How does this roleplay work?
This roleplay is based on Greek mythology. The ultimate goal of the roleplay is for each mortal character to eat five courses of ambrosia, which is sufficiently much for them to ascend to godhood. To get ambrosia, you must acquire an artifact within the roleplay itself. The roleplay is divided into five 'rounds', at the end of which one course of ambrosia becomes available to any player who has successfully acquired an artifact. I will be posting in this thread at the end of each round.
Rounds are concurrent, so even though you may be on round four, you can still roleplay with someone who is in round one at the same time. This allows anyone to join the RP at anytime(round one). Rounds last 2-3 weeks.
What exactly is required to get an artifact?
Artifacts can be acquired in a variety of ways, but mainly through the gods and godesses(NPC, played by myself or other editors) handing out tasks to players with artifacts as rewards. However, good(and evil) deeds may be noticed by those same gods and rewarded with artifacts, regardless of specific task completion. Artifacts are also hidden all across the world itself, and in the posession of the visiting gods and demi-gods. But be careful, stealing from the gods can have nasty reprecussions...
What are the RP Rules?
Keep it PG13, two posts per week(two sentences each), and all characters within the RP begin as mortals. You do not have to roleplay and follow the actual quest if you just want the edits, you can just idle around until the round ends, although it is unlikely you will be eating ambrosia without any artifacts. You also do not have to get the edits to proceed to the next round, if you just want to roleplay.
How do I get the edits that are offered during the roleplay?
Keep a naked base link active in this thread with your original order for the starter clothing. When each "round" ends, I will post here to let everyone know that its time for character update edits, along with pricing. You may then choose whether or not you want the edit, want to repeat the round, or continue forward in the roleplay without it.
Can I roleplay as more than one character?
Yes, you may play through the RP as many times as you want.
If I roleplay as more than one character, will all my characters be included in the free scene edit at the end of round five?
No, just one. Please make a note of which character you want in the final scene. However, for the other edits offered during the roleplay, you can have as many as you want so long as the characers in question have successfully acquired the artifacts attributed to the edits.
