One is simply called the Tower.
Its particular legend is that within the center of the school stands a mysterious obelisk made of dark green crystal, that harbors the powers of a deity of the forest. No one has been able prove its existence though. And as of late, no one has even bothered.
The story goes that a cathedral was built around the obelisk, and the relic was sealed within. With the passage of time, the obelisk was forgotten and the cathedral was converted into a school of magical studies...
Today, the Tower is a respectable magical boarding school for teenagers, and caters toward the middle class. It has a reputation for being very boring as far as magic schools go, yet has particularly excellent courses in alchemy and general magic, as well as an extensive library.
The Tower is surrounded by a dense, lush green forest, populated by a variety of deciduous and evergreen trees. All sorts of creatures live in this forest, hidden in the European country of Hungary, from squirrels and birds to dryads and ghosts. There are many ferns and mosses and flowers, as well.
The school has long since expanded since its cathedral days, although it's tried to keep a similar aesthetic. Buildings have been added since the number of students grew and grew, and larger facilities were needed. The central tower you see above is the original tower built to hide the mythical obelisk. The surrounding buildings are classrooms and dormitories. The courtyard has been expanded and paved. Electricity has been wired, and there is indoor (and outdoor) plumbing. The students and teachers enjoy a modest and comfortable experience while working and learning.
As far as education goes, the Tower offers standard education classes in math, science, languages, and history. As mentioned previously, while it offers a chance to study all different sorts of magic, it is especially renowned for general magics and alchemy, which is considered a science, and involves transforming objects into other objects by altering the substances of which they're made.
