Gah, it's the Equinox already?! I swear I only just celebrated Freyfaxi.

What are you doing?
What do you like/dislike about this time of year?
How do you decorate your altar or shrine?
What lore or mythology to you associate with this time of year? How is this reflected in your celebration (if at all)?

Sharing time! 4laugh

My boyfriend's birthday is on the 21st. The most fertile day of the year, and he (hopefully) gets birthday sex. I've half a mind to make him wear a condom (we haven't used a condom since last August!), but I'm not that mean. wink

I've glazed myself an offering bowl with Spring-y colors, and I plan on putting that on my altar. I also plan on getting some flowers for my room. smile

Probably some Spring Cleaning, too.

Happy Spring, everyone!

My oldest son's b-day is on the Equinox, so we'll probably be doing something with him. I have some gardening things I'd like to get done by then as well.

Not sure if I'm going to be doing any sort of formal ritual as of yet.

This year instead of going out and buying food specifically for the meal I'm just trowing together whatever we have in the house. It should be interesting. I'm still going to buy yeast (only because I'm out) so I can make sun bread.

I will be doing a clensing and resetting my homes wards. Fresh start all around.

My ritual this year involved starting with a gold candle, then switching it with a black one halfway through to signify the change from longer days, to balance, to longer nights, and from dying-summer to growing-winter. It worked very well and I was quite happy with it.

I'll admit, I didn't have time for an actual ritual. But I did go out work in my garden and had some meditation time out there.

Pretty avi, shadow 4laugh

I have trouble skipping rituals nowadays. I feel like I've left something behind or the world has moved on without me. sweatdrop I can postpone them but not for too long.

To the one that I serve

I skipped ritual. I just didn't plan it and then time got ahead of me. I am hoping to do something on the full moon though.
I will give my all
