*the metal platforms of engineering never cease to do their wonders, take you the multiple areas that keep this ship running. Gravity Centrifuge Access: Check, Fuel Storage: Check, Engine Room: Check, and pipes and circuitry still viewable and dangerous. Only the Class 5 engineers are allowed here*

James trying to fix the problem he was instructed to fumbles with his tool, sweat rolling down his brow. he coudnt keep his mind off captain mathias, it was like an obsession, but for revenge. Captain irving was asking questions about him and it was starting to upset James and now he has high hopes that the krios finds the ishimura so he can finaly vindicate his wifes death.

An hour passed, James was given a strange visitor. Seth walked down onto the deck, sneaking about since he knew only Class 5 engineers were supposed to be down there. Hawkins was Class 4 of course but there weren't enough Class 5's on board the Krios anyhow. As he tried creeping up behind James, a can standing on one of the circuit boxes on the floor of the metal grating shook at the step of his foot and fell, making a clanging sound as it hit and rolled down the metal platform. Marvin's back shivered at the sound and made an unpleasant face,

"Sneaking? really? what do you want seth?" James turned his head around, eyeballing seth, waiting for an answer.

Marvin stood straight, trying to act professional. "I just was wanting to talk," he stuttered as he tried to get his point across, he was slightly intimidated by James. "I w-wanted to ask you about, um, well your life, uh, it's just..." he hesitated a moment to answer but quickly picked up his conversation again, "The Captain's under a lot of stress. He hasn't slept well and the, well, the pressure of finding the Ishimura in illegal space hasn't boosted his confidence." He made a weak smile, "I was hoping I could learn more about you. What happened in your files and all, your story." He patted his trusted holofile on his leg, waiting for an answer.

James still sitting looked up at seth, he grinned and shook his head while letting out a sigh. "u realy want to know about me? well....for starters i can tell u: life sucks, i realized that on the ishimura when captain mathias denied my wifes death was a homicide..." James stopped, he hadnt even told seth about his wife." i guess i dident mention Katya...she was the best woman from earth i ever knew." James smiled a bit, remembering her soft russian accent and her her pale soft skin. " well that quarrel that lawrence talked about, yeah that was her murder"
James stopped talking, a knot built in his stomach, he dident feel like speaking anymore.

Taken aback, Marvin had bit his lip, a common habit of his when in such a bad situation. He shyly admitted, "I try not to listen on the Captain's assignments, but yes I overheard." He relinquished his habit for a moment, replying kindly, "Yes but, that's all you've been turning to. You've done more for the Ishimura before that. If I do understand," he glanced at his holodevice and skimmed through some lines, "than you've been on the Ishimura since you've jumped out of college with a degree in engineering. Since graduation, you've been working on the ship up until an incident with the Ishimura, where on your return from the planet crack, you were quickly switched out with another engineer graduate who," he took a quick glance at James, "Was profoundly known as an active, young Unitologist." He took a breath and looked over at James, "In that time before that, you must have seen and known much of Captain Mathias' movements and orders." He sighed, trying to re-approach explaining it to Hawkins, "What I am trying to say is that you seem to be focusing too much on that argument and not enough on the general picture. We need to find the Ishimura James, we need your help."

He went silent for a moment. Marvin didn't know how to say it. He was silent for a moment, What could he say to him to explain it just so he could get the truth out?
