My opinion on how they felt
ST- Kindof a raging, young man. A new sword in the name of justice. They are raw and powerful, almost too much. Lacking direction, making up for it in ambition. Toxicity - Kindof like that young man, after he's seen death for the first time. He's angry, very angry, but he has a sence of worldlyness to him, and a cause. Steal this Album - Getting older. He feels that he hasn't done enough for his cause. Stronger dragons have been created, and he has lost some of his anger. He is begining to long for an easier life, but knows it's not ahead of him. Mezmerize - He is becoming somewhat of a legend. He has a certain godly calm to him. He is almost blinded by his own implied immortality. This is not to say, that he is arrogant, but simply has the grace that would fit better to no man. He, however, is uneasy about the future. Hypnotize - Something from his past arises, and he is forced to remember his old habits. He is not tired, but shows his experience in a wild attack of rage and accuracy. The bright eyes of recent years have faded slightly, now. He doesn't want to be a hero anymore. He wants to fight.
I don't know if anyone will even understand this metaphor. >_<

SQUEE. -claps- Though I must say that Steal This Album! was not really from any particular time period. It was a compilation of previously unreleased tracks.
By the way, I got the UNEDITED version of self-titled from my boyfriend for Christmas, and the UNEDITED version of Steal This Album! from my dad. whee Before that, I only had the edited versions of those two. Mr. Jack is SO much better unedited o_o -love-

It was the only CD I didn't have >_< A friend is getting me the unedited version of Mezmerize when school starts back up, I have the edited version -_- Yeah, Mr. Jack sucks, edited, at least by comparison.
