Triton could feel himself drifting off slowly, nose dipped down into the fallen foliage of leaves and deep greens. Breathing slowly as the sunlight flickered over head through the thick boughs of the tall heavy trees. The forest towering about the place, giants of the earth all in they're own right these trees...
He'd always found himself awe-struck by places like this, even if he'd been to them a hundred times before, truly it was a joy each and every time.
The tawny colored bucks ears flicked, bushy tail shivering softly as one eye slipped open, thinking he'd heard a sound of rustling leaves..the kind one might find akin to a mion or some other such creature of the wilds. Then again, maybe it was nothing? Just his imagination..haah..or the imaginary wind even!

The air was warm and light, a whimsy of summer days to come. Aushlinn was tempted by every sight she came across to stay there and enjoy the moment. Yet, she did not. It wasn't like she had anything to do. It was just the fact she wanted to see everything! Why should she wait and see things when there was so much to be sought?
Her hooves made a tapping stacatto in the leaves, but she did not realize that someone would hear her. There weren't many dangers to affect her. Except other....less nice Herla. She paused in her movements and leaned down to sniff at a lovely violet-colored flower. It had a small smell, light and clean. "Why can't everything smell like you...?" She murmured, her voice light.

Triton's eyes slipped open at the sound of hooves against the leaves, stretching himself out warmly on his stomach as he further sought the sound of the noise. Apparently he hadn't been as alone as he'd thought. The lightly melodic sound of a voice further proved that, his violet eyes latching on to a bright lavender shape. One that stood out amongst the earthy tones of the forest.
"Well well..what have we here.." he mused quietly to himself before pushing himself up onto his legs, stepping lightly through the thick folliage as he made his way towards it. The bright shape rather amused him, and as he drew closer he could clearly see that it was another herla.
Such an unusual herla at that, butterfly wings and an odd mask covering what he could only assume was a female face. Still if nothing else she was lovely, rather dainty in appearance. "You know.." tritons voice low and husky as he dared to approach closer "If its flowers you like, I know a better place to find them?" It was only a guess true, but one he felt safe to make. Butterflys liked flowers didn't they?
