Name: Savannah Valiar Hunt Nicknames: Sav', Anna, Savvy Gender: Female Age: 15 Birthday: March 8th Sign: Pisces Birthstone: Aquamarine Blood Type: AB School: Crystal Academy Fav. Food: Anything that can be eaten on the go! Teriyaki flavored jerky tops her list. Hated Food: Go-gurt. Ew. It's all gooey and gross and goes glorp when squeezed! D: Hobbies:
Rollerblading: A trip to the local rollerskating rink as a child for a friend's birthday party started it. She couldn't get enough of being able to glide around and around the rink, throwing a tantrum when it was time to leave. Since then, rollerskates have been the staple birthday gift for her until she became skilled enough to balance on rollerblades. When she can, Savannah prefers to use her rollerblades to travel from place to place in Destiny City. Her love for skates has reached the point where her favorite type of shoes are Heelys, tennis shoes with wheels in the heel portion of the shoe. Obsessed? Maybe.
Washable Vandalism: Savannah spent her freshman year at Meadowview, where her love and passion for rollerblading quickly made her popular with the skateboarding crowd. Towards the end of the year, her brother received a surprise visit from the police escorting his sister home after catching her and her friends spray-painting a playground. While she scored a high-five from her brother, in the end it resulted in her getting sent to Crystal away from the bad influences. Figuring that the spray-paint was the problem, Savannah took up the habit of using sidewalk chalk on walls instead. At least when they make her clean it, it just takes a splash of water to get rid of it! If only taking care of detention was that easy...
City in the Palm of my Hand: The pedestrian-friendly parts, at least. Savannah dreams of one day knowing every inch of Destiny City, but she won't be caught dead screaming "PARKOUUUUR!" while running through someone's backyard and waking up half the neighborhood. Rather, she enjoys exploring the city during her free time and always has a bus schedule handy. It's easy to tell where she's been by the occasional chalk-scrawl she leaves on various walls, not daring enough to leave her marks on the rooftops. Yet.
The Horror and Gore: Horror movies, video games, anatomy books, medical dramas... If there's something creepy, revolting, and overall scary about it, Savannah is on it faster than a Crystal Academy student on a free designer purse. Savannah is all about the thrill and adrenaline rush she gets from watching these, and... well, honestly? She finds it even more fun when other people get scared along with her. Years of eating her brother's cooking have given her an iron stomach -- an invaluable asset when the Super Chainsaw-Swingin' Gorefest 5000 Extreme Edition comes on TV at 1AM.
Breakfast Club Applicant: Savannah has seen her share of detention at Meadowview. From having rollerblades on in the hallways to planting a motion-detector alarm in the boy's bathrooms, Savannah would like to insist that it was so worth it. While most of her methods of getting into detention have been largely pranks and uniform violations, she has yet to be suspended or receive a mark on her record. Virtues: Cheap Thrill Seeker: It's the simple and inexpensive things in life that make Savannah happy. She isn't one to sit around and push a button on television until something interesting comes up. Rather, she prefers to make interesting things happen. She lives for the adrenaline rush that comes from rollerblading down a steep hill next to rush-hour traffic, the thrill of going to school to hear the announcement of a 'mysterious vandal' who burned a happy face into the football field. Savannah is a self-motivated and driven individual, living her life to its fullest extent.
Added to that, the more people she can drag along on her outings the better! New friends and aquaintences are privy to her excursions out on the town, from skating and chalk-vandalism to attemping to lie about their ages in order to see the latest R-rated film. Best friends and accomplices, however, meet under false pretenses in order to plan out and execute their next prank. The feeling of pulling off a prank and getting away with it feels just as empowering as getting the vending machine to drop two candy bars when you only bought just one.
Eyes on the Prize: Even though there's a "me" in "team," Savannah doesn't let her ego get to her head. She is humble and doesn't want the credit for something she accomplishes. To her, she's simply done her part. She doesn't need or want confetti to be thrown at her while the audience applauses before she's handed a big shiny award for doing something that's asked of her, or what she's asked herself to do. She simply does things in order to complete them. Disciplined and adaptive, Savannah does whatever she can do within reason to accomplish her tasks, from spending a couple days "scouting" a classmate's house for a prank to simply passing her classes.
All Savannah really wants is a simple pat on the back along with the opprotunity to look back at her work with a satisfied feeling.
Opprotunistic: Savannah keeps her eyes and ears open to the city around her. Every morning she devours the morning paper, her eyes flickering from the typed words to the reel of morning news on the television. She likes to know what's going on, and will even go so far as to eavesdrop on conversations, then use the information to her advantage. Savannah keeps herself alert to opprotunities and immediately siezes upon them. She isn't one to sit around and wait -- there's things to do NOW! Why not take the initiative and do them?
Granted, most of the time Savannah simply uses this information to appear keen and alert, trying to be "the informant" people turn to in order to figure out what's going on or to be distracted by what she and her friends are up to. If she's approached and asked about what she and/or her friends are up to prank-wise, she'll be more than happy to take the opprotunity to gossip about the latest news that her friend heard from her cousin who heard from the band teacher who heard from the drummer who heard from the quarterback about the latest major breakup in the school.
This prank-protection doesn't extent to people outside of her friends, though. If she knows, she'll be more than happy to report vandalism or get intervention on someone else's prank. She's only doing her duty, after all!
Flaws: Harsh Reality: Despite her enthusiasm for horror movies, medical dramas, and the highly detailed book on anatomy, when it comes to the real sighting of guts and gore, Savannah loses all face. Biology lab? Forget cutting open the frog. Why yes, her face did just lose all of its blood, and yes, that was Savannah running out the door to go throw up. She'll be back in order to make everyone present to deny ever seeing her go do it, of course. Paper-cuts, scrapes, minor burns and bruises she can deal with. Anything beyond the "normal" every-day happenings makes her feel ill.
You should have seen the look on your face! The best sort of prank is the one you can pull without getting caught. An even better one is one in you get to see people's reaction! Savannah loves catching people off guard, be it from witnessing the latest prank she just pulled or by simply sneaking up from behind before latching onto their shoulders with a "BOO!" She really, really hates it when someone else manages to one-up her. If she's friends with the person who pranked her, she'll play-punch them. If they're a stranger, she'll whine and yell quite loudly and pout. Either way, her next step would most likely be plotting revenge.
Evasive: Savannah will not look you in the eye. She will also not confess to being the one who booby-trapped your half-opened door with a bucket of water, or admit to mixing part of the tobasco sauce with the ketchup. In fact, she has an alibi to prove she wasn't the person you are accusing of. Honest. Nevermind that the alibi was a lie created on the spot, the fact that she has one is good enough to prove her innocence, right? Right?!
She is also particularly dodgey when it comes to finding out information. Savannah won't give up what she knows easily to a complete stranger, aquantince, or friend. It's only when she's with someone she's been on several successful pranks with that she'll open up and openly admit that, yes, those bubbles that practically overran the girls' bathroom yesterday morning? Totally dishwasher soap.
The only time she will admit that yes, it was her is if she is caught. Or if you were with her. Don't expect her to take the fall for you -- if both you and here were in the same area working towards the same goal, she won't hesitate to have you and only you take the fall. C'mon, someone has to be on the lookout for the next opprotunity, right? Right!
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Eyes: Round, green eyes. Hair: White with the tips dyed pink. It's quite messy when unbound, its maximum length going a little past her shoulders. In the front, it's long enough to tuck behind her ears. She prefers to keep this bound in a ponytail, as her rollerskating habit otherwise creates nasty snarls and tangles that take forever to comb out. Face: She has a heart-shaped face with no blemishes. Savannah has small dimples, but the vast amount of earrings on her ears and that one on her nose tends to hog all the attention. The small, square-shaped frame-less glasses don't help either. Senshi: Sailor Cebalrai, senshi of Firecrackers Challenge: Sparks will fly! Attacks:Sailor Senshi: Bottle-Cap Snap Step!Sailor Cebalrai picks a person and casts her attack. On a visual scale, it looks like a grand total of nothing happens. When the person she picks moves, however, they are suddenly assaulted by the loud CRACKLE BANG POP! of fireworks! At their feet, at least. The fireworks are bright enough to leave after-images if they're looked at, but they aren't too hot or too loud to leave burns or create hearing loss. The area now reeks of smoke, too. Fireworks take effect immediately the moment an opponent moves. This can be used up to three times per battle, and can ONLY be used at ground-level. If someone's face somehow lands in the vicinity of the fireworks, then they'll receive a face-full of dazzling lights and a melody of BANGBANGPOPFIZZLECRACKLE! with no burns. Super Senshi: Roman Candle Snap Dazzle!Sailor Cebalri shouts the attack and extends her arm similar to Spiderman, except all her fingers are extended. From the palm of her hand, small sparks of energy gather before flying off towards her target, bursting before impact into colorful balls of sparks. These energy blasts have only a short range, and are used to simply distract a foe. If they're looking at the fireworks, they will be affected with the after-images of the sparks. If they collide with the sparks, there will be a small zing! of pain, but not enough to leave a permanent scar. Like Bottle-Cap Snap Step this attack does very little damage, and isn't hot enough to start fires. She can only fire one "candle" at a time, up to three times per battle. Eternal Senshi: Rocket-Wheel Snap Ride!Sailor Cebalrai shouts her attack and holds her arms out at her side. Beneath her feet, a car hubcap-shaped firework appears beneath her feet. The fuse is lit, and when it goes off, multiple streams of fireworks shoot out from six points on it, causing it to spin in a circle. At the same time, sparks fly out of Cebalrai's opened hands to create a spinning fountain firework. The sparks from this attack aren't hot enough to start a fire, but they can be pretty painful when they come into contact with skin. Ever been splashed by a droplet of hot oil? Picture that, but with many, many more droplets. These sparks also shift and change color faster than an hip 80's attention-seeking mood ring. It serves as a distraction as well as being a difficult way to grab onto Cebalrai -- a sort of flashy, noisy self-shield While this is also going on, it is INCREDIBLY NOISY. CAN YOU HEAR ME? I'M MAKING THESE VERY LOUD GESTURES TO EXPLAIN MY POINT! WHAT? WHAT DID YOU SAY? Needless to say, the closer you are to Cebalrai when this goes off, the harder it is to hear/communicate with those nearby. Cebalrai can only use this attack once per battle. She begins to spin slower when the attack has ran its course, along with the appearance and stench of smoke and burnt gunpowder. Affects: Very bright and flashy lightshow that can leave after-images when stared at. The closer you are, the louder and hotter it is. Getting hit with sparks is akin to being splashed with drops of hot oil. May impair hearing for some time post-exposure. Cebalrai's Affects: Burns on hands and exposed skin. Dizzy when attack ends. Hearing impairment for several hours post-battle.
