Paragonite wasn't certain who she'd pissed off to land herself in the position she found herself in. There wasn't enough migraine strength advil to save her from the torture she was sure she was going to endure. What could she be complaining about however? It was a beautiful evening, and there was certain to be an easy target for removing star seeds around seeing that the evening air was becoming warmer as the seasons slowly worked their way towards summer. No matter, it would still suck.
The lieutenant sighed, looking over her right shoulder. Patrolling with her on this evening was Scheelite. Where Zink had hidden away (lucky b*****d) she wasn't entirely certain. Whatever the reason, she'd 'lucked' out in dragging him along. So far it'd been alright. Though, they hadn't really been out all that long.
"See anything?" she gave a bit of a yawn, turning her head away from the boy, scouting the area for any potential targets. She'd decided on the park for the evening. The idea behind it being that if Scheelite pissed her off enough, it would take people a while to find his body in the bushes.
Though.
With all his glowsticks and brightly coloured self, that could be an issue. The kid belonged in a rave, or something.

Scheelite wasn't so much patrolling as he was bounding around on his path to follow Paragonite. At least, for the most part, he had been rather quiet during the beginning of their patrol. Ah, but the night was young and he had plenty of time to be an annoying loudmouth.
Like now, for instance!
"Nothing! Man this is boooooring, cmon let's do something better Para! We could go play on the swiiiiiings, or find a ball and play some soccer, OH OH OH! WE COULD SING! You wanna sing? Cmon, I'll start! This is the song that never ennnnnds! Yes it goes on and on my friiiiiiend~" And by the time he had gotten to that 'friend' bit he had managed to hyperactively scramble his way over to Para so he could be right in her face grinning for it. Yes, friends! That's what they were! Teammates too!
"Some people started singing it not knowing what it was, and now continue singing it forever just because THIS IS THE SONG THAT NEVER ENDS~" On and on and on and on and on. It was going to be one hell of a long patrol.

Vulpe looked around listening... was that... who the heck would be singing THAT at this time of night?
He made his way casually to investigate and lit a cig on his way to investigate. Might as well take it easy right? How bad could this be?

This sucked.
Sailor Cebalrai, Senshi of Fireworks, stared at her low boots sourly. It's not that they weren't comfortable (they were), or didn't look good (she wanted a pair for when she wasn't henshied up), or that they were heels of all things (she was surprised she hadn't tripped yet). It was the fact that she couldn't take them off and switch to her roller blades. She had to walk everywhere!
Or at least, she had to while dressed up as her sailor form. Like tonight. Sailor Cebalrai had taken over one of the swings, gently swinging back and forth while frowning at her shoes. Why, oh why couldn't she remove them and exchange them for her beloved roller blades?!

There was a moment where Paragonite felt like a woman running a daycare. Within that fleeting moment, she was flabbergasted that the suicide rate of childcare workers (or homicide for that matter) wasn't higher. Then again, Heather knew children who were more 'grounded' then Scheelite.
Then again, she listened to Scheelite whine about being bored, that wasn't really a hard task. Her exasperation knew no bounds when she suddenly found the blonde haired boy up in her face, singing the credits song from Lambchop's Play-a-Long. She managed to choke back the urge to slap him, and took solace in mental images of the boy duct taped to a tree.
Extra tape to cover his huge mouth.
"We're not playing on the swings Schee. We're out here to do a job." sigh. "Nor are we playing soccer..." a brief pause as she rubbed her temples, "and stop singing that damn song!"
Unfortunately for Paragonite, she was unaware of any others in the nearby vicinity. Scheelite's chipperness was doing a fantastic job of distracting her from keeping an eye out. She poked the younger Lieutenant in the ribs "Do you take anything seriously?"

Schee had been ready to launch into the fifth run through of the song when the sudden poke to his ribs jarred him out of it. Giving a startled EEP, he stumbled back from her.
Dear Para: You just found Schee's weakspot. Congratulations!
"But cmooon, the swings would be fun! Soccer would be fun too, and that song is AWESOME, and don't poke me in the ribs okay? Okay! Awesome." Schee had stopped to blink at the next question. Take anything seriously?... "Of COURSE I take stuff seriously! I take Guitar Hero seriously! I take Zink seriously!...most of the time! Uhhh.............." ...Yeah, he ran out of things.

"Hey...get up! you gotta see this!" He said with a huge grin on his face. "Theirs some dude... back there singing, he looks like some stoned out raver."

The girl jumped at the tap, going so far as to pitch forward and out of the swing, flailing her arms as she struggled to keep her balance. "Arrshgflar!" She gibbered, turning her attention to her tinted glasses that tried to escape her face. "Dude, you scared me!" Cebalrai gasped, fixing her glasses in order to peer at her brother in an accusing way.
But... "Stoned out raver? No way! Think we can... have a bit of fun with him?" She asked, raising her hands and miming a snap to hint at her power.
The girl couldn't help but to yawn, nudging her glasses to better hide the tell-tale dark circles of sleeplessness. She was pleased that she had her 'alter ego' to thank as an excuse to avoid sleeping, even if her said alter ego didn't like her rollerblades.

"What was that?" Para asked, poking Scheelite in the ribs once more. "Oh. Don't poke you in the ribs. Got it. I'll be sure to keep that in mind for future reference, but you'll have to forgive any indiscretions." she smirked, "My short term memory tends to fail me every now and then."
"And no! We're not playing on the swings. Or soccer! We've got work to do Scheelite. If you're a good boy, and find a star seed. Maybe, just maybe I'll let you play on the swings. But only then. Okay?" she shook her head. Maybe if she played to his moronic ideas, he'd actually try to get some damn work done tonight.
Was worth a shot anyways.

"STOOOOOOOP!" It was pretty much the perfect impression of a young child absolutely fed up with people doing things he didn't like. In this case, it was poking him in his god damn ribs. "No more poke. No more. Just stooooop, sheesh!"
The bit about the swings made him perk right back out of his sulking and whining. "Really? Okay Para! LET'S GO! Cmon cmon cmon I'll find you more than one star seed if it means swing time! Why aren't we going Para? Let's go!." Here he was trying to grab her hand and lead her off. He could be a good boy! Really! And then he'd get swing time and it'd be awesome.

Tom guffawed, apparently pleased with the result of his tap on her shoulder, the jerk. But nodded.
"Well provided you don't jump out of your skin before we get there, at least it's keeping you awake eh?" He offered her a hand up.

Savannah accepted the boost from her brother's hand, taking a moment to stick her tongue out at him before nodding. "Yeah, yeah. C'mon bro, I can jump higher than you are tall now! Don't worry about it!" She gave him a friendly punch in the arm before moving in the direction he indicated, skittering quickly across the open ground to lurk in the cover of the park's bushes. She hoped they didn't stick out.

"Hey, wait. What?!" Lieutenant Paragonite found her hand grabbed, and her body jerked forward by the rather enthusiastic Scheelite. Inwardly she cursed at herself, she should have known better than to offer him his equivalent of 'shinies'. What was she thinking? The shorter lieutenant seemed now driven on his goal to get some star seeds. The power of the swings was a force not to be reckoned with, apparently!.
"Scheelite!" she managed to gasp out as she pulled her composure back together, "SCHEELITE WOULD YOU HANG ON FOR A MINUTE!" the blond obviously had no idea how hard it was to run in high heels. One of these days, she'd make sure he knew how hard it would be.
The brat.
"Cool your engines kid." she yanked back on her hand, hoping to break the grasp, "You gotta be a little less obvious. We want to find the people not be foun-- hey wait, did you hear that?" she cocked her head to the side, listening.

"But cmon we need to go RIGHT NOW Para! Right now so we can get some star seeds and go on the swings. Please? PLEASE? I'm taking this seriously!" ...At least it was -something-.
The backwards yank didn't quite break his grasp, but it did succeed in pulling him right out of his run. The boy stumbled back towards Paragonite with a startled little yipe. "Heeeey, what gives? Why are we stopping? If we stop we won't get star seeds and then you won't let me on the swings an dthat would suck Para, so cmon!" Scheelite paused, acid eyes just -staring- up at the other lieutenant. "....I didn't hear anything. Was it something COOL Para?"
