Name:; Audrey Collins

Age:; 17 years old

Birthday:; November 8th

Sign:; Scorpio

Blood Type:; O

School:; Meadowview High School

Favorite Foods:; Cinnamon rolls, pasta of any kind, mashed potatoes and gravy.

Hated Foods:; Anything remotely mushy - cooked vegetables in general! Weird animal parts like cow tongue.

Hobbies:;

World of Warcraft -- Originally, it was impossible to wrench this teenager away from her beloved MMO! The idea of the Negaverse was great and all, but raid schedules don't allow for free time! I mean really! But as she became more and more addicted to the real-life game Charonite offered, she was eventually tossed from the raid rotation, and finally, the guild. She still plays, but the obsession is lessened. She still loves the lore and the stories of the game, however, and follows it like a hawk. One character in particular speaks to her, Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, the Banshee Queen of the Forsaken. Almost fancifully she applies this ideal to Queen Beryl and thus dedicates herself to her work even further, thinking that she is serving her dream monarch through the methods of the Negaverse.

Watching Movies -- With exceptions of a few movies that blow science and mathematics out of the water (she's looking at you SciFi Channel Originals!), Audrey will watch just about any movie. She can't afford to go see things when they are new as much as she would like, but her DVD collection is growing slowly and her Netflix subscription is abused with much affection. Thanks to Aree she is developing a slow love of romantic dramas and chick flicks, but her true love will always be action movies and shamefully - Disney.

Re-Inventing Style -- Before meeting her very best friend Pasha, Audrey wore mostly dark colors, muted pastels, nothing interesting. With the introduction of each new friend she reinvents her style just a little bit more. Want to give her a makeover into your style? Go for it, she loves to experiment! Audrey will admit readily that she's not a bastion of fashion, she simply is as she is. This leads to spending a great deal of time trawling the local Goodwill stores for adorable clothing that might have been discarded to add to her growing wardrobe. It helps that one of her friends is also a chronic shopaholic with too much time and too much money on her hands, with her own ideas on how Audrey should style herself. Originally, and even still, she was all about covering skin. But as her confidence in herself grows, more and more t-shirts and pairs of shorts along with shorter skirts move into her wardrobe. It's very rare to see her looking the same way twice, she's always trying something new!

Numbers -- This is her one true passion in life, and they are like a second language to Audrey. She is absolutely gifted in any form of mathematics, though unfortunately it doesn't stretch too far over in other academics. Sciences do come easier to her than other things, but sadly her grasp of poetry and literature is miserable at best. But you betcha that she will be the girl laughing uproariously at the most obscure math jokes on XKCD! Sometimes, when alone, she will sit and simply enumerate in one of her various notebooks, thinking of how the numbers could fit together - theoretical mathematics.

Virtues:;

Emotional Mute Button -- Not to be mistaken for simply being emotionless, Audrey is simply skilled at not revealing her thoughts or emotions unless she wants to. She would be internally screaming at you and all you might see is a polite smile and hear a calm voice firmly asserting herself. Something that the young woman prides herself on is the fact that she has never let anyone see her cry. In fact, in general, Audrey does not cry unless it is very late at night and she does so quietly with little mess or noise. She views this as her greatest asset, and when things get emotional she clings to the reason and control that her mind provides.

Analyze, Don't Rationalize! -- There's the easy way to do things, and then there's the perfect way to do things. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out which this young lady goes for! If possible, she will want to see a problem from every corner and logically work through things to the very end before even taking action on it. Audrey likes to be precise, and will sacrifice timeliness for the exact answer the first time around. It makes people less likely to come to her with human problems, but if there's ever a serious question requiring an unbiased, well-thought answer, you can bet that she is your girl!

You Catch More Flies With Honey -- Something that confuses poor Audrey Collins the most, is the fact that people she meets on the street generally like her, and nobody can really say why! They simply respond to her questioning with with the simple idea that though they can't say why, they just like Audrey! Equipped with a massive sense of humor, irony, and a generally sunny disposition, how could you not like this smiling, bubbling girl? Though she is rather shy, and tends to blush awkwardly rather more often than is considered charming, she manages to pull it off somehow. With her growing corps of close friends, Audrey's confidence has risen considerably and this late-blooming flower is fully opened to the sun now, revealing the lovely person she always has been, luring people into her circle of friends with her naturally honeyed ways.

As Linarite, this manifests itself in that she is incredibly approachable. She's always willing to help educate you in an area you might not be familiar with it, should your captain be busy (or crazy)! Afraid to talk to the queen or the general king? Don't worry, Lina will give you a push in the right direction when it comes to keeping things from getting out of hand. After all, she knows what buttons to push for the former, and the latter responds well to respect. So while not so innately likable as Audrey Collins, Lina tries hard to win the camaraderie of her fellow Negaversers. Senshi? No effort at all, she doesn't care what you think of her, unless your name is Castor!

Flaws:;

Denial is a River in Egypt -- This is her greatest, and perhaps most obvious flaw. In her mind, Audrey has convinced herself that that people sometimes need to die for a great good - namely some of the less savory citizens of Destiny City that she deems 'unworthy'. However, no one has yet made an issue of the fact that losing her own life is absolutely intolerable, making it a contradiction. Simply put, Audrey lies to herself very, very heavily. She lies to herself so well that she even believes almost everything she tells herself. She truly believes that Charonite wants to make the world a better place for everyone involved, though none of his actions have demonstrated this. Also, she believes that there is a dividing line between the part of her that is actually 'Audrey', and the Negaverse officer 'Linarite', so that the more distasteful things that she does do not impact her psyche on an everyday level. Or so she thinks. On a less serious level, it's demonstrated in the fact that because she finds Ursula attractive and alluring, she must obviously be a giant whore. Never mind that she's not slept with anyone other than her husband for quite some time!

The Road to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions -- Generally, sometimes even when acting as Linarite, the bluenette almost always has the best intentions! They just tend to backfire in the worst possible ways without any urging on her part! An innocent evening of not wanting to get kicked in the ribs and talking with Sailor Castor ended in a kiss that eventually broke both of their hearts. Accepting Ursula's friend Khaldun as a reluctant date from prom set her self-confidence back several ways to hell when she realized that he was Hematite, and he was not remotely interested in her after that. It made sense to her to break into Fallon's room in the middle of the night to make sure she wasn't a Zodiac senshi, but didn't take into account how this would torture her friend. She strolls around Hillworth looking for her friends Elzo and Zac without thinking about what this will do for her reputation, though she doesn't think much about this. If the road to Hell is paved with good intentions, Audrey probably has a six-lane highway set and ready for her!

Best Thing Since Sliced Bread! -- There is a thing called 'hero worship', and Audrey has it in spades. It's applied liberally to the Negaverse, and sometimes losses baffle her, and cause her eternal enmity. How could you lose a battle when you are a member of the finest organization on the planet? It makes absolutely no sense! This applies itself to her normal human friends as well, and once you receive this label from the teen, it is nearly impossible to remove. You can do no wrong in her eyes, no matter how much wrong you actually do! The problem is that this is a very hard standard to live up to, and can sometimes make a person feel like they are being constantly judged. She doesn't mean to do it, it just happens!

On the Flipside -- Opposite to analytical and self-controlled, is what happens when these break down. Though she has ample control, it is sometimes possible to push her past her brink. Questioning her self-told lies until they unravel is the fastest way, however any emotional turmoil in her heart is enough to do it (see: the battle against Sailor Castor). When pushed past her breaking point, Audrey's entire existence is akin to putting some Mentos in Diet Coke and getting the cap back on before the eruption. The cap flies off, and the plastic shatters in all directions causing more collateral damage than considered reasonable. This usually manifests in extreme anger or extreme sorrow, paralyzing her for days or causing her to lash out at anyone nearby. When this happens, Audrey isolates herself from the world for days and does not allow anyone to come near her. Lately, this has been happening more and more, forcing her to distance herself even more emotionally than before.

Note on the Linarite/Audrey Division:; This deserves its own place, because it does not fit in any neat little category and is something that needs development.

Most people will tell you that they are a different person in the workplace than they are when not at work. It's usually someone more serious, more business-minded and less likely to want to be a social person. This sits true with the 'division' in Audrey's mind. She feels no guilt anymore for the lives she takes, because it is her job and it is something 'Linarite' must do. Audrey doesn't go around killing people, so why should she obsess about it? It is similar to what Demy and Schee have, only it's a conscious division. Audrey shifts the blame for everything bad onto her Negaverse persona, who has good reasons for doing what she does, and it's perfectly alright to do bad things.

Hey, you!

The virtues look pretty solid, I think. I do think you should add another one, but I also love symmetry. =D Perhaps something about her being a wallflower at times? She can blend in easily when she needs to? She can make the hard decisions? Choosing to leave Castor and sneak into Fallon's room to check her starseed are pretty drastic decisions. I think that Audrey is capable of doing the harder thing because she knows that she has to because, at the end of the day, her allegiance is to the Negaverse. A trait that discusses that might be appropriate there.

In 'Denial' you say that Audrey thinks of those she murders as killing those who deserve it. So how does she rationalize Barren Pines? I think you might need a line in there about how wide her definition of those who are "unworthy" has become. I think that this trait is good, but the way it is written, it kind of sounds like a virtue? Simply because this lying to herself is sort of what enables her to love her civilians friends and then kill people their age at night, easy peasy! I'd highlight the darker aspects of this trait and how it negatively affects her psyche and how it threatens to unhinge at any moment all of the pretty bows she has tied on her separate lives. What would she do if those lives blended?

I think 'Best Thing Since Sliced Bread' is pretty spot-on. Dig it.

In the final flaw, you say, "It's not hard to force her past the brink of reason on emotional issues." To me, this seems a little opposed to her first flaw which talks about how skilled she is at clinging to reason and masking emotions. Is it hard to push her over the edge, or isn't it? Clarify to show how these traits coexist.

KAY. That's my two cents. It's very early in the morning here, apologies if it doesn't make sense. You can always IM me for clarification, dahling. heart

You Catch More Flies With Honey -- The fact that she is "innately likeable" makes me a little leery. How it's written makes me assume that EVERYONE she meets likes her, not matter what. Does she try to make herself likeable and beloved/friends of everyone in order to hide what she does for the Negaverse at night? Is it her security blanket, adding to her denial of what she does? Liiike, people she meets and likes = worthy, do not attack and those she doesn't know/dislikes = unworthy to live?

Also, how does this affect Linarite? I doubt that the senshi she attacks don't like her after getting hit with that giant baton-stick of her's. XD

The Road to Hell... -- How does she explain the fact that she kills the 'unworthy' for the Negaverse? You explain that it's for the good in the previous flaw, but then go on to say that she lies to herself, and that there's a "line" between Audrey and Linarite. If LINERARITE is the murderous one, is that how Audrey copes with the guilt? That's how Demy/Scheelite handles himself. How does Audrey/Linerite's denial differ from the way Demy/Scheelite lies to himself? How does this "division" between self and negaverse affect her other flaws/virtues?

On the Flipside -- Could there be a link to the battle against Sailor Castor? Those curious may wish to read it, but which battle is it?
