I just realised he wasn't on here. Ten is great and all but NewWho started with him.

I actually quite like Nine, especially the second half of the season. He regenerateds just as I was really getting to like him. I know Eccleston only ever signed on for one season and doesn't really seem like a Doctor Who fan but I would have loved one more season of Nine.

So, anyone else have an opinion on Nine? Love him, hate him, miss him?

I liked him. he was a good doctor. If you watch some of the other things Christopher is in you can see bits of his doctorness peep in. like in The Seeker: The Dark is rising. He is the villan but he delivers a few lines that make you think OMG its the Doctor.

I love Mr. Big Ears. There's something about him that fills me with joy. He was a fantastic Doctor. Hahahaha! The Seeker. The Rider pretended to be a Doctor. It made me giddy.

He was also the only reason I went to go see G.I. Joe in theaters.

I like him as an actor too. He's amazing in 28 Days Later.

I saw Parting Of The Ways on Monday.
And, I have to say that the Ninth felt...too short.
I really do feel that he should've lasted a bit longer.
I mean, Tenth is great, no doubt. But Ninth had his own charisma. Something special.

I think we was the angry/sad Doctor. Most of the Doctors are somewhat happy but Nine was just coming off of the war and he was kind of a bit cranky because of it. He was always somewhat quick to jump on people before Rose convinced him to 'save everyone' or at least try to.

I think he was cool, and Eccelston knew how to play up the weird mood jumps the Doctor seemed to have. All the New Who Doctors seem to do that really...

I quite honestly love the ninth doctor. His portrayal of the Doctor was simply fantastic.

On a side note, I still have an accent when I say that. XD

There is just -so- much to love about 9.

-Rose and 10 never would've been without him.
-9 really seemed to care about Rose and acted on his feelings, maybe a little more than 10.
-His energy! When he got excited, that was it! He gave up more readily than 10 but the waves his emotions took were larger. I loved it.
-He was cool. If you didn't love leather jackets before, now you do. ;D

D; I really miss him though. Everyone watches/rewatches 9 more since he's the restart of it all. I loved it so much and hate how easily he went. Even though he was always somewhat angry, he really had that overlaying joy that Tennant lacked. (Though Tennant was made of bad-assery.)

Favorite ninth doctor conversations (all from the same episode surprisingly)

Jack Harkness: [pointing his squareness gun at the empty people] Okay, this can function as a sonic blaster, a sonic cannon, and a triple-enfolded sonic disruptor. Doc, what you got?
The Doctor: A sonic... er... oh, never mind.
Jack Harkness: What?
The Doctor: It's sonic, okay? Let's leave it at that.
Jack Harkness: Disruptor? Cannon? What?
The Doctor: It's sonic! Totally sonic! I am sonic-ed up!
Jack Harkness: A sonic what?!
The Doctor: Screwdriver!
Jack Harkness: Who has a sonic screwdriver?
The Doctor: I do!
Jack Harkness: Who looks at a screwdriver and thinks "Ooh, this could be a little more sonic"?
The Doctor: What, you've never been bored? Never had a long night? Never had a lot of cabinets to put up?

The Doctor: Don't drop the banana!
Jack Harkness: Why not?
The Doctor: Good source of potassium!

The Doctor: Sonic blaster, 51st Century... weapon factories at Villengard?
Capt. Jack Harkness: Yeah. You've been to the factories?
The Doctor: Once.
Jack: They're gone now, destroyed. Main reactor went critical, vaporised the lot.
The Doctor: Like I said, once... There's a banana grove there now. I like bananas. Bananas are good.
[Later]
Jack: Nice switch.
The Doctor: Thanks. From the groves at Villengard. Thought it was appropriate.
Jack: There's really a banana grove in the heart of Villengard, and you did that?
The Doctor: Bananas are good.

This made me laugh. I need to rewatch this episode.
Now I'm hungry for bananas and it's all your fault!

Who doesn't love his accent when he says 'Fantastic'?

I just wish he'd been around for more than one season.

Ah well.
