The Home of Vocaloids Homo Vocalistius: 'Vocaloid Man' is a term used for the Vocaloids on a wide spread. They are humanoid androids that are capable of emotions speech and the physics of nature. At one point, they were only a mystery, unknown to them as even existant. Their kind was slowly seen and now, they show up in many common areas. Naturally, they live with one another with others near their species such as UTAUloids and many others. They strive to learn what we know as we do toward them. They are amazingly easygoing and are very kind toward the human race. They currently live in a remote area where they can live and prosper like the humans can.

The night sky was clear, not like back at home for the poor -loid. This orphanage for -loids was quiet, and so quiet. He was staring at his reflection in the mirror, vocal cords still exposed and sparking. He opened his mouth again, only to find a faint voice, so weak it could hardly be heard. He wrapped it up again when he heard a knock at his door. Peeking out, he saw a black haired individual who was staring back at him with this most serious expression. He cowered a little, but soon opened the door.
"Hello, you must be Satsujin, right?"
The boy gave a faint nod.
"My name is Kanas Mato, I'm part of the Maintenance crew here in our little city. I was told by a concerned Vocaloid that you were having problems speaking?"
He shook his head trying to speak so they didn't have to bother with him, but with no luck. He sighed. and gave a nod.
"Alright, we're going to take you to see the other two crew members, my brothers."
The boy nodded and followed Kanas.
As Kanas left the room, he looked over at the Military-loid that he requested to follow him, "Let's go, Kai."

The gray-eyed military-loid gave a nod. His face was blank and his body was rigid. He gave no notice and just simply complied at command. The open sleeves of his coat revealed just what kind of military the -loid was, an E Series. Straight up military, never was supposed to be the entertaining variant.
Kai gave no eye contact with the other -loid. He didn't see the need to do it in the first place.

Satsu looked over at Kai for a moment, but then straight again. He could hear the other kids playing but when he walked past with the E series Military-loid and Kanas, the noise died from the room until they were outside. Kanas looked up at the sky and then headed to the car where there were two others waiting.
One had long black hair with red streaks, he was wearing a white button up shirt, only partially buttoned and Baggy black pants with dress shoes. He looked very bored, but serious all the same. He appeared to be as blank looking as Kai, but he was actually killing time by zoning out. When a hand was placed on his shoulder, he looked over and got into the car.
"Go ahead and get in. That was my brother Rave, Maren will be in the back with you and Kai here."
The silent boy gave a nod and got into the back sitting in the middle.
The silver haired boy sat quietly on the other side and smiled, "Maren Mato, nice to meet you."
"Raven Mato...sup?"
The boy gave a confused nod

Kai got into the car after the younger -loid did. He didn't seem to acknowledge the presence of the other two mechanics. Then again, it didn't seem like he was going to acknowledge anyone was there in public at the very least. Motorized clicking could be heard from his eyes. They were adjusting to the local lights and the calculations were being made for the best possible settings.

After the long ride, Satsu was lead out of the car and was taken inside with the others. He couldn't help but be nervous around Kai but he decided not to ask questions. Rave looked back at the Military-loid and nodded his head indicating for him to follow. He was going to pull another all-nighter with the E series.
"Don't forget to wear your bullet proof vest." the elder brother smiled.
"...He's not that bad, but I may need your lab."
"Huh? Why?"
"Bulletproof glass" He walked off but stopped to wait for Kai.
Kanas sighed and looked over at Satsu who followed. The two brothers got to work.

Kai exited the car. He opened his coat and pulled out a combat shotgun. Usually, when said lab was mentioned, there was trouble to expected. Something that may or may not have to be killed. Either the -loid was dangerous or in case they went berserk. It didn't mater much to Kai, it could have been him for all he knew.
Kai started to load the weapon before putting it back inside his coat.

Rave shook his head, Kai never remembered the fact that he was working on him. Those damn eyes were hell to fix. After the accident with one of the other -loids, he was getting a little uneasy around Kai. He put a toothpick in his mouth and sighed, "Mom always told me the silent ones were dangerous...but I don't think she ment this..."

Kai knew that the technician was talking about him. The military-loid just gave a blank look over to Rave. It was more of the "I heard that" sort of look to him. Kai didn't move much or seem to change his expression but it just that feeling around him.

Rave gave a blank stare in return and walked off to the lab. He put on his vest and other protectives and sat down to wait for Kai. Working on his systems had been hell on earth...but this was getting hectic.
As for the other two brothers, they were getting nowhere with this kid. No matter how many times they tried to fix the vocals on the poor boy, he still had no voice. Satsu looked a little troubled. He felt bad that he was of no help to them like this.
"Is there anything you recall?"
The boy shook his head. He didn't remember why his vocals were cut...was it so he would never be able to utter a word? He wondered but said nothing as usual.
"I'll try to tap into some memory banks...see what I can find." Maren was bringing over a system which made the boy pale.
Before they knew it, the boy was pushing past them and running away.
Kanas looked worried, "Kai! We need you out here!"

Kai followed Rave into the Lab without another word. For the most part, it was routine and nothing really special. Kai placed himself on standby as Rave worked with his programing. Of course, then there was the call from Kanas.
Kai reactivated and got up. He turned and got off the work table after unplugging himself from Rave's station. After that, Kai took out the shot gun and headed out to where Kanas was. He stood ready for orders.

Kanas sighed, "Satsujin ran off and I need you to go looking for him...I'm worried."
"Bring him back safely, but if you need to, disarm him and shut him down" Maren added, "Take the Ayu and Bass with you, no acceptions."

Satsu was just outside of the area and was looking around for a place to hide and climbed into a tree to hide. He closed his eyes. That system thing caused him enough trouble. A flash of that woman came to mind and they opened again, he climbed higher into the tree hoping that would work better.

"Acknowledged," Kai gave a nod and then left. He wondered how dangerous the younger -loid was if it may take three Military-loids to send. A three against one wasn't usually fair unless it was one of those berserker series (E being one of them). If this -loid was a berserker, Kai would have enough on his handle on his own just trying to fend the -loid off.
Meanwhile at the kitchen, the an A series was preparing some late night dinner. She was pretty green and from the looks of her outfit, used to be part of one of the larger "tribes" of the Junkyard. The unit had colored eyes, unlike Kai, and was practicing some facial expressions while cooking.
There was a knock on the door that broke her focus. The unit placed the pot on low heat and approached the door with a butterfly knife ready. She opened the door and gave a blank stare only an ex-Military-loid could give. "E-163, what is your objective here?"
"I have orders from Kanas and Maren. They want us and Bass to track and capture a -loid. He needs to be brought back to the labs safely. We may disarm and shut him down if necessary," Kai stated with a flat tone.
The unit gave a nod, "I'll retrieve my weapon and meet you at Bass's shortly."
Kai nodded and headed off to Bass's room.
