I saw this funny argument on an entertainment website. It was advertising the trailer for Eclipse and while most were saying "OMG this is going to be the best movie eva!" One person wasn't having any of that.
My Car's Name is Sunny!
Hate to break it to you...but these vampires are lame. Lestat, Nosferatu, Louis, and Blade are better because they can fight and they don't sparkle in the sunlight.
...and Rob Pat isn't that good looking girlies...
...as for you Twilight moms...if you were men lusting at Bella you'd be arrested. Just keep that in mind.
...and Edward is abusive.
Twi-Mom
Beg to differ. Edward is 109, not exactly jail-bait. Even Robert is old enough to be cougarized without penalty : )
My Car's Name is Sunny!
Whatever you say Twi-Mom. I noticed how you said nothing about anything else I wrote. You must secretly agree that Rob Pat isn't that good looking and vampires that sparkle are lame...and the fact that your little Eddie is an abusive boyfriend. Way to blindly follow a trend.
...I forgot to mention that Stephanie Meyer writes like a freakin' twelve year old.
Twi-Mom
Only responded to your opinions that can be disputed by facts. Whether you think RPatz is good looking or not, Edward is abusive or not, SM writes like a child or not..is YOUR opinion and your are entitled to that. My opinions differ than yours very much, I took offense to the idea that lusting after Robert was illegal or immoral somehow. You seem pretty worked up..what gives with that? Don't like Twilight and its fans? Then why are you watching the trailers?
My Car's Name is Sunny
Because vampires were only liked by "weird people" in the past...but it's trendy now, so it's okay to like them because everyone does. Stephanie Meyer can't write worth a darn (as said by Stephen King)...though sometimes I try to give the trailers a chance...but they're always lame. Trendies will like anyone as long as it's popular, so it doesn't matter what I think, does it?

You're good at keeping cool in an argument, aren't you? That was pretty good.

Epic win on your part. I know exactly where you're coming from too.
I'm begining to make my love of musicals into my "guilty pleasure" because they've become so trendy. I hate that fact so much. I kid you not, most of the kids who did the school musical at my school last year did it because it's the "cool" thing to do. While I, who's loved musicals my entire life and has a better singing ability than most of the trendies, have been shut out two years in a row. stare

What I really hate is when I'm in a conversation and I say that I like vampires the response 99% of the time is, "So, you like Twilight?! Me too!"

Does anyone else think that Twilight moms are extremely shallow? I mean, I heard one say, "I love my husband, but I would melt for Edward." Gee, how do you think that makes her husband feel? I really have to give my hats off to those husbands for puttiing up with it.

Metheshrew Haha, that wasn't my argument, but that person said everything I was thinking. 3nodding Then my compliments to the writer. Also, no man should stay married to someone who would prefer an abusive fictional character to him.

And how many of them would wind up in counseling and forever banned from being near a young female at the very least if they were to admit they found any current teen sensation hot and openly admitted it. I bet the hypocritical bitches would call the cops in a heartbeat, and let's not get into the objectifying of a character forever trapped in a minor's body gonk

Guys, it hurts me to say it even with the dignity of a true vampire fan but... Vampires aren't real (Or so the public thinks... And... It's not been scientifically proven)
But the better thing to say is the "original" vampires. Because Meyer's copy-cat hacking technique has infected everyone to be infected! She copied from original vampires and reprograms them into her own bullshit ! Who's ever heard of a vampire... WITHOUT FANGS! That woman is sincerely and utterly CRAZY !!!

Does anyone else find it disgusting that Twimoms are constantly treating the cast of the Twilight films like pieces of meat yet whenever a younger girl falls victim to older male fans the 'Oh stop being a nasty old pervert' comments get thrown around? O_o

Does that mean that Eddie is a ***** for being in love with a seventeen year old girl? They're in love with a *****?
