So i own soul silver and all my pokemon are at LV 45, we beat the elite four and now i'm on the champion.....I can get past his dragonite with ease, but his aerodactyl is wiping my team. ANY TIPS??? I keep restarting if I die and here is my team:
Nidoqueen-45: bite, earth power, earthquake, double kick
Typhlosion-45: swift, flame wheel, lava plume, flamethrower
Girafarig-47: psychic, zen headbutt, strength, psybeam
Gyarados-45: ice fang, dragon dance, surf, hydro pump
Ampharos-45:signal beam,discharge,thunder shock,thunderpunch
Lugia-45: Ectrasensory, rain dance, hydro pump, aeroblast
so what do u guys think?? Should i die and continue to train and defeat the elite four all over?? or just keep trying and hoping for luck.

Seems good, don't use lugia until areodactly comes out, use rain dance then hit it with hydro pump

I recommend some different movesets for that teams of yours...
Here's some suggestions..
Nidoqueen - Bite, Earthquake, Double Kick, _______
Explanation and other choices: At the moment, it's difficult for you to win BP at battle tower so elemental punches are out of the question.. I'd recommend Body Slam so you could paralyze Aerodactyl's great speed or Iron Tail so you can get a good super effective hit on it. Sadly, your Nidoqueen was evolved too early so you weren't able to learn Crunch.
-Body Slam was learned at level 23 so Heartscale is needed. -Iron Tail is given to you by Jasmine I believe.
Typhlosion - Sunny Day, Flamethrower, Solarbeam, Focus Blast
Explanation and other choices: That's the typical moveset. You could also try Hidden Power and see what type your Typhlosion has. Mine has ice type Hidden Power so it hooks me up with great coverage. If you get a chance in the future, it'd be good to breed a new one with Extrasensory. Smokescreen is another good idea. Lowering the opponent's accuracy helps alot.
- Solarbeam is available in Goldenrod Dept. Store - Focus Blast is available in Goldenrod Dept. Store - Hidden Power is recieved once, so make sure you know what type you'll get before it's use. - Smokescreen is one of the firstt moves Cyndaquil learns so Heartscale is needed. - Sunny Day might be obtained after you finish the league. I forgot..
Girafarig - Psychic, Agility, Baton Pass, Shadow Ball
Explanation and other choices: This moveset is more for hooking up you Ice carrier. Agility as much as you can and baton pass the speed boost to your main ace against Lance. The speed boost should help you outrun Aerodactyl. You could also teach it thunderbolt or Thunder for some nice coverage. Reflect, to help your other pokemon take some physical attacks Aerodactyl is sure to dish out. Trick Room, to give your slower pokemon the first move.
- Agility was learned at level 14, so Heartscale is required - Baton Pass was learned at level 24, so Heartscale is required - Shadow Ball was received by Morty - Thunderbolt is a game corner prize - Thunder is obtainable in Goldenrod Dept. Store - Trick Room.. I can't recall where it is obtained..
Gyrados - Ice Fang, Dragon dance, Waterfall, _______
Explanation and other choices: Ah. I believe we've found your ace. It's better to have a physical moveset with this popular water poke. Waterfall will gain more power with your Dragon Dance boost. The last move is always the hardest to fill. Earthquake is good. Bite has Psychic and Ghost coverage and causes flinching. Headbutt is good neutral damage and also causes flinching.
- Waterfall is an Hm you recieved before getting to the Indigo Plateau. - Headbutt is taught by some dude in Ilex Forest - Earthquake is.. somewhere.. unless you used it on Nidoqueen - Bite was learned at level 20
Ampharos - Discharge, Signal Beam, Light screen, Focus Blast
Explanation and other choices: This Ampharos should do alot better in battle with that moveset. Sadly, you're a few levels off from Power Gem. But Light Screen hooks up all your other pokemon with some protection from Special attacks. Discharge is super effective against Lance's Gyarados and Aerodactyl. You could also teach it Rain Dance and Thunder. (Thunder's accuracy becomes 100% in rain) Hidden Power is also a good thing to think about, depending on it's type. Cotton Spore or Thunderwave is good for slowing down Aerodactyl.
- Light Screen is in the Goldenrod Dept. Store (Maybe I'm confused with Celadon) - Focus Blast is in Goldenrod Dept Store - Thunder is in Goldenrod Dept store - Hidden Power is obtained once, so think hard before it's use - Cotton Spore and Thunderwave need Heartscale in order to get them back. Although, you may have gotten a Thunderwave Tm somewhere.
Lugia - Extrasensory, Recover, Hydro Pump, Aeroblast
Explanation and other choices: I don't usually approve the use of legendaries. And this case is no different. But, since it's probably too late to change this bad boy out, why not try Recover. Healing is always good. Thunderbolt or Thunder combined with that handy dandy Rain Dance is nice too.
- Recover needs a Heartscale. - The other moves suggested are Tm's..

You think hes got some of those TM's Tentae. eek Hmm, could always use someone thats got a stronger ice/water attack. 3nodding Or atleast use a stronger move, like Ice beam rather than Ice fang me thinks.

Everything I suggested is obtainable by that part of the game. Or she can get them with a simple Heart Scale in Blackthorn City. Some of the Tm moves I mentioned are available at Goldenrod City's Dept. Store. 3nodding

Oh, then he'll be fine. xd Shame he'll have to fight the E-4 again, but it will make his team stronger. Thus making Lance less of an issue. 3nodding

With those movesets the E-4 should be easier to go through too.
I've updated the info and stated how each suggested move is obtained...to the best of my memory.. if anyone knows if I'm mistaken, or remembers where to find the Tm's that I've forgotten where their location is.. feel free to inform our friend linx here.

If Lance is using his Aerodactyl, then you're only one round 1...I forget if you already have a Focus Sash/Band at this point, but try putting that on your Ampharos to have it try and survive the first round.
Should it survive the first attack, the ensuing Discharge would then hopefully KO Aerodactyl, provided you don't have a nature that would lower it's special attack...
Also, Tentae's strategy would work wonders.
