I liked it. It was a very fun movie, there could of been more to it though.
I completely adore Absolem.
And I really want to watch it in 3D now. o.o

I don't want to die slowly, I don't want to decay; I want to be chosen, I want to be made I feel like people who have read both Alice In Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass are gonna like the movie the best, simply because (spoiler!)the plot is mostly TTLG, and most people don't know that story. They'll be like, 'Oh, it didn't really stick to the story,' when, in fact, it does.
I personally loved it, because I have read both, and I loved TTLG. I was so happy when (spoiler!) he finally said the line at the end, 'I haven't the slightest idea,' about the raven and writing desk joke. I had a fangirl moment there. :3 I don't want to die lonely and weary of life; I will not be earth bound, I'm goin' to fly

Anyone else like the Rabbit Hole scene? It was such a change from the beginning of the movie.

Supreme love for this movie! I was slightly put off by mention of a terrible plot line however I thought it was over all poetic.

WARNING: MY COMMENT DEFINITELY CONTAINS SPOILERS. If you haven't seen the movie yet, you may wanna skip it. ^_^
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't.
I was actually thoroughly impressed. It was a LOT better than I was expecting to be, honestly. I only really had three problems or so, and that was they changed the Jabberwocky poem, made the Jabberwock and Bandersnatch real Wonderlanders, and called it Underland instead of Wonderland. Aside from that, though, it was very enjoyable, the music was quite compelling (I've always loved Eflman's work, though) and even the whole Jabberwock/Bandersnatch thing wasn't that bad because they worked it into the movie splendidly (I love the whole Bandersnatch scene when she's in it's little doghouse thing getting the Vorpal Blade ^_^). It was so cute! And the 3D effects were really good, as well. Not like Avatar (Pops seems to think it better than Avatar's, though I highly disagree with that statement), but they were very well threaded in. Haha. And yes, that rabbit hole scene was great. I like how it was a tad more realistic that she fell at such a quick and alarming pace, rather than have time to read a book or look for Orange Marmalade. Added to the suspense, although the movie as a while did move kind of fast.
::THE ACTION SEQUENCE:: Has GOT to be my favourite part of that movie. I've always loved action, but that was just great, how the I guess.....epic's too big of a word for it, but other words escape me at the moment.....of the start of the battle and how Alice focused herself on the Jabberwock, and I LOVED the Jabberwock himself! Haha, he was very calm and collected, the type of cool character you'd expect a smart a** doctor or lawyer to be. XD Very professional, yet insulting in his manner of speech. rofl But then when both sides suddenly dove in, just...ahh. Twas beautiful.
And yes, Lady Azure, Absolem was quite the caterpillar. o.o Haha
Most amazing character, though - Cheshire Cat. Hands down. ^_^
btw, Will be posting a movie review on it soon, after I have it written, and have my brother (an actual movie reviewer/critic) look over it. XD Cause I just have so much to say about this movie. lol
And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

Call me Hattress ¯`°¤.¸.¤¯`°¤.¸.¤¯`°¤.¸.¤¯`°¤.¸.¤ Call me Law I absolutely loved the movie. Some favorite parts are: - When the March Hare throws the teacup and shouts "You're LATE for TEA!" (Actually, most parts including the March Hare made me giggle a bit) - The dress that Alice wears when she is in the Red Queen's palace - When Alice is counting the six impossible things before she kills the Jaberwocky. - Cheshire - The Tweedles. (aka, "Fat Boys") - The Hatter, of course! And ohmygoodness so many other things! I just loved the whole thing!

I loved the costumes!!! I also loved the fact that they had subtle 3D effects (the dust and the butterfly especially) instead of how some 3D movies have clearly added bits to throw at people.

I hereby proclaim I am the first Absolem fangirl. ^_^
Also why didn't they ever play 'Alice's Theme' in full throughout the entire movie? I love that track.
Oh and the Jabberwocky's two lines completely stole that scene, he was awesome.

Hmm, in general I think the 3-D effects didn't make too much of a difference. But then again, I didn't like 3-D in Avatar either, since it gave me a headache.
The plotline was good, but not very random. In some ways it was rather generic. Not quite as good as the books obviously. I didn't think they took "Through the looking glass" much into account.
But otherwise there were some parts that had merit. The animation was brilliant, it fit people in, in a natural way. I quite enjoyed the characters, they were played quite well.

Un-sane Hattress - The dress that Alice wears when she is in the Red Queen's palace - When Alice is counting the six impossible things before she kills the Jaberwocky. - Cheshire

@Hattress: I KNOW!! As soon as I saw it I turned to my dad and said, "Pops, it's cute!! I want that dress!!!!" X3 Like, I would save up every cent I gain from now to buy that dress over anything (except for one thing. >_< But Idt that's happening soon. Stupid summer. XD) And I agree about her counting the six impossible things; the way they worked that in there was a VERY nice touch, I loved that, because it's one of my favourite quotes (actually tried getting a picture of just those lines and I think I have it on FaceBook somewhere with the other lines around those blurred - loveloveLOVE those lines. XD) from Looking-Glass. And the Cheshire. Was amazing. x.x Like, Idk how to describe it, but he just was. Cheshire was beyond badass. XD
@Leaf: Yes, I completely agree! My friend Kat said sht thought the White Queen's was horrible, and I'm like, "Whaaaa?! I adored the White Queen's! It made he exact effect it was supposed to. It gave her the sense of purity and innocence she was supposed to have for the film, but with Hathaway and the way she carried herself, she still had the Queenliness and dignity of a Queen she was meant to be." x.x And I agree with the 3D thing. Like, it wasn't as prominent in Avatar, and it was only when necessary, which I'm very grateful for. It added a nice feel to it, not an overwhelming in your face thing.
@Lady Azure: I agree, their rendition of the Jabberwock was very unique, and still very well done. I love Christopher Lee's voice, honestly. He's got that very well spoken and professional sense, but can still be intimidating and cryptic, and a total smug b******. XD Haha.
@Koji: Honestly, I liked the plot. True, the whole Alice overthrowing the Red Queen thing was a tad generic, but their execution was very unoiue, I don't think I've ever seen that much thought put into how she's supposed to do it, and the whole Frabjuous Day thing was a nice spin to use. As for referencing to Looking Glass, personally, I think they used influence from it a helluva lot more than most other adaptation have, like the 1951 animated Disney's Alice or American McGee's Alice.
And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

I liked the Jabberwocky's entrance as well, I was worried they'd make him too 'regular dragon' like, but they obviously were inspired by the original illustration so... yay! ^_^
Also... when Absolem laughed... so cute! o.o

Personally, Alice in Wonderland was my least favourite Burton film. EVER.
I feel like the movie made Carroll's books seem slightly ridiculous, much more so than they were meant to be. And some of the characters were extremely under-developed.
As a movie, it was good. As a tribute to the books, it was dreadful.
And I HATED the Hatter's dance. That scene needs to die. Now.
