i'm rather curious as to what this is all about <.< it can't be another RIG, because they're still selling the last one, i think.
WAIT. maybe it has something to do with Mother's Day! maybe it's their parents!
EDIT: holy crap, all the Cash Shop items in my inventory are sparkling!! O_o like the MCs, the RIG items, the EIs...found this when i decided to put on the Gold Sparkles from Promageddon last year.
EDIT2: even the Aquarium items! (but they don't sparkle in the fishtank...which disappoints me)
EDIT3: they even sparkle different colours depending on what kind of item it is!

did some research (because i'm bored and have nothing better to do XD), and things are pointing towards the source of the sparkles being Saiph and Hatsya's parents, since apparently there were two new star SDPlus dolls released with the latest RIG, and one says it's sparkling mysteriously and the other says it's glowing XD you can't see either of their faces, and they only have one pose.
so the item sparkles are organized like so:
Pink = Monthly Collectable
Grey/Soft Blue = Evolving Item
Yellow = Cash Shop Item
Bright Blue = Aquarium Item
Rainbow = Chance Item
fun fact: if you look at the comic, you can see that Saiph is an EI, while Hatsya and Twinkle are chance items XD

...well that's boring and a disappointment. but i'll be hopeful, because you never know. they might tie it into a mini-event.
besides, why the heck would the make a comic based on this? kinda silly.

If they're starting comics for IE's, then they should do comics for friggen MC's or something. ffs I'm going to be pissed if its a cash shop thing lol. You all know how I am with cash shop things. XD

it is pretty lame, but I do like that they were thinking of the buyers who were getting scammed buying a cheap shop item instead of the real thing from scammers. I like that ^.^
