Herry Rockabore Goddess of The Century  I've always thought Dionysus to be a young, handsome boy who wore tiger pelts. I guess since he was the god of wine, most people just give him a beer belly.
Poor Hades. I don't think the blue, flaming hair worked for him.
Haha. xDIf you think that's bad. You should see the atrocity DC committed when Hades was in the Wonder Woman movie. He's the one in the middle! They made him really obese and have creepy looking Ursula features. Seriously where would they even get that, Hades seems like the least likely to be obese god and he acted like a hedonist. For all Disney did wrong by making him a bad guy at least he was smooth and had a great design and a great voice. DC didn't get him right AT ALL. Nowhere EVER was Hades depicted like that. Oh and they made him a bad guy in Wonder Woman too. [[On a sidenote: I actually think the Wonder Woman movie isn't a bad movie but they screwed up big time in their depiction of the gods (besides Ares) and it kind of rushed the origin of Diana.]]

Hera did that to Dionysus as a kid/teen for revenge as he was a son of Zeus and Semele. So, Dionysus was dubbed the god of insanity, so shouldn't he be able to drive him insane?

Yes, yes.
I agree with Hermes.
I would but the only gods in it are Hades and Ares (Ares is voiced by Doctor Octopus from Spider-man 2) there was one scene with Hera and Zeus's voices.
But yeah, I wasn't even expecting to see Hades in that movie at all since he was never a huge part in Wonder Woman compared to Ares, Circe, or Hercules who are three of her big bads. I was just shocked by how wrong he looked, I mean at least Disney made him dark and at least look like he would makes sense as the Lord of the Underworld, in WW he just looked ... I dunno what he looked... but it's not what I think of when I think Hades.
He was in the animated Justice League as well... that wasn't so good either but he at least looked cool and had a good voice... even though he was again represented as a threat. |
