Airstrip Central

The north half of this section of the airstrip is dominated by an old warehouse. What a warehouse is doing in such an inconvenient place for the planes is a mystery; perhaps this is why the airstrip is now abandoned. The warehouse itself, while looking delapidated, still stands, and all entrances have been magically sealed to prevent travel in and out.

The rest of this area is flat asphalt. There's no particular wreckage here, though it looks like that is only because this area has been cleared away.

Kit looked around the airstrip. First a city, then a temple, now this. He held a huge bamboo leaf over his head to keep himself cool from the heat. Earth wasn't such a bad place, it definately had it's moments. He heard the buzz of the heat through the desert. There was a werehouse in the middle of the place, he found out he couldn't penetrate the building, well, while he was here, might as well wander...

He couldn't be sure about the rest of his team, but Vincent was not pleased with the situation. Though Weinberg was contractually obligated to evenly share the winnings with the team, he still didn't like the situation. There was no good reason he could think of for their leader to command his team to remain outside (naturally, he passed the core to someone else while giving this instruction). That's what made it so scary. But it was futile to go against his leader's orders. So Vincent would wait. Maybe something interesting would happen and he could actually do something for once. The long, drawn-out fight with Squadron did little more than dull his interest in battle. Vincent sat down, leaning against the wall of the warehouse.

"Weinberg...hurry get reward."

Three men and two metallic orbs lounged around the airfield. They had move a few crates to create a barrier between themselves and whoever would decide to come.

"Orders are simple boys," The medium sized man in a green coat said, "I don't think I have to review again. Right?"

"Yep bro." The bigger of the three respond. He was wearing armour and was equipped with what looked like a pick on a pole.

"Ya bozz." The diminutive of the three gave a salute. He had a backpack on him that was far too big for him. Looks like it hand electronics coming out of it.

One of the spheres set up behind the barrier. It unfolded three stabilisers and a cannon. The cannon, looking sort of like a mini-tank one, arched up in the same fashion as a mortar.

The other one had spider like legs, it was walking around the parameter. The top half of the sphere was rotating, looking for something to shoot with the high powered rifle attached.

"What in the heavens are those?" Kit whispered to himself, watching the two orbs do their business. He stared at them in amazement, and then stared at the things they were setting up in awe as well. What were they doing? It didn't have to do with that sealed werehouse, did it? Kit put his hand in his bag, but hesitated, maybe he didn't want to disturb them just yet, just find out what they were doing first.

"Great, now that you escorted your boss inside," He looked to Vincent, "I'm gonna have to ask you to back away a bit. My boss is paraniod too. I wouldn't want my boss to pull out the prize thinking he was gonna get ambused by one of his "teams""

The man in the green coat was only instruced to let the team leaders this far into the base.

"Ah, but my friend very comfortable now. You not harm us, we not harm you. Besides, unless you tell me who boss is, I not care about your boss. We not even near door anyway, and my boss make this order." Vincent's left hand moved to his utility belt and clasped the head of one of his hammers. A fight was probably unneccessary, but with Martian already fortifying himself, it would be too draining to retreat now.

"Whatever you want," The man in the green coat said casualy, "But remember that I offred you when you don't get your money. So don't try and pull anything."

Franz who was watching the teams comunications got the first signal. He raised one finger and then put it down.

His furry orange ears twitched and Kit retreated from looking at the spread of deadly weapons. He wandered around the empty airstrip, circling the large werehouse in the center. That was when the kitsune stopped. There were two people here as well. There was a man on some kind of seat made out of moss. There was another man fingering what seemed to be a hammer. Dangerous spread of weaponry on one side, a fight starting on another. This airstrip was chock full of surprises, wasn't it?

Vincent nodded his agreement before reaching into his vest with his free hand. After pulling out a deck of cards, he began to deal ten cards to Martian and himself. After picking up his hand and setting the rest of the deck on the ground between them, he looked at his teammate and asked with a heavy accent, "Got any fives?"

Franz got the second signal. He put up his two fingers, but the plan was comprimized since those two wouldn't leave.

"Boss, we git signal." He said hoping the teams tactician would have a plan.

"Well, that's our signal boys." Reg yawned, "Deal went down without a hitch. Pack up and move out."

"Looks like you get your money after all," he smilled and began to walk away, "Besides it's just like you said, we were doing our jobs. We're all honest men here."

The spheres began to move out first. The mortar folded up and began to roll away like some kind of ball with direction. The spiderlegged sniper droid followed.
The three men didn't get very far away though. Krom was about to turn to his brother and ask what the hell was going on. His brother responded by making a "throat slitting" motion to Franz. With a few presses of his control pad the GUNone unfolded again.

Then there was a bang, and imadiatly after that there was a mortar shell flying over the barricade towards Team Weinburg. Even if it didn't get them it should at least disrupt the barricade.

The Leix brothers were not honest men.

"Oh come on!" Kit yelled out loud, being pretty far from the two, he didn't expect them to hear him clearly enought to notice him, but hey, you never knew. He started to walk back to the other side, where the dangerous guns and people were. This pair seemed mostly harmless. If he wanted to watch a card game he could have went to the tavern and watch people crack a few heads as well.
((Edit!!))

Kit was just about to walk back when a huge BANG echoed throughout the empty field. He jumped in surprise and watched as a motar went down on the two guys. That was when he ran for it.
