It wasn't my punishment, but someone in my band decided to get all over her boyfriend and both of them couldn't come to the bandhall unless they have a band/jazz class in there. What was hilarious ws that she didn't have a jazz class and she couldn't leave from any other class because my band director told her so. Although her boyfriend did, I didn't care. Then, some people were nearly kicked out of band, but are band director gave them a second chance, only because one was a senior and about to leave, and the other one was really talented on what the instrument he played. The reason they were almost kicked out of band was because they did some inappropiate things on school grounds. Other than that, our band director is really nice.

Our band director makes us either stand at attention for a long time or makes us run laps around our practice field.

So when I was in band they made us do push ups (usually 30)
But now I am in guard as of last year and they made us run 6 laps on a standard track which is a 1 mile and 800 kilometers on a burning day -___- for just one person being late. Also, we also had a thing where if one person was late we would do laps...

My BD is really nice and caring but when he's mad he just talks to you in this tone . . . surprised you can REALLY tell he's disappointed and it makes you feel HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

The worse punishment I had to suffer was when the whole band had got in a circle and did elbows and toes(where you have to stay on elbows and toes without your stomach, leg, knee or anything touching the grass) We have to stay like that for 20 min...not so bad till there is a restart where someone falls or talks...and thanks to that Southern Georgia weather...it was about 96, but felt like 106. All that because we're late to marching band.

hahaha our punishments are funny well funny for the people not getting punished. He comes up with different ideas everyday. Once this fluter continuously started and stopped late and he made her do push while saying "one band, one sound" she never forgot. lawlz.

lol marching practice.... sweatdrop It was POURING outside, but we had to practice marching anyway. So, like 5 minutes before our next class started, our BD realized what time it was. We all had to RUN back to the band room and dry off our instruments and drop them off in the instrument room. All of us were like 10 minutes late and got tardy.... xd Our BD didn't mean it tho. razz

Loom:
"My bd made us do all the usual, laps in the terrible humid heat and all that, but nothing really interesting. Once I had a squad of my own, though, I always wanted to make them do laps around the field with a marimba...."
