In Marvel G1 Comics run, Ratchet went one on one against effing MEGATRON, knocked him off a cliff, thus setting up the next issue for the most awesome Transformers-related story ever.
In fact, in that series Ratchet did a whole lot of butt-kicking if I recall correctly. Ratchet all the way.
First Aid, on the other hand... is a leg.
I think we all know which way this one's going to go.

I kind of like First Aid, but Ratchet is one of my all time fav Autobots.
Besides, if I choose First Aid, Ratchet is liable to throw a Cybertronian-sized wrench at my head. 0_0

Mylian In Marvel G1 Comics run, Ratchet went one on one against effing MEGATRON, knocked him off a cliff, thus setting up the next issue for the most awesome Transformers-related story ever. In fact, in that series Ratchet did a whole lot of butt-kicking if I recall correctly. Ratchet all the way. First Aid, on the other hand... is a leg. I think we all know which way this one's going to go. Leg? Or an arm? Say, does Ratchet die in the Marvel story line like he did in the movie?

I'm pretty sure First Aid usually ends up as Defensor's leg. And I don't think Ratchet bites it when Unicron shows up in the comics.

I think they should just resurrect Ratchet smile But instead they put his body in that giant space tomb in the episode Dark Awakening. cry And since that tomb crashed into a sun, Ratchet's body is long gone now.

I maybe totally off target but i though (at least in teh cartoon continuity) that preceptor played a bigger role as Doctor, while first aid was more of a field medic/paramedic.
