Chibiusa has red eyes because Setsuna is her mom.
Lonely solitary Pluto with her crush on Endymion.~~
Plus Pu is always so close to her, treating her almost as her own.
Coincidence? I think not.

Well, Luna is purple and Diana is pink.
It's not such a far shot from Green to pink.
It's anime, nothing really makes sense.

Actually, did you know that Usagi's hair was supposed to be pink? It was Takeuchi-sama's original design. And at one point, I believe Queen Serenity had lavender hair.

Inspired by the title of this thread, I have an idea.
Pluto was a drug dealer behind the scenes. Here eyes are always red from smoking weed. Chibiusa spent so much time with her that she started to do the same thing. And her hair is just dyed.

O_o how awful to even suggest that Setsuna would betray Neo Queen Serenity that way!! A die hard Sailor Moon fan like myself just cant stand for this kind of talk. Luna has blue eyes, and artemis has green eyes, and diana has red eyes, did Setsuna and Artemis get together to??? If you read the last manga you would see that in the last chapter, Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion (Usagi and Mamoru) Get married and make love, resulting in her being pregnant with chibiusa. And Sailor Teal....thats awful -_-

I saw a picture of Mrs. Tsukino in the artbooks with pink hair and red eyes. I'd find it if I could, but that's where the idea came from. The anime screwed it up, I think.

I agree with you Emily-kun In the 1st volume artbook (i own), and first edition original manga that have the pullout posters (own also) there are a few pictures of Usagi where she has pink hair, but Ive never seen her with red eyse? But chibiusas always had pink hair and red eyes. Cant we all just except sailor moon the way it was ment to be?

Interesting theory. Usagi was originally suppose to have pink hair, ectect. But why wouldn't they just carry this concept of changing Usagi to a blonde with blue eyes over to Chibi-Usa.
And this is where I see your point.
But as a firm supporter of MamoruxUsagi fandom, I'll chalk it up to anime/manga logic. Genetics and Gravity hold no water.

Actually the pink hair and red eyes are supposed to represent a bunny since Usagi and Chibi-Usa's names mean rabbit.
On the subject of Pluto being the mother: I've read too many fanfics about this subject (one claimed that Rei and Mamoru had hooked up and Rei used her senshi powers to change the baby's eye color and dyed her hair). I wouldn't mind having Sailor Pluto end up being Chibi-Usa's mother just because of how they played up Pluto having a thing for Mamoru in Sera Myu.
