College is very important even if you arent going to be a doctor or lawyer...Its not useless or a waste of time. dancers, actors, chefs and artist all can benifit from going. I used to think it was a waste...but it is essential! 3nodding
So..where are you going? Why there...? And to advance on what?
If your not going... Why?
I am Getting ready to E-tend (haha...attend online) the Academy of Art University to get me BFA in illustration- entertainment. I qualified for many grants. I will maby draw for graphic novels/ comic books, storyboards for movies, shows or games, or concept art..
I am in excited awe b/c people in my family just dont do this...go to college i mean. *sigh* xd

I'm going to Inha University, Majoring in Law and not really going for anything in particular.
I'm a musician, so to me college is my safety net in case I need something to fall back on, I enjoy it very much and it keeps me busy when we're on the road.

I've recently started attending American River College. It's just a community college, but it's comfortable. Especially since I don't know what I want to major in quite yet.

I attend Sinclair Community College. I was a double major in Visual Communications Graphic Design and Computer Systems Information with a focus in Web Development. I'm done with my csi major and i've also already got a certificate for multimedia design, that only means I've taken all computer related courses in the vis department lol.
As to why, well why spend your life working crappy a** jobs for places like Mcdonalds. Yes it pays, but we all know it just sucks. And even Mcdonalds wants to see their employees with a college degree! I would rather know that I'm doing what I want! Thanks to my education so far, I've already began the process to get my studio lunched and begin my dream!
Sinclair is also a wonderful school!!! I would recommend it to anyone in the dayton area! It has the lowest tuition in the state and is the only collage/university in ohio that is both NASAD and AGIA accredited!

hm....seems like a personal question but i will answer anyways!! 3nodding I want to go to LMU. I plan on having a double major in animation and....something else. haha im not to sure yet. sweatdrop maybe history....? Why do I want to go there? a number of reasons. its only an hour away from home, small community, have some friends already going there, heard its a good school, and I dont want to go to an all art school because I want to major in something besides art. Those are just some of the reasons xp

I'm probably going to Drury, to major in Criminology and minor in Psycology, because I'd like to be a cop, and eventually an FBI agent. I'd also like to go to a culinary institute to have something to fall back on, though I'm still looking into that one 3nodding

buffy: fyi culinary isn't a fall back the cop is a fall back, cooking world is one of the hardest to get into, no matter how many "connections" talent or skills or qualifications you have. As well the least "booming" of careers.
Uhm well I currently go to Santa Monica College, just to get my general ed. done (to save money) and then I plan to transfer to Antioch U to ph.d with psych and eventually be a child psychologist.
Uhm I recommend SMC if you do well in a big school and enviornment. The main campus is beautiful, but people who do well in a smaller ed. enviornment shouldn't go, they should go to a smaller cc
As for antioch it is a private so it is perfect for people who learn in a smaller situation, but a wonderful school

Actually, Culinary will get you farther if you intend to be a cook. Cook jobs are great (my step-dad is one), and even with a GED you can get some pretty good jobs, but I suggest culinary if you can get it.
It'll look good, and get you a little farther. Besides...you might even have fun with it.
I don't know what I want to be...for now, I'm going to finish high school, then go to the local Community College (still not even sure what I'm going to do there). My friend said maybe an engineer, and that idea really appeals to me. I honestly still have no idea what I'm going to end up doing, though...
Still, my plan is to go to my local CC, then finish at a school in what I want to be, with a fallback, but until then...bleh.
Hell, I know enough psychology, I could probably do that if need be...

I want to go to the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design. Its a four-year college that includes illustration which is what i'm looking to do. I already went to visit the school which is in Lancaster. It's very nice and very big. The people there thought I was a Senior but they were even more impressed with my talent when I'm really a Junior.
