I feel weird not by your side,
but I love, the atmosphere up here.

I can't say but you must of done something right.
Enjoy it now

because not so long from now it'll be

Take not for granted what I've done,
sacrificed it all and taken nothing for my own.

but sadly I've almost run out.
They underestimate the capabilities that I hold strong.

life doesn't care
cuz life isn't fair.

I like you,
I actually do,
I don't understand it though,
cuz your me,
but different,
i just got screwed over,
so why am i so hopeful.
I wish i knew,
I really wish i did,
because then it wouldn't hurt
it wouldn't be some void,
that is lacking an answer.
But still
i like you
and i wanted you to do one thing
just one simple thing
but you already had plans
with some other girl
and so now i don't even want to go
to this one dance
that is supposed to be perfect.

@Oh! What A Day: I love the "You've been touched by an angel." statement. As clm640 says, who needs guys? We think they're so perfect in the beginning, but most of the time they turn out to be assholes or gay.
@What is Expected: I love how you're frank in this poem. Excellent choice in topic! <3
@Disappointment: I quite don't understand where the dance came from in then end. sweatdrop But I do like this poem! If my understanding is correct, this is about you being hopeful over a boy to go to a dance with you but he has a girlfriend that he's already going with. Please tell me if I'm correct! XD

I love the lines that says "Why cry? Why allow them to have that control" Because this is so true. Guys (if thats who your talking about) don't deserve a girl's tears
