once while doing some recon in space gene was really bored so he flew at light speed for about an hour then a strange ship went by as gene approached his home planet he later meet the pilot of that ship at the local bar he hangs at during the time a pirate and a man with a huge bounty on his head came into the bar. spike and gene both notice the two and went to kick their a** but failed spike got in genes way and gene got in spikes way so they both had to go to the hospital and they died gene woke up in an hour spike stayed dead gene laughed in his face and killed the man with the bounty and the pirate and got drunk with the money twisted
