Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner As Luo walked into the arena, the sun beat down on the robes and hat he was wearing symbolizing his position in the mist village. In truth, he wanted no part of wearing the ceremonial vestments, but apparently it was considered uncouth to show up without the proper kage attire on. Walking into the arena, Luo at last shed the robe and hat as they landed to the side. As the crowd cheered, Luo sighed. He didn't get it at all. "How is beating each other up a way to promote village peace and unity among the great five? If anything, a loss by a leader or any higher ranking ninja is more likely to incite attacks." As Luo pondered this, his eyes wandered up to the large screens above him. Seeing his name and a picture of him, he looked to the next screen to find Jade's. He remembered her visiting his village a few months ago, and while beautiful the woman had an air of not being as delicate as she looked. As his eyes narrowed Luo seemed to mutter, "This better not be the Daimyo's way of trying to set me up with someone. Wouldn't be the first elaborate attempt at something of this nature from that man." Closing his eyes and breathing deeply, Luo waited on his opponent. As the air wafter through his hair, and he cleared his mind of all the yelling and cheering from the stands, he found himself at peace and ready to 'perform' to some degree. If nothing else, Luo figured it would be fun.

Tares Demascus (Uchiha) Uchiha Bloodline| Mist ANBU Captain| Jonin Commander|Bloody Mist LT waded through the crowd to find his assigned seat in the bleachers at the arena. He sat down as the crowd cheered around him, looking closely down at the field, LT could see the spec off in the distance that was Luo. LT slowly reached into his pocket and pulled out some items, like a travel thermos full of his world famous coffee. Looking at the other item in his hand, a half eaten crumble pizza slice. He decided he didnt want it, so he threw it in the field. Where it accidently twisted landed on Luo's head. lol Chakra Points= 85-2 = 83 Katana= 1 Exploding Smoke Grenade= 4 Makibishi= 24 Shuriken= 40 Light Bombs= 2 Fūma Shuriken= 1 Steel Wire=110ft. {I didn't even realize they started this >.<' Goodluck Luo, tho I think you got this xP}
Jade arrived at the stadium, as usual, a little late. It looked as if she just woke up, which was truth. Jade squinted her eyes against the sun, stepping out into the large area. A torrent of noise smashed into her, and she was just in time to see a slice of pizza hit Luo Ushio in the head. Jade raised an eyebrow, realizing it was he who was her opponent. This would be no cake walk, then again Jade would not have enjoyed a murder. A smile spread to her lips as her legs carried her forward, bringing Luo into view. He was indeed quite handsome, though that wasn't what Jade was here for. Besides, in her situation, that was the last thing she needed. "Hello Luo-kun, it has been sometime eh?" Jade had an array of weapons attached to her as she ignored the jeering/cheering of the crowd. It would be about time for her to get serious, no fun and games here. As usual, Jade wore little to no clothing, though it was only so she may move unhindered.

((Haha, I was wondering where you were. Good luck to you too! But we'll see who wins (: )) Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner As Luo stood contemplating his match eyes closed, he felt something hit his head. Openin his eyes to see what had landed in the dirt behind him, Luo's eyes narrowed on the pizza as the man conjured water to rinse his hair. Staring up into the stands, Luo seemed to point in the general direction of where it came from. As he pointed in the stands anyone watching and astute enough to under stand him could see him mouthing, "After this match, whoever through that is next." Walking towards the center of the ring as the tapestry which hung around his waist swayed in the breeze, Luo could tell how...ruffled the Tsuchikage looked. He remembered her mannerisms being a bit informal for his tastes, and by the looks of it could gather she wasn't far from waking up. Still, the woman was still able to retain a sense of beauty. Nodding as she spoke, he smiled politely. "Yes it has been Jade. I wish you good luck in this tournament, as well as luck on Iwagakure. Out of principle, I refuse to kill another kage, hopefully you hold this principle out of pity for the other village as well. Still, I'm excited for us to not hold back in this competition."

{{Yeah this is gonna be good!}}
Jade's smile faltered, she really wasn't the Tsuchikage anymore. "I suppose you could say I retired Luo, though I shall certainly not attempt to kill you, nor would I hold back." With that, her arm reached back into her shuriken holster, and let it fly through the air. It was aimed at his chest, but honestly, she didn't expect him to actually allow it to hit him. Her entire body readied itself as she felt her adrenaline surge, her entire being preparing for one hell of a battle. She knew his chakra reserves were as high as hers, possibly even higher than that. Her eyebrows furrowed in concentration as she waited for his reaction.

((Haha, of COURSE it is! Zane bascially rigged the matches so he got more bang for his buck on the matches haha, and this one basically is supposed to be one of if not the best one.)) Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner As Jade seemed to cause her smile to retreat if for a moment, Luo lamented over what she had stated about her retirement. And as she reached behind her, Luo's instant reaction was to jump back in order to give himself some room. It was a good thing too as a shuriken came flying towards him. Reaching quickly into his kunai holster, he only had enough time to bring up the kunai in a fluid finger swing, catching the kunai in an upwards position with the shuriken still spinning around it. In truth kunai weren't exactly his throwing weapon of choice, but it was basically a mandatory facet of every academy students training. However, by the point of hitting the kage rank one shuriken or kunai in the beginning of a battle usually served as an open invitation to begin the match, as opposed to an actual attack. As the shuriken spun Luo smiled lightly once more. "I see, so the position was not what you expected I'm assuming? Or were the duties too taxing?" As he finished his sentence, he swung his right hand letting the shuriken fly off of the kunai in her direction. As his hand swung back down, he let the kunai go towards her right leg. And although these attacks seemed bothersome to most, Luo could already see in her eyes it was almost too easy. It was why he rushed in after the long ranged attacks with his arms trailing, his legendary speed bursting forth as people realized why he was classified as a speed ninja first and foremost. As the crowd seemed to get riled up at the opening attacks, Luo jumped high above the woman spinning down horizontally with his right-foot outstretched to catch her left shoulder on his decent. He would test the goddess of flash, and even provoke her into showing him this famed flash step of hers. Maybe, just maybe, Luo had met someone who was as fast as he was.

{I know, he's such a butthead xP}
Jade couldn't help but grin. Of course, she merely twisted her body a bit to dodge the shuriken and kunai, and used both of her arms to catch Luo's above her head. She shot her arms forth, merely pushing him back. Finally! A man who was possibly as fast as her. Perhaps Jade would have to delve into her Shunko, it would be wise. Jade was called the Goddess of Flash for a reason. Her hands smashed together as soon as they were free from Luo's leg. She took a deep breath, and brought her hand to her mouth, creating a circle shape with her hand. At first, the line of fire was small, though it rapidly grew into a large fire ball, and it launched itself straight at Luo. Jade's affinity over fire allowed her to use techniques such as these with ease, and her speed allowed her to do this. After the fireball would possibly contact with Luo, that is unless he did something to stop it, Jade reached into her special kunai holsters, and launched them forth, one from the right and one from the left. She directed them around the fireball via wire, which was so thin it was barely visible. Not only that, Jade was using the fireball as cover to hide her shuriken. Too bad Luo was extremely younger than Jade, well about 11 years.

Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Fire Release: Powerful Fireball Technique) Description: Uses a high amount of chakra which allows the user to breath out a large portion of flame. Extremely powerful, this Katon seems to possess a denser mass than most Katons. This would explain its intense potency and explosive nature.

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner As Jade pushed him back and let fly with a fire jutsu, if she were able to see she would have seen him smile. Catching himself on his feet Luo found no time to maneuver in any other way. This wasn't to say that Luo hadn't thought of two ways to avoid the fire altogether, he was just comfortable using the fire to his own advantage. Rushing into the fire with his hand outstreched, water swirled violently from the water molecules in the air to form a ball of water that was compact, but far from weak. Slamming it into the water in order for it to cease its rampage towards him. As he did, he released the ball as it rocketeted forth through the fire at the jounin level of chakra Luo needed for the attack to not only stop, but go through the fire. As he let it go, Luo rushed in after it yanking on his first weapon senbon sakura. As he did, he threw four senbon upwards at a diagonal angle as he lowered his body for a horizontal attack, using the remaining fire as cover and the Tsunami-Tama as a distraction if it didn't somehow connect.
Tsunami Tama no-jutsu (Tsunami Sphere Jutsu) E-S Rank: From academy level until chuunin level, a source of water is needed for this jutsu. This jutsu creates a sphere of water that cascades like the sea during a tsunami. It requires a medium level of chakra to pull the water and hold the large amount of pressurized water in ball form. When it hits a person, if controlled and kept together, it can cut the person's skin, and at jounin level can even rip through steel like torrential water. If let go on contact, or at a distance, it explodes, sending the person spiraling backwards or upwards. It sends them flying ten feet with minor wounds at academy level, at genin it breaks bones (1-4 max), and at chunin it rips flesh. Once again at jounin level, it can even rip/slice through steel like torrential water. At Kage/Sannin level it is capable of ripping through crystals as strong as diamond like butter. Can hurt both ninja severely if other ninja uses Raiton: Raikou Kousen no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Lightning Beam Technique). Must have learned Mizu Soujuu (Water Manipulation) in the academy to use this technique.

{Ah sorry I took so long! I was out with some friends!}
Jade tugged on the wires, altering the direction of the kunais, which would now be behind Luo, and aiming towards his back. To get herself away from the senbon, water ball, and Luo attacking, Jade quickly stepped back after releasing the wire, diving to the left, and rolled, and then continued to circle around the area. She was able to dodge all the attacks, while formulating a plot of her own. Jade first performed simple hand seals, being enveloped under the ground. Her hands mashed together once more, activating another jutsu. Jade 'swam' to a different location, and popped up from the ground, wielding her kusarigama. She spun it once to gain momentum, and then launched it at Luo's right side.

((Haha, don't worry about it. P.S.- You called me Zane in your post lol.)) Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner Continuing forward in his already lowered position, Luo rolled under the wires to allow them to pass over him, as well as the swipe from an unexpected weapon in Jade's hands. Leaping to his feet and surveying the field until his eyes found her, Luo put his first weapon back in its original position. Opening a small scroll pouch the length of a katana, he twirled violently as he bit his thumb and ran it across the scroll paper. As he did, katana of all different shapes and sizes flew out upwards into the air, falling to the ground and sticking into the grass. As one-hundred specialized katana littered the field, Luo held his hand out to the side as he caught the last one plummeting downward. Facing Jade, Luo's face seemed almost placid and at peace. It was an expression he wore often, however in battle it seemed to have a different look to it. As he lowered his stance slightly, Luo nodded at Jade as if to say 'again.' It was rare that he found the chance to even use the style because it was often unnecessary however for Jade, Luo made an exception for the opponent he found worthy of the Infinite One Sword Style.

"So this is that infamous style of his," mused a soft voice, sitting comfortably in a specialized box above the stands. Although the nobles belived that their boxes was equal with his, architectural studies revealed that Tensai's box was actually taller due to the depth of the arena's foundations and other overlooked factors.
The box was decorated in blue's and purples with a nice indigo umbrella covering Tensai from the heat, as if his creamy white skin couldn't stand the heat. He wore ceremonial robes over combat gear, something he had long since adapted to. With his match already over, the sannin decided to observe Luo's battle. Although much older than most combatants Tensai seemed quite youthful as he smiled, cooly observing the battle. It was much more entertaining than his own, which ended quite quickly.
A flick of his hand tossed silken wisps of black hair over lithe, muscled shoulders. The light caught the miniscule powedered minerals in his hair, bringing exalted sparkles around his crown as he gazed downward. His amber irises easily tracked the battle while slender digits tapped the wooden viewing box in anticipation. With a simple, imperceptible nod to the stands, rows of mist villagers rose and screamed at the top of their lungs.
"GO LUO-SAMA!"
The sound was defeaning as they stomped their approval, spooking nearbye citizens as the frenzied villagers cheered for their Lords. With a soft chuckle Tensai quieted the Kirigakuran villagers, waving a small fan to the stands as they happily observed the battle.
"I hope the boy does not dissapoint,"

{That's what I get for double RPing xP} Jade glanced around at the vast multitude of weapons around her, realizing this must be a taijutsu technique. Jade blinked once, and her sharingan was activated. Jade could see everything in minute detail, and would learn what she could by observing him, as well as save her own a**. She swung her kusarigama a few times, beckoning Luo forth.
