learn how to coat his skin with built up static. The static stabilizes atoms around his skin (with the exception of his mouth, and keeps his sword from breaking. This pseudo-armor requires all of his attention, preventing him from moving as fast as normal. The armor is strong enough to glide blades past his skin if the strike isn't reinforced by enough reiatsu but at the same time any sharp enough strikes can be devastating. Water that has coated him causes this armor to short out unless he is suspended in midair. Earth will ground the armor unless he is suspended in midair. Anything that directly leads to the ground, grounds the charge and nullifies the armor. Anyone who purposefully grounds this charge while touching him or using something that is touching them in any way receive the charge as if it were a 200,000V stun gun. If this strikes an opponent, William cannot use this ability for at least an hour.

(Not obtained yet) Bankai Name: Arashi no Megami (Storm Goddess). Release Phrase: “Unleash thy fury upon the wicked, and smite them down from thy throne, Kuro Hantoresu.” (Anata no ikari o tokihanatsu nochi anata no ōza kara aku daunsutoraiku.)

Bankai Description: The fur covers the rest of William’s body and makes him take on a form that looks very similar to his zanpakuto’s hybrid form. All he has on as far as clothing goes once this transformation is undergone is a loincloth. When he releases this form, he is engulfed in dark blue electricity which very briefly repels attackers with a powerful discharge if they are foolish enough to attack him while he transforms. His weapons are his fists and feet. When his bankai is released, an enormous lightning bolt strikes him from the heavens, and he glows blue for a moment. His eyes are filled with electric blue light and the sparks jump off into his hair.

Bankai Powers/Attacks:
[Not Able] Inazuma Dansu (Lightning Dance) - William’s bankai allows him to use an improved form of Inazuma Kiba to attain impossible speeds; it is called Inazuma Dansu (Lightning Dance). This makes him roughly ten times as fast as someone of the same power level. He may not be as strong as them, but he makes up for it in speed.

[Not Able] Inazuma no Karada (Body of Lightning) - In a thunderstorm (which he can cause to exist using Kuro Hantoresu) he can use the lightning to charge his powers. Once he has amassed enough energy, he uses it for one of two things: to move just short of the speed of light to anywhere he wishes, or to electrocute his enemies. This is a very powerful and clumsy feat and is usually only used when escaping a losing battle; it can cost him dearly if he attempts to use the travel aspect in battle for offense and it takes time to charge. If he opts to discharge his electrical build-up instead of escape, he can stun and possibly even kill enemies within the immediate area with the discharge (1,000,000 Volts and Enough Amps). He can also travel through the real world using the electric current but if he isn’t careful, he might explode a few transformers or appliances.

[Not Able] Inazuma no Kokoro (Mind of Lightning) - With some training and practice, he can control the flow of electricity, allowing him to control exactly how electricity moves. This also allows him to use Inazuma Yoroi (Lightning Armor) to a lesser extent without any penalty to speed. The armor of Inazuma Yoroi also does not short out when on the ground or doused in water and the discharge upon contact is at his option.

Special Accessories: He usually is carrying around a gourd of some type of honeyed wine and always wears his silver necklace. There is a half-moon pendant that was given to him by a gypsy in Medieval Europe. Upon attaining Shikai, this pendant will glow a faint electric blue. Upon attaining Bankai, the pendant glows brighter. When he is not suppressing his reiatsu, this pendant does it for him by eating the excess. It can be canceled with a thought.

Skills: He learned several different hand to hand fighting techniques from traveling the world. This was both to feed himself and to better himself for future competitions. From common brawling techniques of the Western world to the artistic forms of self-defense invented in the East, he knows quite a few. He’s been alive long enough to learn most of them, but has trouble keeping them separate. He knew how to pick basic door locks so that he could stay in different homes while traveling; however, his skill at this has rusted a little since his traveling days.

Abilities: Currently only able to use #4 White Lightning. He is only just arriving near the point of interest and hasn’t ever been to Seireitei before it. He was like Ichigo in that he was human and still a Shinigami, but his human body died when he was careless in a fight.

Bakudou: None at the moment.

[Not Able] Hadou: #4 White Lightning

Biography/History: William Stark was born in what is now called Germany, but he was born almost 2000 years ago. He grew up a farm boy of the village that he lived in and was known to never like working. Years past and he soon became an adult in age (35 years old), but he did not look like he was much older than 20. More years past, and he realized that he wasn’t aging like the others around him. The realization startled him and he left his village to find out what was wrong with him. He traveled the world for years and years in search, but he never found the answer he wanted.

Meanwhile, he made his living in fights; it didn’t matter whether they were illegal or legal fights. He ended up in prison a lot, but this usually ended with him escaping through either cunning, or outlasting his captors. When he realized he would likely never find the answer he was looking for, he chose to try and influence things to benefit him in the long run. He arranged marriages, pushed trading companies one way or another, and generally tried his luck with making his future. No matter what he did, nothing really changed. He tried speaking with Emperors and Leaders, but they wouldn’t listen to him. He tried becoming part of organizations, but they kicked him out eventually. He was starting to give up hope for life when he was killed in Japan in a fight after both a hit to the temple and a lightning bolt hit him just after that. He had lived everywhere around the world, and he had experienced hundreds of different things life had had in store for countless different lives. He never had family or old friends because he knew they would never understand what he was going through.

After his death, he awoke the next day in the middle of a dirt road, wearing the same clothes as back where he came from. He had simply thought he'd passed out from something strange or sleepwalked, but when he saw how primitive the people lived, he became somewhat weary. He soon found out he was dead and that he'd been taken to a place called Soul Society. He originally had not felt anything strange about the place, but after the third day he realized he hadn't any way to get himself food. He did not fantasize about a longing for food like they said he did; he needed food, for he was strangely hungry when everyone wasn't. Finally, after some debating with villagers of the enormous town, he found out where he could ask for food from. He was told to go to the white towers and to ask there for food. His travel was a long one that had even involved him stealing some food just to not starve, but he eventually made it.

Bankai has NOT been achieved. Not all powers are active upon achieving the required level; some must be trained and are indicated as Not Able or N/A in their above descriptions if not trained.

Powers:
Shikai:
[N/A] Inazuma Kiba (Lightning Fang) - Makes him much faster than other Shikai users, but he does not have a special attack.
[N/A] Inazuma no Chi (Blood of Lightning) - Immune to electricity or lightning.
[N/A] Inazuma Yoroi (Lightning Armor) - Static armor that protects against most attacks but requires full attention to maintain. Can be grounded or shorted out by water if on the ground. Strikes anyone who purposefully grounds it with 200,000V.

Bankai:
[N/A] Inazuma Dansu (Lightning Dance) - Makes him impossibly fast, even for captain level. Basis for last attack or escape attempt (must use a thunderstorm, self-made or otherwise, to charge for use).
[N/A] Inazuma no Karada (Body of Lightning) - Used for retreating or last ditch attack. Exhausted after use but still able to move.
[N/A] Inazuma no Kokoro (Mind of Lightning) - Moderate control over lightning and electrical flow. Allows for lesser use of Inazuma Yoroi (Lightning Armor) at all times.

[N/A] Hadou #4 White Lightning is slightly stronger than normal White Lightning because of his affinity to lightning.

(Obtained but unaware.) True Were-Leopard: William's soul is that of a true were-leopard, much like Evil is a true werewolf. William's body in the real world, however, was not meant to hold his animal soul. Because of this, he was trapped in a single human form, unable to sate the longing to be what he truly was. When he died, his soul was set free, and it attempted to take on a true form. Unfortunately, in its strive to take control, his animal side fell into his subconsciousness where it fell smothered by his human soul. It will only break free once he has amassed enough power to awaken his more primal instincts, namely his Shikai.

Were-leopard Appearance: He actually looks like the exact same form as his bankai form when in hybrid form; however, he does not acquire the bankai's power. He may also take on a leopard form.

Pre-Shikai: Changes into a leopard form or back into a human form when he sneezes.

Were-leopard Powers: He gains some of the abilities of his leopard form such as: slightly heightened smell and hearing senses, a natural balancing ability with tail and claws, and an ever so slight increase in bloodlust.

Were-leopard Drawback: On the rare occasion, he will sleepwalk, and he will be unaware that he is awake and would act like a normal leopard would in some cases. He cannot use Kidou, shunpo or his zanpakuto's lightning specific abilities. He is still as fast as if he was able to use Inazuma Kiba or Dansu because his zanpakuto is physically a part of him and the two abilities are more internal than external.

The Awakening (a.k.a. William's Death)

“Please keep your seat belt buckled at all times while the plane begins to dock,” one of the Stewardesses on his flight said over the P.A. system of the plane. William sat calmly awaiting the plane’s docking procedures. With a strange annoyance, he looked upon the few people who had stood up and remained standing despite the order from the P.A. He didn’t like being restricted either, especially after such a long flight from the States, but he simply couldn’t be bothered to stand up and wait patiently for the plane to stop. He knew all too well that the doors wouldn’t open for another ten minutes, so he turned on his mp3 player for some entertainment. He closed his eyes and waited for the right time to stand.

He could feel the impatience in the person sitting next to him near the isle, but he simply ignored it as a calm mindset fell over him. He loved these spontaneous sparks of inner peace, for they cleared his mental vision indefinitely. All sounds dulled or faded out from his attention, leaving him alone to enjoy his music. “We’re back,” a voice said to him in the back of his mind, but he did not pay it any attention. He felt as if he were floating through the air on his back. A hand shook him lightly and he was ripped back to reality.

“Excuse me sir, but you need to leave the plane now. We’ve landed and you’re the last passenger on board.” The person was one of the Stewardesses that had gone to check the plane for any stragglers like him. With a nod of understanding, he began to get off the plane. His mind still groggy from the trance-like state he had entered, he stumbled up the passenger ramp and into the airport’s main body. A quick trip to luggage claim, a hailing of a taxi, the exchange of Yen between hands, and the turn of a door knob led him to his home in Japan.

It was nothing special; a simple single’s home complete with living room, bedroom, kitchen and dining area, and one bathroom. His earnings from fights were more than enough to afford him some niceties here and there like a custom built shower or his high-tech living and bed rooms. He lived like he wanted and when he wanted. It had always been like this, with the exception of the high-tech parts. He set his things down in his bedroom before preparing a quick meal of ramen for himself while he remembered his very long past on the world.

He had eaten as an adviser for a few rulers, but never was he believed before it was too late. Khan, Lionheart, Napoleon, Nixon, and even Hitler had had a conversation with him at one point or another. Khan had been somewhat difficult because of the language barrier, but he had made his point clear enough to grant him passage away from the dangerous man. No matter what he had tried, nothing he said had been taken seriously by the rulers. He gave up trying in 1989 when he completely stopped caring for the loop of events which was called history.

If there was one thing that had always gone in his direction as far as positive aspects of his long life, he had to agree with himself that it was his accommodations. Khan had granted him a Yurt for a night before he was sent away unharmed, Lionheart had provided him with passage to and from England, Napoleon had shared some of his best wine with him, Hitler had not killed him or hunted him, and Nixon hadn’t had him arrested. He was sure he had done at least something convincing for each, but it had never been enough.

He drank the soup out of his bowl of noodles before getting ready for bed. He had a fight the next day, a big one to say the least for there were a good fifty grand at stake. He wanted to be well rested for his return to the swift striking fighters of the East. He refrained from doing his normal pre-bed exercises for this very reason and instead went straight to bed.

The next day, he ate a light breakfast before heading out to his afternoon fight. The fight was an approved fight by Japanese law, but the betting was not. All of the bets were taken care of hours before the fight even began so that the operation looked much like a sponsored and legitimate fight. He arrived to the joy of his “fans,” for they always loved to see him in good shape before a fight; he usually got a small cut of the bets from them when he won as a ‘thank you.’ The money was right, and he passed through the crowd of rich businessmen eager to make more on the fight. He was a favorite and was treated to good drinks by those that had profited a great deal from his success.

He left the place with a few waves to those that had promised a small bonus for a good fight. William jogged the long route to the actual arena where the fight would be taking place. Normally, such fights were frowned upon or even prohibited, but they were permitted only because they brought large crowds and money to the hosting town. He arrived at the arena to cheers and shouts from local fans. There weren’t any camera crews at the fights because of their potential brutality, but they almost always made the headlines of the newspapers of the town and neighboring towns. Before entering the building, he noticed a dark thunder storm only a ways away.

William collapsed on one of the chairs in his changing room to calm himself. He was full of energy, but he didn’t feel like doing anything else other than sitting down. He again entered the peaceful trance that he had had on the plane, and it wasn’t long before a knock at his door told him he had a fight to do. Adrenaline coursed through his veins as his previous energy reentered him. He changed into his fighting trunks and gloves before heading out to the cheering crowds. Someone stood on the ring’s edge dressed in a black hakama, haori, and a sword was sheathed on their belt as well. The strange sight made him wonder if he was seeing correctly.

Shaking his head, he waved to the crowds and jumped into the ring where his opponent was already waiting. “Praying for victory?” the man asked him jokingly.

William almost didn’t notice the comment, but he managed to come back to reality, “I do not pray for victory, I earn it.” The person that had had the sword was now gone from the ring’s edge. “Good,” he thought to himself, “that would have been a distraction.” Thunder bellowed as the storm outside took life.

A few moments later, he found himself blocking blow after blow of his opponent. He slipped up for a moment and was punished for it by several strikes to his abdomen and one to his jaw. He barely managed to prevent his opponent from grappling him before giving him two warning strikes. The blows he had received had been strange and unusually powerful. “Something’s wrong, what is this pressure I feel?” He knocked away a blow at his face before sending one to his opponent’s chest.

He felt sluggish and strange, so he called a time-out. He shook his head to clear it while he drank a little water from a water bottle he had been given. He handed the bottle to his temporary helper before turning back to the referee to indicate that he felt better. “Your opponent chooses to have no more time-outs until the end of a round. Any questions?” William shook his head, and the referee checked the fighters and indicated that they continue.

The fight went on for two more rounds; he had almost been knocked out by his opponent in the second round because he had felt a sudden push downward from somewhere nearby. The third round was halfway done and it wasn’t looking good for William; something was pushing him down, but he didn’t know what it was.

Suddenly the black robed person with the sword from before appeared on the post behind his opponent, and he couldn’t help but stare for a split second in wonder of how they were up there without anyone saying anything. The move had been the wrong one; his opponent landed a perfect strike to his left temple, sending him flying. He stayed on his feet, but he knew something horrible had just happened.

He had his hands up to guard more of his opponent’s strikes, but only the round bell tolled. “What? But I’m still standing and the start of the round was only a moment ago!” He spun around to find a scene he had not expected at all. He saw his opponent standing triumphantly over his body, but he was looking on from a few feet away. What was more, a chain seemed to be leading from his body on the ground to where he stood. “What the hell?!”

The person with the sword that had been standing on the pole hopped down from where they had stood and began walking towards him. “Who are you?” he asked of them as the thunder outside got louder. The person merely smiled and beckoned him over to his body. He took a step closer to his body, but as he did this there was a tremendous cracking sound before William felt something very powerful strike him down. He flew at a tremendous speed toward the cage and struck it with a resounding clang.

He fell to the floor with a loud thud. It was a few moments before he was able to see or even move again. When he could finally move, he found the black robed person standing over him. “I’m sorry,” he said before holding out a hand to help William up.

William cautiously lifted his hand to the man’s in case there was too much pain. He winced when his shoulder gave him some protest, “S-sorry for what? Ow….” William said before he stood to look around. He jumped almost off the ring when he saw that he now wore black robes. What was more, the chain was gone, two swords were sheathed on his arms, and a black tail made itself known when he almost fell over.

He looked over at his body that had been on the floor and almost puked; the lightning bolt had struck his head and left through his left leg. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much leg left to speak of. His mind locked down at what was going on before he finally fainted from a spontaneous exhaustion.

The Arrival

"Woaw!" William exclaimed when he twisted in midair to land on his feet from a ten foot drop. His breathing was quick and almost panicked. "Where the heck am I?" he asked no one in particular. He stood up straight and looked around, attempting to place where he was. He stood on a dirt road at the end of what looked like an old town in the morning light. People were slowly waking up in buildings around him while he walked into the town. The place was a mess and very much a slum of some sort. Off in the distance, he could see several white towers extending into the sky next to a very high plateau. A passerby noticed him and shook his head in disgust before he continued on his way with a pail of water.

William was really confused. He let his head fall into his hands in an attempt to think of what exactly had happened to him. If it wasn't for the sudden clank of metal on his wrist, he wouldn't have noticed the sheathed gladius on his left arm. When he reached for it to examine the weapon, he saw that another was on his right arm. "Where the heck did these come from?" He saw something black where his normal jeans were and gawked at the black hakama and haori he now wore. They were elegant and very much both as light as a feather and as soft as one too. "Gods, what's happened to me?"

Something snaked around his left leg and disappeared in a flash when he looked down. He felt something touching the bottom of his hakama and spun around to see what it was. The black thing stayed in sight for a split second before it spun in the same direction as he was going. Thinking to catch it, he spun the other way and saw a thick black thing covered in what looked like black and blue fur. Sudden realization dawned on William, and he reached behind his back to find the base of the thick black tail on his rump. "I have a tail.....I must be going crazy." He scratched his head but his hand hit something soft and furry. He grabbed at the thing and pulled on it, "Ow! Oh don't tell me....ears? I have cat ears too?"

William sighed and began walking toward the white towers. With the exception of his newly developed tail and ears, he looked just like the guy from before he was brought wherever he was. He found out he was going the right way when he asked one of the less hostile looking people of where he was. He also found out a few things about himself; one of which was that he was a Shinigami while another was that Shinigami weren’t too welcome in what he was told was the 80th section of Rukongai. People went out of their way to annoy him in subtle ways like running close to him to get dirt on him or setting their foot out far enough to trip him. The tripping never worked because of his tail, but the dust and dirt were unavoidable. A particularly buff looking man was a little more confident and had attempted to shoulder him while passing William. A static shock unlike any he had ever experienced arched between them, knocking both William and the man back in pain.

The man got up with a few twitches while William shook his head to clear it from the thunder bolt of static electricity that had struck him. Moments later, he found himself again walking toward the white towers. His stomach growled from neglect the entire day, and he was glad to be standing outside the giant gate by nightfall. A behemoth of a man stepped aside when he approached and a regular sized door opened to let him through without any questions asked. He was amazed at the drastic change in the state of living between outside the gate and inside it; everything was spotless and a few others dressed in similar getups like his walked around. He finally smelled something familiar as far as food went, and like a starving animal followed it to its source.

Continuation of suggestion by Mazra on the vague "Impossible Speeds" comment.

I'm trying to set up a balancing speed for the "Impossible Speeds," but since I haven't been here and seen what might fall under impossible, I don't know exactly what to put. For now, it's very, very fast because he hasn't even reached Shikai. Consider that he doesn't have much more power besides speed (at least for now) and think of that balanced against every other character's powers.

He's supposed to be a passive person who doesn't care much anymore for events. He helps if it would benefit him or if injustice is being committed.
