Hello everyone!
I have a question for you all. What do you do with your offerings?
I have 3 offering dishes. 1 for the God, 1 for the Goddess, and 1 for the Fae.
I put special things in each, but idk what to do with the offering when I want to put a new one in the dish. Should I find different parts of the yard and put them there? Or something else cause idk what to do. :/
thanks!

I usually empty my offering dishes into one big bowl, then on one of the Sabbats I will bury them out in the woods.

thanks :] So you just put all of your offerings into one big bowl? Or do you only have offerings for a certain God or Goddess?

I have individual dishes for my god and goddess that I make the offerings in. Then after they have stayed there for a week I empty both bowls into one bowl that is taken out and buried at the next Sabbat.

Currently I don't have a yard to bury things in, so I'm not sure what I should do with an offering instead. If I made a drink offering, I suppose I could just pour it onto the ground, though.

Scubas_girl Do you have any woods near you? Maybe you can bury them there :] There's a nature trail a few minutes from where I live, I suppose if I had to, I could take an offering there and bury it.

This pickled vegetable...Depending on what your offering is, you could just throw it all into a compost heap in your yard and use it to nurture your garden. ((Assuming you have a yard and a garden.)) ... could kick your a** !!

I like that idea. If I ever start a compost heap, I would probably do that.

I have a small outdoor altar in my backyard made out of a few tree stumps. That's where I leave mine.

I live in an apartment in the middle of the city, so disposing of offerings in the woods is not really an option. Usually I leave it on the altar for a day, and then liquids I can pour outside, but solid food I either leave on my balcony for the squirrels or birds, or I respectfully throw it away, depending on what it is. I don't like throwing it away, but I really have no other option for some items.

People have been doing it for thousands of years, right? It helps keep their memory alive. I made a bracelet to honor Ganesha, as well as a lion bracelet to honor Sekhmet and to represent the Leo zodiac sign. I also tried to make a drawing of Sekhmet, but it's not up to my standards, so I'll try again. The initial sketch I made... well, she looks like someone from the Lion King, haha. Cute, but not what I was going for.

I can imagine your neighbors aren't to happy about you leaving food out for the squirrels and birds and other city dwelling animals that could be considered "pests".
