How did your love of Death Note Started?

Mines was when my friend let me borrow one of his Death Note book and I got hooked. It exciting! And I love L!

Uhm... I don't quite remember. I think I saw it on Adult Swim one night and I was like "hey that looks cool..." And like 6 months later I actually checked it out... I didn't leave my room for DAYS. xD

I got hooked the first time the first episode came out. I was hypnotised by it until episode 37 where it ended. THAT REALLY SUCKED.

Oh, gawd, this is going to be a long story, so I hope you don't read this right before you have to leave the house.
About three years ago, Death Note was all the rage. I didn't want to be left out, so I did some research on the characters. That was when I met and fell in love with L. However, I learned that he was going to die in the series, so I didn't want to let myself be too attatched to him.
About a year later, I went to an anime convention and met an L cosplayer that told me that L's death was going to turn out to be fake. After that I was going to watch Death Note, but I was too lazy. Another year later, famous people started dying all the time, and people joked that Kira had to do with it. After ruminating that for six months, I decided, "Enough already!" and started watching it. I enjoyed it greatly.
