[NPC] Saiph said that it's them!
I am wonder who are them?
Oh, check out in the Marketplace and your inventory, since certain items became sparkling.
Plus, on a further search, I have found out which ones were effected:
 - Monthly Collectible Items
 - Cash Shop Items
 - Evolve Items
 - RIG or Chance Items.
 - Aquarium Items
Who are them?

This is an interesting development. I'm very curious to see what exactly the plan is with this, but whatever it is, it means that there will be plot!

...But their avatar is sparkling! Could this be the dawn of the long-awaited animated items?

I do hope the first ever animated item is not a cash-only item. Although it probably is. <:[
I actually don't want animated items. I feel like it'll be weird. Very non-gaia.

All my aquarium items are glowing, too, even those I was lucky enough to get from the daily chance... could Sen, Ove and Gino have come home, and brought something mysterious with them?
EDIT: The falling stars don't seem to be feeling well now that they're sparkling, right? What if the dust is (temporarily) going to affect our items, and eventually our avvies, in a horrible way, leading to a spring or summer event where we fight the extraterrestrial evil that mutated them in order to transform them back (and win fabulous prizes!) Maybe this is a update to ZoMG! Maybe our own items will be trying to kill us!

except the Zomg! people said that the Zomg! plot would not affect the normal gaia plot. It wouldn't work, anyways; people go through Zomg! at a different pace, so those not finished would be incredibly confused.
