I love it too. I miss the towns, but it is still a great game. Though I'm kinda ticked that you don't get all of your Eidolens until about 3/4 of the way into the game. So you don't get to use them that much, but they were still one of the strong selling points of the game.
The graphics are hands down some of the best I've seen. And the character's expressions and body language is good as well. The voice actors also know what they're doing and since this is such a talkative game, I'm really thankful for that.
The levels are also extremely linear, there's not a lot of exploring going on, but I think it suits this kind of game.
Overall, I give it a 9.2/10

This thread should have been started awhile ago but I'm glad it did get started. Final fantasy 13 is a good game from what I've seen. A roommate has it.

FF13 is awesome I'm on chapter 11 man monsters start to get hard there. I'm doing all the monster killing missions now
