Winged Timberwolf Augh, so many categories, I know! Sorry. But there are some things I'd like to say.
Roleplay Updates
Everyone's doing good, I really like how our story's developing! But some clans need to remember that the Madness is going on. If you want to create a character for the sole purpose of dying in the Madness, it will not count toward your limit of five self-made characters nor will it count for your limit of two deceased characters. Clans that need to start the Madness: Breezeclan and Seaclan.
New Forum
As some of you may have noticed, there has been a new forum added called Worker's Clearing, which is for crew only. Lots of stuff is happening there, but you're really not allowed there unless you are a crew member! Each crew member does a certain job, so it won't be easy! And you need 50 posts in the guild to be a crew member! Crew Applications are here: [ x ]
Also, this Announcement thread is new. It is for mod use only, AND if you are a mod, you MUST ONLY make announcements regarding TO THE GUILD, and NOT for your personal use! You will be demoted if you use an announcement for anything but guild purposes!!
Awards/Congrats
There have been some impressive writers who have joined us. I'd like to shine the spotlight on them! They are S u m o m o and cometsrain. Great job, you two! Your literate writing and creative characters have been great additions to our storyline! <3
Reminders
Just in case you guys don't remember, our Order of Destinies thread is for you to ask questions for! Feel free to ask either me or Leo about (almost) anything at all, or even create your own thread!
Kits Updates
Doveflight's litter has been successfully adopted out as the first litter to be put up for adoption. Thanks to those who adopted them for supporting the guild!
Also, Lavenderrain (S u m o m o) has decided to put her kits up for adoption. I've taken Purekit, but Richkit is still up for adoption. S u m o m o strongly prefers that he keeps his name (please), but you can change it if you want.

Roleplay Updates
Yeah, like I said in the guild announcements- STOP TRANSFORMING. This is unrealistic and we are not accepting it anymore. Sorry, but you'll have to find some other way to have a strong character. That's technically cheating.
Also, NO TRANSFORMING INTO CHARACTERS FROM THE SERIES! This is even WORSE. The point of this is to create a new storyline with new characters! There is no point having you transform into characters from the actual series! So please stop that. Let them rest in peace. D<
Awards
Like I said, I've decided the people who've won the Star Slayers. I had a tough time choosing between Thane and Icestar for Gorge, especially since Thane ignored my rule of PG-13 (after he asked me what the limit was ). But, truthfully, the part that won me over for him was when he described Gorge walking through the forest, and all the animals were fleeing. That was pretty cool. But it was NOT because he wrote a lot. Icestar, I was so, so close to choosing you. Thane just had more detial about how the animals reacted to Gorge, that's it. D:
Congrats to all winners! Remember, I'll be PMing you with a link to the thread in the Worker's Clearing so we can discuss what to do next in the storyline. I'll give you more details in the PM. c:

New Forum
As many of you know, we have a new Auditioning Center forum. It's for auditions. Usually, you will audition to become a caretaker, which is a person who roleplays as someone's character for a short period of time while that person is absent. Sometimes, people have to leave for a week or two, and need someone to take care of their character, and that's what Caretakers do.
I'll be setting up a Caretaker auditioning thread. xD I already have someone who needs their charas to have temporary owners, so they'll be the testing batch. You'll audition much like the Main Characters audition, but winning doesn't mean you get to RP as the chara (unless you want to), winning means you'll be an official caretaker who will be asked to RP as characters when the time comes. c: Our members will pick from our caretakers when they need to leave for a while. Take note, deputies and Leaders cannot be put up for caretaking by normal members. Only crew may temporarily own a leader.

Updates & Information (Continued) May 24th
Leopardstreak Hey guys!
This is the entire announcement, so make sure you read it!
The journey will be brought to an end this week. That includes Ravage and Comet, and the fight and all that. So, please be online during that period of time! We need to finish this so the Clans cat get back together.
I am aware of finals and exams this week, so that's why we must cut this journey short. If we drag it out, we may just do a timeskip and the cats will be in the meadow with the cure flower. So, once the cats get back to the Clans, this guild will be a a standstill until exams and finals and testing is over.
We also have another holiday coming up! It's Week of the Suns, a celebration of summer for all the Clans! So, event planners, check on your tasks and get to it!
Also, to all crew members: Timber has updated the main post in your specific job descriptions, including weekly and monthly tasks that need to be done. Make sure you read those and get to it! Timber and I can't do everything, you know! Also, if you want to be a crew member, apply for it!
One more thing: I'm tired of these one-sentence posts. Technically, this is considered illiterate. You will recieve a warning first, then if it continues, you will recieve a second warning and be blacklisted. This will continue until you have either accumulated three offenses and are booted, or until your posts are lengthened. Please, a minimum of five sentences.
Some ideas for this would include thoughts, movement, details in appearance, fear, feelings, sensations, etc.
For example:
[Dawnstep stepped into the moonlight, her paws tingling with excitement. Miraclestar had just performed her warrior ceremony, and now she had to hold her vigil, as custom of StarClan. Don't let me fall asleep, don't let me fall asleep! she repeated to herself. She blinked in greeting at Kestrelclaw, her brother. He had just been made a warrior too, for his black pelt was shining next to her cream colored pelt.]

"That was amazing!" Dawnstep meowed.
[Kestrelclaw dipped his head in embarrassment, dropping his small falcon. It was a good catch, and he gave his ruffled chest fur a good lick.]

Please format it like this. I don't want any more one sentence posts!
Anyway, good luck on your finals, exams, etc. The guild won't be active until next week or so, when testing is overwith.

To accurately go with accordance to the odds of catching something in the winter, we have a new system! You will generate a number from 1-10. If you get the numbers 3, 6, or 9, your cat who is hunting will catch something. If not, your cat will not catch anything. If you generate a 3, your cat will catch a measely prey. If you generate a 6, your cat will catch a decent prey. If you roll a 9, your cat will catch a hefty prey. TO GENERATE A NUMBER, PLEASE POST IN THIS THREAD (WHICH EXPLAINS HOW TO GENERATE A NUMBER FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW) clicky !! DO NOT GENERATE RANDOM NUMBERS IN THE ROLEPLAY!

He is really dumb, but brutal. I mean. Brutal. Loves to torture for fun, kills without reason. Splinter, his brother, is equally as brutal, but has more common sense and brains as well as braun. Splinter is colder and crueller. He is also a grayish mountain lion with some scratches and scars, but not as much as Gorge, who always gets into trouble. Leopardstreak Roleplay Updates
First of all, Gatherings! We haven't had one since SEPTEMBER! People, you need to remind me and Timber! Please let us know about three to four days before, that way we have time to close it and re-open it. And the medicine cat meetings need to increase, too. There hasn't been one in a verrry long time. Also, cats just can't go to the Moonpool. It's at least half a day's journey, but not as far as the Outlands. ^^
Roleplay Update #2
Anyway, there's one last thing for the Gathering. There are waaay too many cats going. There are hardly any left in camp! In the books, the patrols are small. usually seven or eight. There is a limit on the cats that go to the Gathering- seven. Five warriors, two apprentices. And of course, medicine cat and deputy.
Reminders
This roleplay is supposed to be semi-literate. These one and two sentence posts will no longer be tolerated. I want SUBSTANCE to these posts! I want detail, I want description! Those who have short posts will be warned, then blacklisted. Remember, three counts on the blacklist and you're out!
Also, I've recently seen cats remade, deleted, changed, edited, and other strange things. I'm not allowing ANY more of that. You make a cat, you keep it until it dies! And you can't just go killing it off! You make the cat, you roleplay as the cat, and you don't change it! The cat's profile is what it is. There will be no gender changes, sudden huge switches, and other things!

Roleplay Updates, New Rules Reminders
February 20th
Leopardstreak I hope you all had a happy Valentine's day. And I hope you all have a happy President's Day tomorrow! But there are some things that we need to cover.Roleplay Reminders
There have been new rules added, and, though I'm pretty sure you've all seen them, please look at them. I don't like blacklisting members, but there have been WAY TOO MANY member problems, and I have had to hand out way too amny blacklist counts to my liking. We're cracking down on rules, because this is supposed to be an organized and efficient and FUN guild. But there has got to be rules, because, if there weren't, things would be out of control. And one rule I am going to be cracking down on is literacy. This is supposed to be a literate guild, which means there must be MORE THAN FIVE SENTENCES. I cannot stress this enough. More than five sentences, and they MUST be good, detailed sentences. Example:
GOOD: [Dawnfire padded with light paws into the warriors' den, her amber eyes flashing in the darkness as she watched her footing to prevent from trodding on a comrade's tail.]
Now, I don't expect it to be that detailed. But they must be CLOSE.
BAD: [Dawnfire padded into the warriors' den and laid down.]
No. This is not literate, and unacceptable. So watch for this as you're writing!
Other Issues
First of all, I have become aware that a lot of new ideas/plots/problems have been sent to Timber. No offense meant to her at all, of course, but I would REALLY appreciate it if I heard about things FIRST. I have mentioned my irritation with this numerous times. I also compromised and asked people to address the PM to TIMBER AND MYSELF. I don't mind that, but what I do mind is when I hear things from Timber, or I find out after Timber does. I would really appreciate things to be sent to me or myself and Timber. I get very frustrated when things get out of my hands, because I am a very organized person and I like to keep things running smoothly. And that's why I hate hitches in my schedule. From now on, PLEASE. SEND. THINGS. TO. ME. OR ME AND TIMBER. And to enforce that, I am thinking about adding a blacklist count for that. Thinking about it. Which means it's not for sure. But keep on your toes, people.
Secondly. There have been way too many new cats made without my permission. It is a rule to send all new profiles to me. And, in the long run, it keeps you out of trouble. If I look over your profile, I can tell you what will get you in trouble and what is safe. I don't like blacklisting members because of a simple profile screw up. But it's happened, and I don't like doing it. So, please, from now on, SEND ALL PROFILES TO ME.

March 11th
Winged Timberwolf Yeah. I found out that the weird not-being-able-to-send-announcements glitch is a problem with Internet 7, which I have. I'm indefinitely going to have a problem until gaia fixes it.

Spring Cleaning
We're going to have a massive clean-out of the guild, starting with deleting irrelevant threads. The main forum and lounging den, for example, are having major make-overs, while the other forums are being changed around, and new sub-forums coming in the future.
For now, I'm deleting everything in the Celebrations! Forum that is considered spam. I won't ask if you want to keep your threads because most of them are just quizzes and games, nothing personalized like "MY Unique Game" which I wouldn't delete...so generic games= as good as gone, though I'll keep the St. Patty's-themed ones for now.
New Vice Captain!!!

After much deliberation and assessment, we've come to realize she's a huggeeee help to the guild. We tended to tell her VC news anyway, and thought she deserved to be promoted (since we trusted her anyway)! After all she's done to help us and make things easier on us, we really wanted to repay her with the position she's worked for. Congrazzlesss!
asian now has every power that I do. She be yo boss nao >;D She is going to help us regulate teh guild, delete posts, clean out, bring down punishment, etc. etc., but treat her normally, it's not like she's changed or anything. xD
Once more, congrats! We're thrilled to have ya on the team!
(Technically there was only one VC-me-, and the guild mule + my mule are just extras, though I plan on having Leo demote my mule since it's a bit silly now that I got my account back. xD I just realized how many are listed as VC and wanted to point that out. )
Awards
YOU GUYS. I've left COTW alone for almost a month Dx We need more votes on cats! I like it more when members vote and I'm not just picking cats! >> So please head over to the COTW thread in the Celebrations! Forum!
New Rules
We're going to try and clean up rules (bunch similar ones together so there aren't so many) as well as introduce new ones. Look out for that.
We're going to get a bit stricter, not so much in the RP but certainly in posting around the guild. ^^ I'll try to group similar rules together so it's not as difficult to remember them Dx I promise!
But also remember that now that we're renovating, we're going to be less lenient...
Demotions
We're going to be demoting/kicking out some members who have 0 posts in the guild (which is just about 4-5 pages of members OTL).
Also, We're going to be stricter, like I said, which means demotions/temporary bans will start coming for those who keep breaking our rules.
Summary/Sneak Peeks
In effect, we're going to be stricter yet neater, more literate, less lenient, and a bit more active.
Some sneak peeks of renovations (which Leo will explain in detail soon in a new announcement) are new subforums for the RP, new subforums in general, a consultation thread (which I may make today), payment for crew members, and a guild guide.

New Threads!
We will be cleaning out all the forums! Lounging Den: Everything will be cleaned out, and only the original forums will remain. However, there is an option: if you want your particular topic KEPT and not erased, you must PM me and tell me what topic you want kept and give me a SUBSTANTIAL reason. This is the only subforum with that option. The others will be reorganized/cleaned out, except for a few that will be left as is, such as Traveler's Trade. ^^ There will also be a guide subforum, which is where the Clan lists, rules, and all the stickies on the front page will be posted. Please check here once it is completed. There will also be a profile submission thread, and so members would be required to post all NEW AND OLD profiles there, and then, once accepted, can be posted in the Cat Profiles thread once it is renovated. YOU. MUST. WAIT. UNTIL. YOUR PROFILE. IS ACCEPTED. TO POST IT. OR ROLEPLAY! PLEEEASE remember that!
There is also a new thread around! It is The Conference thread- which is a place for members to post suggestions NOT about something new, but about existing things. Such as if something is not working, or if there is something bothering you about how something is being done. If there are complaints about members, to protect their privacy, we request that you (the complaintant) PM at least me, but you may also include Timber and Asian. It would be easier if you PMed all three of us, but please come to myself or the VCs about problems.
Rank Absence
Just a few last things. Please note that if you have a high ranked position (leaders and medicin cats ESPECIALLY) that if the roleplayer of these two ranks are absent with NO PRIOR NOTICE for a week or more, they WILL be stripped of their rank and another cat will take thier place. This isn't as applicable to deputies, but please keep this in mind!
Crew Benefits!
Lastly, we will begin paying crew! However, the crew will also be cleaned out. Timber and I have decided to demote all inactive crew, and only a few trusted crew members will remain. You may NOT request yourself in. Crew members are chosen by myself, Timber, and Asian. Please keep this in mind. The crew AFTER the renovation will be paid, but the amount has not yet been decided.

NEW SERIES UPDATE- POST IN NEW THREADS!
August 6th
Winged Timberwolf TIMBER IS STUPID.
TIMBER FORGOT THAT THE NEW THREADS FOR SERIES 2 ARE ALREADY UP. (THE MAIN ONES ANYWAY.)
SO, BEACUSE TIMBER IS ALREADY SUPER EXCITED ABOUT IT,
TIMBER IS GOING TO LET YOU START POSTING IN THE NEW CLAN THREADS NOW ANYWAY.
Know that the Gathering is set in the past and the new threads are 9 moons in the future. We're trying to wrap the gathering up but everyone's just so excited about the new threads, I supposed opening the new threads couldn't hurt anybody. C:
NOTE that nothing about the new series has been announced yet so there is no new threat in teh Clans yet. Everything is normal and doodly dandy and the Clans are living peacefully.
And the big kit explosion is lurking.

Mew Some new things, hooray!
Roleplay Updates
For those seeking to have accurate info in their posts, here's the gist of what has happened...
Upon the wild storm, these changes have happened:
-It has been storming for these past 3 + 1/2 days (there was a timeskip to skip all the roleplaying in horrible weather stuff) It has finally stopped.
-StormClan took shelter in a hidden, dry cave in Oak Tree Clearing on their territory; BreezeClan is taking shelter in the trees to their best abilities; NightClan is sheltering in the Great Tree in the center of their camp; and SeaClan's caves were naturally built to deflect water and, thus, are perfect for shelter during any type of storm.
- BreezeClan and NightClan cats have been exposed to the rain the most and are more susceptible to chills, diseases, and/or accidents caused by the rain. NightClan cats are most likely to fall ill due to the chilly winds on their territory.
- It is flooded everywhere; what little prey could be found was not tasty, bloated, and soggy. The lands are still relatively empty of prey, and every warrior is hungry (most have not eaten even once for the past three days). SeaClan will fare the best since they can hunt in water easily and the flood has likely stranded some fish to easily catch.
- Trees have been knocked over/drowned in the storm and will likely show signs of decay (from being dead) within the next few weeks (in RP time).
New Forums
As mentioned in the announcements, we have some new forums up.
The Maps elaborately detail the areas of the Clans to help you understand where things are.
The Timeline Calendar is the schedule of the RP timeline that we will follow.
The Weather Channel gives specifics about what's happening right now at this moment in the RP, including moon phase, weather in every Clan, and the season. Keep track of how many days have passed so you can accurately follow the age of your cat.
Also, we've set up a Calendar Discussion thread for feed back on the calender, but it also has a poll to help us determine when your winter breaks are. We need to know so we can plan our timeskips/storyline according to when people are on most often. PLEASE GO VOTE THERE.
Awards/Congrats

Thread Updates
Our old, abandoned thread Cats! is now being used for, as you know, revoked cats up for adoption.
When giving us info about a revoked cat of yours that you'd actually like to see RP'd by someone else, please give us statistical info such as their Mentor, Parents, siblings, etc...a bit of their history prior to being given up, and even, if you're generous, their relations to some of the other Cats in their Clans. It will help the adoptee to fit into your cat. Your cat's personality and perhaps friends are likely going to change of course. You cannot control what the adoptee plans to do with the cat either, but giving them something to start with is really appreciated!

NEW Announcement! 4-25-2012 Hey everyone!
I know, this is the second announcement in a row. But I hope to get a system going that will have announcements sent every week with plot updates (or links, if space isn't big enough), rule or moderator updates, and general updates. Hopefully this will keep everyone better informed.
Now, on to the crew subject, as I mentioned in the subject line. With this makeover of WTNC, I will need as much help as I can get- however, crew must be DEDICATED. That means they must be responsible for their jobs, responsible for overseeing specific areas, and they must be ACTIVE. I cannot stress this enough.
Now, what I am going to do is demote everyone in crew, minus the VC and mule. PLEASE do not take offense- I am simply taking steps in the master plan. Now, if you would like to remain crew (by remaining, I mean being re-promoted those already in crew) please follow the same steps as listed.
First, you will need to send me the revised crew form. Then I will let you know whether or not you will be promoted. If you are, I will expect you to log in every day, do what you can, and then either post in your log (which you will need to post in the Crew Den) or PM me with the details of that day. I will be logging in as often as I can to check. However, in cases where I am absent and Asian is as well, then there will be someone appointed in my place (like an honarary VC) to oversee affairs in teh situation of both Asian and myself being absent. This person will be chosen on past experiences, moderator status, activity, and trustworthiness. But that will be detailed in the application.
Please send this to me as soon as you can if you are interested! And, like I stated before, please do NOT be offended if you are demoted.
