What do you guys think of Voltorb Flip?

I think it's pretty fun, but Slots was better D:

Voltorb Flip can be a pain and just made it harder to earn coins to get stuff. Why did they take the slots out? They have been in every game and out of nowhere they just replace it.

Aw, I love Voltorb Flip. It's kinda like a mix of Minesweeper and Sudoku. It's definitely not hard to get coins, if you know how to play, I have over 20,000.
It gets pretty addicting =)

I've not even bothered to stop at the Game Corner yet, but from what I hear it's more difficult than the slots and is a bit like Minesweeper. If that's the case, it's about time they added in a more difficult game than the old Clefairy Slots, so I'll be sure to try it out one of these days.

Slots are gone because some people felt that it was teaching little kids how to gamble. That's why Voltorb Flip doesn't require you to buy coins.

Seriously, gambling? I don't think it was THAT close to eight liners. xd

I like it, but I don't. It's fun but my luck usually sucks too much to make many coins off of it. Sometimes, I've hit 5 Voltorbs on first flip in a row as well as hitting one when I get a high amount. =/

I'm too used to there being slots. I've only played those a couple times, though. I usually just kept buying the coins until I have enough to get what I'm after.

I told that to my boyfriend, but he replied with "It's still gambling, because you're betting the HOUSE coins." He told me that he was never gonna take me anywhere like that, cuz I wouldn't be able to stop, like I can't stop Voltorb Flip. XD

I don't get that game. I'm really not interested in learning how to play a game within a game. If I wanted to play sudoku or minesweeper, I wold do it outside of pokemon. But catching crazy monsters and battling them is something I can't do in real life.

can someone give me some tips for that game? XD

Hrm. Tips

Basics, you only need to uncover the 2's and 3's. So if you see a row of

5 Coins [0 Voltorbs]. You don't even need to uncover them. As you know they'll all be [1]. Which you don't need.

Like, the magic Number is 5.

5 Coins [0 Volts]
4 Coins [1 Volt]
3 Coins [2 Volts]
2 Coins [3 Volts]
1 Coins [4 Volts]
0 Coins [5 Volts] <-- duh

Don't need to be uncovered because there is no chance of them being helpful (a 2 or a 3)

But really, it does come down to luck sometimes, and for making the best choice, you might want to consider a helper like

Zetshimaru would say marking cards that are known to be 1's or voltorbs. This helps Zetshimaru think a little better.
