There are so many websites out there that showcase portfolios of famous and yet to be famous designers and artists. For example, major sites like the Behance Network, DeviantART and Carbonmade .

I have plenty of designers to mention, i respect quite a load of designers & artists,.they are listed in the fields that i love. You might have other interests, for example : I love typography, and illustrations. You may like fashion designing and photography.

So, who do you respect?

PS : i know ALOT about designers, artists, tutorials, and inspirational sites all over the internet with my 7years of experience in the field. If you want me to have a 'roundup' of the best stuff every two weeks in this subforum. Let me know, post saying "Blacvamp, we want roundups"

Archan Nair has his own way around his illustration, you can figure out that it's his work on art by just looking at it. His unique style and flow with color is impressive. And guess what? He's from India!

Si Scott's Work is recognized all over the world. Don't believe me? Check out the link, it will tell you exactly what i meant.

Then there is Alex Beltechi, i respect this man so much, not only his typography is fantastic, but he even tells us his secrets to about all his projects. How? in the form of tutorials! Where? his tutorials are all in here!

I love Milton Glaser's graphic design and illustration works. To me, his work inspires me to do better. He is most famously known as the person who designed the I heart NY sign.

I have a ton more people who inspire me but they aren't as well known, or they aren't exactly designers, but instead... Animators, illustrators, and or just artists.

Dave McKean definitely is a person that has done a lot to my outlook on art, techniques, and motives. His work is astonishing, dark with a subtle hint of just something else. He's famous for his work on comic books/graphic novels, but should not be stigmatized because of that.

Tim Sale also mainly is a comic book artist, but his retro-esque work generally just speaks for him. I love his very own style and his eye for what has been, that feeling of "pin-up" in every single one of his illustrations, and the details even though the coloration tends to be very flat. He works fantastically with this.

BLACScott Marr brilliant illustrations and photo manipulation, you can see how much of time he has spent on blending objects together and making such amazing collages.

I'm rather fond of Brett Helquist, myself. You might recognise him from the "Series of Unfortunate Events" books. His style is very unique and quirky, and I feel he's managed to find that place between stylised and honest that's so hard to get to. I also admire his precise use of colour and line, which is something I really need to practice.

There are others, but i'm tired and drawing blanks right now. Maybe later~

He is know alot, but I love Yoshitaka Amano's work. Just the way he draws is fascinating. Wish I could draw like him!

For graphics, I like Andrew Hart. He makes mostly brushes and stuff for your photoshop/lightroom, but I still like what he does. It's epic to me!

I could actually go on with this...

Coelasquid is one of my current favorite artists. She's currently working on the show called "Ugly Americans" if I remember correctly.

Another artist I'm fond of is B1nd1. Her style amuses me and comes off sometimes as whimsical, and light.

Yoshitoshi ABe's art has also always caught my eye.

These aren't people anyone else would know, since I know them through a graphics forum, but I really respect Glass, Strife, Geiger, and Hutzon.

I love Geig's digipaints, and Hutzon's just all-around awesome - his typography is love.
