You know Gene would have all the stupid ones and Fred so owns a Mudkip. Melphina needs Lopunny though.

Flaming Lotus Petal XlI Yellow-kun I could see Fred owning something really flamboyant, like a Roselia or a Bellosum. He'd upgrade that s**t to Porygon 2 at least. Gene would totally own some kind of dog pokemon. Arcanine I think.
I dunno, he seems like the kind of goofball who ends up catching stupid ones like, caterpie and stuff. Or, he'd arrange a deal to buy a super pokemon and get ripped off and end up with a caterpie.
